Normally, when I text there's always a tick next to all my text messages. I decided to send a text to everyone in my contact list in order to check whether their numbers were still working. I did get notifications that the text wasn't sent to some contacts which indicated that their numbers were no longer valid, but some of my other contacts did not have a tick next to their message and I didn't even receive an undelivered notification of those contacts. Does this mean that their numbers are no longer in use? here were ticks next to the contacts who I know had a valid working number.
I cant get the delivery reports to work, I have found the settings, press menu in message screen-settings. It is checked but I never get any delivery reports
i have bb curve 8520 os v5.0.0.681 and service provider is idea cellular lmtd. i had recently updated my curve to new os 5, but now my sms delivery report is not working,i have tried turning it on many times from options.
When I send a text. Delivery report is working, it comes a "check box". But after leaving the app it dissappear. So if I go in and look at the message again I can't see if it's delivered.

Found nothing via Google or in this forum so I thought I ask you for help.My provider charges me for SMS delivery report. The SMS itself are free so it's very annoying to pay for the delivery report. With my old phone I could disable these reports but I found no option in the menu to do this on the 2710.
recentlyy i have updated my phone software to v40.0.0.2.. after that whenever i send any textmsg and then delivey report is recevied i get message tone and for some 1-2 sec it shows new msg received but actually delivery report is recieved..
I just bought a galaxy S5, model number SM-G900AZ, running on Android version 4.4.2. Unfortunately, there is no message delivery report box to activate. I went to <messaging> then to the <settings> and then <text messages> and didn't find the option box to tick.
disable notifications (mainly the audio ones, but the status bar ones as well would be nice!) On Delivery Reports. I've just moved to the HD from the Desire and was able to have Delivery Reports enabled and not get any annoying notifications! If I wanted to see a report in just held on the message and tapped 'view report' from the menu, but on the HD, enabling Delivery Reports causes an audio and visual notification to happen, like a new message has come in. This is a real pain in the ass and is fast becoming a deal breaker for me as I like to have Delivery Reports on.
I was wondering if there is a way to set up text messages without using a 3rd party app, to see if the person I have sent a text to, has received the text. I know on my Galaxy S5, it was in the options, but I cant find it on my S6 edge.......
I am using 5530xm, whenever I send a text msg, the delivery report stays in the memory till the msg delivery is pending, but as soon as it gets delivered, it vanishes,
am trying to get delivery reports on my xperia mini x10 pro i have gone onto settings and gone into the sony ericsson file but it hasnt come up with anything to do with messages how can i get the delivery reports onto my phone
When I got the phone I had to turn off the SMS delivery receipts due to getting charged for each one.....I did the upgrade yesterday and now its turned back on again.....I cant find the Phone's message settings.
i was wondering if anyone could help me to find my contacts! i used the backup function on my phone then reset the phone thinking i could restore my contacts! after resetting i went to restore and the percentage went up and said it had finished but still no contacts! call log restored though! i then tried to import the ones i had saved on my sim again it finishes loading but when i go into phonebook it comes up with the same screen saying, import sim contacts, sync and google sync. however when a sim contact txt me their name appeared! yet i cant get to them in my phonebook! also now my phone wont acsess the internet, i have enables data trafficing but it wont open the browser.what is going on! is there a simple solution i have missed?
When i synced contacts, the facebook contacts are not coming as phone contacts. So i cant use these contacts in many apps since they are not phone contacts. How to copy all contacts to phone contacts?
thought everything was ok with my phone, (experia mini, new software) but for some reason when I tap the contacts icon on the bottom of the screen, my contacts are not there, only my own name. I can search for names in messaging and everyone from my phone contacts, to my facebook friends and even Fearne cotton from twitter is there! I would like just my phone contacts visible in my phone book. I've tried to back up contacts from before the software update yesterday, and it takes ages to get through to 100% but the names are still missing
I have decided after reading all the threads that I will pre-order from Apple next Tuesday and now need to decide whether to have home delivery or in store delivery. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Ive heard that to home there may be activation issues and its better to be in store for troubleshooting but in store on launch day may be packed and I may have to wait I've heard that they have 2 different lines for walk ins and pre-orders is this true? If I send to store can I pick up anytime that day? How does apple ship their orders UPS.FedEx.Etc.Just want to get all the facts for both options if possible. This is my first time pre-ordering and just want to be prepared and make the right decision.
iPhone's being shipped by UPS will be delivered on the 24th iPhone's being shipped by Fedex will be delivered on the 23rd (It shouldn't matter if you ordered through AT&T or Apple.com) The only evidence to back this up is Apple's email to its customers claiming a June 23rd delivery, and all of these orders have Fedex as the carrier. This could mean that AT&T customers with Fedex as the carrier will also receive their iPhone's on the 23rd as well. Though for most AT&T customers there is no data for their tracking. EDIT- Some Fedex tracking information is showing a June 23rd delivery, on par with Apple.com orders. Fedex could be exclusively dealing with June 23rd deliveries while UPS is dealing with June 24th (Actual Launch Day) deliveries.
I will be out on a meeting for work that morning that FedEx normally arrives but my girlfriend will be home that day all day.Can She sign for it or does the signature HAVE to be my name?
I've got an update via SEUS this week and there's a small fault with it (a library file is showing up in the app list). Is there any way I can report this to SE? I don't really want to mail the SEAnswers team, but at the moment this looks like the only route.
some games was working so good till i uptade to ICS then all of games didnt work and touch screen make me crazy untill i downgrade again by flashtool 2 GB then every thing bcome great as it was bs some games FC and give the same msgs that i faced on ICS. so is there any report file on the fone that i can delete to make the games work again or something like that.
I activate timescape and it tooks all my facebook contacts and put it in the adress book of my phone, and now i can not see my sim contacts. how can I undo this, I already turn off facebook in timescape, maybe i should delete it for now as i don't use it, i like to keep my phone contact separate from facebook and access facebook only when i need it. and now i can't configure presonal ring for the people i have in my phone book, because it took all the facebook information and its with timescape and dosn't have an option to set a ring for the contact in edit part i just can add it to favorites o delete contact. and i still can not see my sim contacts they are somewhere because when i tap a name in search bar it shows me the contact and phone, but i'd like to see what i have.
