i can't use my FB application on 5530 XpressMusic..it's saying " An error occured. It may cause the device reboot "... What should i do now ?? I have already re-installed my Phone Software.

Then suddenly the application crashed! -_-".The phone was stuck on a pure white screen and didn't do anything new for five minutes. I eventually took out the battery. When I reinserted and turned on screen doesn't turn on, the vibrator just starts and doesn't stop. I've removed the battery for about 15 minutes and tried again but no luck.What are my options with support? The phone is new so should be under warranty.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHave had this phone for a couple of years - i haven't done anything recently that i think may cause this problem.Today a message comes up every few seconds asking me to select an accessory (headset/headphones/lineout/music stand) - it thinks i have something plugged into the audio socket. I do not! I have not used the audio jack for at least a year!I have rebooted it & taken the battery out. I've also reset to factory settings & reinstalled the software, but still i have this problem.In this state, the phone is not usable since this message constantly gets in the way.Earlier on today the problem was different, a symbol came up at top right meant a headset was connected (when the truth is it wasn't). This meant i couldn't use the phone to call people as we couldn't hear each other. After this, i changed some bits in the accessory settings & now i have the problem i described at the start of this message.

The problem is, I formatted my handset a month ago but now when I check the Memories, it says Phone Memory 1.3 MB Free (Almost Full) while my Memory card's memory is doing good. how to tackle with this situation? Because when I connect my phone to PC and check the Phone Memory, I only find files sizing 89 kb.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI left my phone to charge one night before going to bed (pulled out the charger when it finished). The next morning the phone had shut down by itself and when I tried turning it on I got white lines accross the screen. That happened for a few more times (sometimes blue or green or red lines), and after I removed and put the battery back in the following has been happening since then : Starting the phoneWhite screen with Nokia logo shows upMessage "Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer". Phone hangs. If I press the shut down button, lines appear and fade out before phone shuts down.
I tried the hard reset method, but either I am doing it wrong, or it just doesn't apply here. I tried connecting it to my PC, but it is not recognised (probably because a message to select PC Suite doesn't show up). The phone is a few months outside warranty, so it is not financially wise (or viable) to send it for repairs. I am an advanced user and I'm willing to try any flashing utilities guides to restore it to working condition. Could it be the battery needing a switch? I tried removing the memory card & SIM, but the problem persists.

View 5 Replies View Relatedthe problem i am posting here relates to ovi mail software..roblems being faced..1. you can not attach files more than a total of 2048 kb and neither can you download2. whenever you try to download any attachment you get a notification "UNABLE TO PERFORM OPERATION".3. when checking mails that have images attached to it and are meant to be automatically downloaded, the device shows the status of image being downloaded and the status constantly remains idle at 0% and after a few seconds the same notification as you get in the problem no. 2. is displayedits highly dissapointing on the part of nokia, that after a peson who has spent a sum of INR 23,000 is getting such softwares and i really dont think a customer is expecting such softwares/performance after spending INR 23,000 onto just a PHONE.I really dont know whether the customer who have purchased N 8 are aware of this issue persisting in their phones or probably i should say they dont explore thier devices well enogh.I never expected that i will be so dissapointed after spending so much of money onto a phone that does not facilitate me even with the basic functions.And lastly one thing that is relly notable is that the phones from nokia itself which cost between INR 10000-15000 does not have such restrictions for mail.

The strange thing about this is that the application "Guides" (also built with the suite of Nokia Maps 2.0) if you check the correct temperature.I was making comparisons and in Windows 7 the current temperature is 31 º C. I've used it before successfully on my N95.But since I installed it on my Nokia N8 I have a problem exporting it.On my N95 I just selected "Export Diary", I choose "OK" for allowing app to manage user data, I choose the memory partition and that was all. The diary was exported to my sd card in .txt format.

He said it was a great phone till the screen cracked out of nowhere (touch area intact, lcd glass intact), and he didn't bother fixing it, bought the **bleep** bitten fruit phone.anyway, I brought it back to life two or three days ago. View 6 Replies View RelatedI did a partial restore using the Nokia Suite, selecting only the "Device settings an applications" content (I wanted to restore a theme that I wasn't able to download again without purchasing a second time). The restoral was successful and I have the theme back. The problem is that several other themes that I no longer want were also put back on my N8. I go to Settings>Application manager>Installed apps, however none of the restored themes are listed (they are all taking up Device Memory). how I can delete these items from my phone and thus free up the memory they are occupying?
