View 2 Replies View Relatedi own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?

When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. What is wrong with my 5230, why it doesnt find my memory card and why inserting it makes so slow? I would like to get it work because it has all my music and pictures etc...

I've used it before successfully on my N95.But since I installed it on my Nokia N8 I have a problem exporting it.On my N95 I just selected "Export Diary", I choose "OK" for allowing app to manage user data, I choose the memory partition and that was all. The diary was exported to my sd card in .txt format.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Nokia 5230 and memory card, great no probs, just wanted a photo printing off, the photo shop man couldn't get my memory card out of the mobile and obviously didn't want to force it. (bluetooth from my phone for whatever reason wouldn't work in his shop).
I came home and tried to remove it and had the same problem, the card will come out so far and then it is stuck I tried with tweezers but it still wouldn't budge after a bit of force. Help!! Any solution apart from taking it back to the shop I bought it from? Should the phone be off or on while I am trying to remove the card?
Really working nokia giving a very worst experience.i can't use ovi,when am moving to more pages its giving error messages.memory close some application,and when try to open a web page more than 600 kb,same exception is giving.i lost hope on nokia lost..waste of amount.

I have a one month old N700 which has performed perfectly until I installed a memory card today. The phone states that the card is corrupted.To test the card I have tried it both in a pc and a Samsung phone and have both recognised and utilised the card correctly. I also tried an old 512mb micro sd from the Samsung in the Nokia and again the Nokia said that this was also corrupted but this works perfectly in the Samsung I have downloaded all latest updates etc The card is a brand new Lexar 32gb micro sdhc class 10 I am unable to format the card in the N700 as I cannot get past the corrupted card message?

View 2 Replies View RelatedLike always, on previous Symbian phones I have locked my memory cards with passwords and if you were to insert that locked card into another Symbian phone, it would immediately ask you to enter the password. I did so with my old phone (Nokia C7) and now after inserting that locked card in the 808, nothing comes up.. it doesn't ask for a password input. I am now stuck with a 16 gigs locked micro SD card to which I know the password but I can't unlock it! I know for sure that password protected cards will not show up on computers and it doesn't show up on my gf's Android either. I have been to a Nokia care shop and they have tried with other Nokia phones but nothing worked. They suggested using the phone it was locked with but that's not a possibility because it was broken into pieces and sent to Finland
What else can I try to be able to unlock/input my password into this SD card?
after i had upgrade my N8 from anna to belle i discover that the memory card is locked maybe i would have to read first about all before i upgrade but any way i didnt,so i try to find a way to unlock my memory card with out formatting, coz i got important media on itso can i find a way to do that ?

- I'm moving files, not copying so it shouldn't need any free space.
- Even if it did need free space there is more than enough available on the card.

The problem is whenever I select option Refresh Library, the device is unable to load new music files which I have transferred to memory card using PC suite. Music player is unable to load music files which are stored in memory card. I even updated the phone software but unable to solve this problem, but other files such as videos and images. I am able to see in gallery. Only problem is with the music files.....
