My sim card fills way too quickly, my memory card has so much space. Why isn't it an option to choose like for BBM messages? Or is there a way I just have t discovered yet?

I have an E71x. It has a BUNCH of issues, but my main problem now is I was saving my text messages to my installed memory card. The card became full. I took the card out to get some audio files and other stuff off it to make more room. Well, at some point the phone said the memory card was missing and it would use the internal memory. Now I can't get it to use the memory card again. I see no way to put it back to that. I think the only option I got was to "Copy" messages to the memory card. But I don't want to do that.
I need to save as much stuff as I can off the phone, then reset or restore the phone to the factory settings, or just re-install everything. (this Symbian OS and Nokias poor support of it are for the birds...)But, how do I get the phone to save messages to my memory card again?

I have read previous forum posts and I don't have the options that it is asking for. It says to BB -> Options -> Store Pictures -> change to card, but I don't have the options to Store Pictures. I am using version 4.5.0.186 as per service provider. Can someone please help me.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Black Berry Bold 9700 and I just recently updgraded to the new BlackBerry 6 OS. I took a while for me ro adjust to the changes. What I'm having problems with is when I try to update an application via the BlackBerry Application World it always prompts me that my device has less than 5MB of memory left. With the BlackBerry 5 OS, I used to get a message on where I want to save the file (same goes when downloading) but this does not give that option. I have more than enough space in my memory card. Another issue is I have themes saved in the memory card but for some reason I can't activate them. I can see the themes in the BB application world and can even see them when I hook the phone to my pc but I'm unable to look them up when I go to the change my themes via the display option.

After I set the phone to save messages on memory card, every time I connect it to PC in data storage mode, or take the memory card out and then put it back in, when I open messaging application, I get a message saying that memory card could not be found or something like that and that messages will be stored in phone memory. Is that normal or is my phone malfunctioning?

It is not deleted by me or any other person. Is there any option to get back all those messages. One more thing, in Nokia C5 there is no option to mute the sound of the camera.
