My Nokia 5230 is turning into black/white screen & restarts automatically while trying to do tasks like msg, playing music. Done software reset..But still facing the same issue, done servicing, no of times but no use..
View 1 RepliesI have a Nokia 5230 new phone which I purchased during March-2010. Yesterday, I update the firmware of my phone from v12.0.089 to v20.0.005.The update was done through the Nokia Software Updater and it was successful. However, after that the phone started behaving abnormally and it is getting restarted automatically. For example: whenever any call is coming and I want to receive that call, i click on the receive call button and then the phone gets restarted automatically. Similarly, even if I reject the call, it restarts.Kindly let me know what is the issue and how to fix the same.
View 5 Replies View RelatedLike the title says, my 5230's web browser crashes whenever I try and load a forum thread, I was able to do this a while ago and I've not run out of data or anything, there are no music files, no photos, no apps on the phone. I have reset the settings to factory but nothing has helped.I'm starting to get fed up of this phone, it has good navigation properties but that is just about the only thing it has going for it now.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am using nokia e52 for 1 month and i noticed that when i play music in music player, after playing 2 or 3 songs it restarts automatically. I am very worried about it. I thought that if I reinstall the device software then it will be solved. But alas! I can't reinstall device software with NSU or Ovi suit (latest version).I am using the latest firmwae 071.004 (rm-469) I updated this firmware 10 days ago. Before this update the problem was happening and still happening after the latest firmware installed.

The problem is whenever I select option Refresh Library, the device is unable to load new music files which I have transferred to memory card using PC suite. Music player is unable to load music files which are stored in memory card. I even updated the phone software but unable to solve this problem, but other files such as videos and images. I am able to see in gallery. Only problem is with the music files.....

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I turn my phone off it starts to play whatever song it feels like that I have installed. Like right when I turn my phone off it'll start to play. I have to have the volume all the way down so it doesnt start to play music anymore.If I pause it from the lockscreen it won't start back up which is good. its done this before and stopped but now it's gone on for a week or 2 and it's just really annoying.

My 2014 Honda CRV EX automatically starts the music app on my Samsung Galaxy s5 (Music Player) every time I start the car and every time I make or receive a phone call. Is there a way to disable this function but still have a Bluetooth connection for phone calls?

If I have emails come in while the music is playing, it lowers the sound of hte music and plays the alert notice. I would like this alert to be automatically disabled while playing music.

I have followed numerous instructions fron these forums again with no success.My prob is that when i attempt to use the Ovimap, I get to the main menu and press Position the map shows for a couple of minutes, yellow bar at bottom blinks then phone restarts.Any help would be great.

Now suddenly it started restarting at least 3 or 4 times in a day randomly. i install anti virus but no virus has been found. some time if it is restart it stuck up with welcome screen "NOKIA". also in that time no buttons are working, nothing will happen, Just full white screen with nokia logo and back light is on. then i i will remove the battery for few seconds, then only it will work?

I bought a Nokia 5230 in Jan this year. There was no issue for the first few days... Then suddenly it started restarting . Radomly. First when I enabled bluetooth. Then later on it would restart when I changed a setting like Home Screen Shortcuts or Personalised the General Profile ... etc. I am using a SanDisk MicroSD 4 GB card brand new clean formatted. I have only put in music from NokiaMusic and OVI store apps. It has nothing to do with software installed. There is some really wierd problem.
..So , I went to the Nokia Care store countless times, and they re-installed and updated the phone software and gave it to me.. still the same problem.. SO then they sent it to the Delhi Head Office and I got a replacement 5230 !!! And guess what still the same problem !!! Random restarts. I feel there is some issue with the phone software or firmware or there is some issue with the phone accessing its memory card , I dont know. I have the latest firmware update for this phone V12.0.089

The perfomance is better than before, but I encountered a problem that really annoying me.I love listening to music. It's everything for me. But now the music player can't detect new music files, even it's imported from a bluetooth connection. After I save it from the inbox, sometimes it said "General : System Error". The files is inside the memory card, but can't be detected by the music player although I refresh the music library. The same thing happened when I import some music files from the computer using Nokia PC Suite. In the library, there is the artist's name or the album's name, but after I clicked it, there isn't any music files inside. What happened actually with the music player?About the memory card, I got it from the phone package. It's 2 GB, and still has approx. 130 MB free. Is it the memory card or the update?

It really is not.Consider that as I type this text from my n8, the browser has freezed twice, the phone has rebooted once. And I only have apps compatible with belle on my phone.It took 2 minutes to switch from Italian language to English!
