BB Curve :: 9300 Suddenly Started Restarting On Its Own While Texting / Calling
Oct 26, 2012
My BB is a curve 9300 that has suddenly started restarting on its own while texting, calling, left alone etc. Has been doing this the past two days about 8 times a day. Softwares are supposedly up to date. Have removed the batteries and sim and restarted, but it has not helped.
My wife's BB has suddenly (last 3 days) started discharging the battery at a silly rate full to flat within 3 hours without use. The only activity seems to be a small clock appearing in the centre of the screen intermittently which she says she hasn't noticed before. This also comes on when writing mails prior to the typed in letter appearing on the screen It has the latest soft and firmware.
I've had my blackberry for almost 2 years now and my bbm and internet suddenly started not working 2 nights ago, ive tried resteting my phone and it still doesnt work, when I try to send a message or someone tries to send me one, it just comes up with a cross and I can't connect to the internet.
My Curve's keyboard has suddenly started to malfunction, some letters double or triple up. This is especially problomatic when typing in a password or texting. The keys also seem to have a slow response time. Especially the backspace button which i have to click multiple times to get to delete things. And it seems random for which letters it doubles up, but this problem has been happening for the past 4 days.
My Blackberry Curve 9300 keeps freezing and then the screen will go white and the LED light will go red, after about 10 - 20 seconds it'll reboot. It does this ATLEAST 5 times a day. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried "reloading the OS" tried a sytstem wipe and fresh install but no luck.
Is there an app i can download for texting and calling on WIFI using my SAME number? Im not talking about textnow or textplus. You have to create a new number.I have low signal at my house and id like to be able to use an app that has my same number so people can still call me without being confused and having two numbers.
My family's three BlackBerry were perfectly well connected to my home WiFi using Netgear but suddenly can't get access any more. Why this might be and what I can do about it?
After succesfull upgrading to Symbian Belle(111.030.0609) my Nokia N8 has started self restarting. It restart more than 20 times a day, even if no application is running and all widgets are closed. I reinstalled Symbian Belle, but nothing changed. With Symbian Anna i haven't noticed that my Nokia N8 has performed self restart.
If ATT and Verizon enabled wifi calling for our devices would that mean I can send a full quality video to other phones (like imessage) without it being compressed and distorted ? I know imessage uses wifi and their own servers but Im not sure exactly how that works.
I have bought a new 5800 5 days ago and i have been using it without a sim card. There was no problem. Yesterday i started using it with my sim card and it kept restarting itself. My version is v50 and i have already tried hard and soft reset. Also no problem with memory card. I tried my friends sim on my phone and still same problem.my apps are from ovi store . On offline mode it works fine but when i start to use sim card it reboots in 3 minutes. Any ideas before a nokia care center?
My phone started restarting automatically after i put thesim cards for my first use, it was restarting for more than 10 times without shutting off. My battery percentage was 28%. I thought it is a charging issue so i charged it until the 100%.
Today (the second day), my phone was very good for all the day until the battery reach the 27% and received a phone call, then the mobile started restarting immediately until i put it on charger.
I was recently given an unlocked Blackberry Bold 9000. It is an AT&T phone, but I am using it on the T-Mobile network. For some reason, I am able to connect to WiFi, but when I do I am only able to use the internet. I am not able to use the WiFi to make calls or to send texts. My T-Mobile signal is pretty weak, so it would be nice to use the WiFi to make calls and send texts from home and work.
I am getting nuisance calls and texts from a particular landline number. Can I block these calls from coming through on my Nokia 7373? Also, can I put numbers into a group and divert all calls from that group to either voicemail or disconnect/block immediately?
This may sound silly, but there are certain times when I text a particular number that I should not be utilizing. Aside from the obvious "self control" answer, is there a way to "block" a number so my device will not let me call or text it?
When I try to block contacts on my Motorola droid turbo I cannot find anything of the sort. On previous android phones the ability has been in settings with easy to find access. But now I am unable to prevent calls and texts from reaching me.
My Nokia 5230 is turning into black/white screen & restarts automatically while trying to do tasks like msg, playing music. Done software reset..But still facing the same issue, done servicing, no of times but no use..
I came from a note 2 to the s6 and never once had a problem with the phone unlocking in my pocket but it keeps happening with my s6 and it's opening apps and texting and calling people. I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. If there was a way to stop the phone from lighting up when I get a text I don't think it would unlock but I can't find an option to turn it off.
ive changed the settings in my network according to the way they are supposed to be any sim i place in my phone does not allow callin or texting the phone is unlocked. Also went in to call settings and it says network or sim error each time i try with a diffrent sim. when i placed my sim in another samsung gs2 it was working fine i could call text surf the net etc?
I used to receive notification when I am calling someone who is on another active call. It would either be a long beep after the regular ring or it would actually say "call waiting" on my phone. My Blackberry is 9300..
My 18 months old C5.00 has suddenly started the screen flashing. All services (music Player, emails, messaging and calls seem to operate it is just annoying with the screen flashing every 2 seconds or so..
I got my Razr in March and it has been great until about a week ago, but it's started to get really hot periodically throughout the day, even when I'm not using it. Today the battery drained in 8 hours and I hardly used it.
So today, my phone alarm wakes me up at the right time, but when I unlocked it to look at the time, it's behind by 1.5 hours. When I restart my phone, initially it displays the correct time again, but after a second it changes back- here's the kicker - it still thinks I'm in the right location (St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada)
Last night after midnight I had a text conversation with a phone number I didn't know. They messaged me out of the blue saying that they knew me, but all the responses were generic so I think it was some sort of a scam... even though they didn't ask for anything. The area code for the number came from Quebec, which is... 1.5 hours behind us here. Coincidence? Have I been hacked or something?
I certainly didn't change anything today - but after booting up as I usually do every morning, I am FINALLY getting email notification & my email is being pushed to my phone when it is sleeping !! This issue has been going on (for me) for over a month.
my iPhone has just started sending texts from email account. This only happens when the text is sent to other iPhone users. Weirdly it jumps between normal text address and back to email.
