My BB is a curve 9300 that has suddenly started restarting on its own while texting, calling, left alone etc. Has been doing this the past two days about 8 times a day. Softwares are supposedly up to date. Have removed the batteries and sim and restarted, but it has not helped.

The only activity seems to be a small clock appearing in the centre of the screen intermittently which she says she hasn't noticed before. This also comes on when writing mails prior to the typed in letter appearing on the screen It has the latest soft and firmware.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Curve's keyboard has suddenly started to malfunction, some letters double or triple up. This is especially problomatic when typing in a password or texting. The keys also seem to have a slow response time. Especially the backspace button which i have to click multiple times to get to delete things. And it seems random for which letters it doubles up, but this problem has been happening for the past 4 days.

It restart more than 20 times a day, even if no application is running and all widgets are closed. Yesterday i started using it with my sim card and it kept restarting itself. My version is v50 and i have already tried hard and soft reset. Also no problem with memory card. I tried my friends sim on my phone and still same problem.my apps are from ovi store . On offline mode it works fine but when i start to use sim card it reboots in 3 minutes. Today (the second day), my phone was very good for all the day until the battery reach the 27% and received a phone call, then the mobile started restarting immediately until i put it on charger.

I was recently given an unlocked Blackberry Bold 9000. It is an AT&T phone, but I am using it on the T-Mobile network. For some reason, I am able to connect to WiFi, but when I do I am only able to use the internet. I am not able to use the WiFi to make calls or to send texts. My T-Mobile signal is pretty weak, so it would be nice to use the WiFi to make calls and send texts from home and work.

I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. Last night after midnight I had a text conversation with a phone number I didn't know. They messaged me out of the blue saying that they knew me, but all the responses were generic so I think it was some sort of a scam... even though they didn't ask for anything. The area code for the number came from Quebec, which is... 1.5 hours behind us here. Coincidence? Have I been hacked or something?
I certainly didn't change anything today - but after booting up as I usually do every morning, I am FINALLY getting email notification & my email is being pushed to my phone when it is sleeping !! This issue has been going on (for me) for over a month.
