My Blackberry Curve 9300 keeps freezing and then the screen will go white and the LED light will go red, after about 10 - 20 seconds it'll reboot. It does this ATLEAST 5 times a day. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried "reloading the OS" tried a sytstem wipe and fresh install but no luck.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy daughter has a 9300 she only got it at xmas but its starting to play up. Several times a day it completely freezes and she has to remove the battery to reset it, it has also turned itself off a few times even thought it has a full charge.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BlackBerry 9300 curve is (usually) freezing after the booting progress bar has reached the end. Occasionally, I can get it to connect to my Desktop Software. And very occasionally, after trying to connect, it goes into some unrecognisable text version of its screen. I'm able to scroll about on this and try various things, but I keep getting Java errors. After a number of these I got a message saying "AppError 601" and the phone rebooted. Hasn't shown particular signs of life yet (back to freezing at the end of its boot progress).
I did manage successfully to use the resettofactory command from the MacOS terminal to get it to wipe. However, from the text-only screen, and judging by the documentation as well, it doesn't remove apps. And I'm guessing this is app-related.I've tried booting it in safe mode, which left me with a frozen screen with text in the background and a rectangular logo screen in the foreground (there's also a screenshot in the attachments).Even if none of this rings a bell with any of you, do any of you know how to delete the apps from the command line?
i have a curve 9300 and the stupid trackpad keeps freezing :'( im getting pretty frusterated cuz i cant do anything at all with my phone and its starting to really piss me off.

I give up now, I have tried all sorts and this was a gift for my birthday a month ago, I'm quite disappointed as this was my first blackberry and I don't think I'll be buying another one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had issues with the trackpad freezing before but after a few hard resets it's always fine. 30 resets later, it still doesn't work, so I can't scroll or even press it to get to any of my applications.I've read the forum posts on finding the screw at the back, but this doesn't seem to be there for the 9300...can someone give some helpful and specific to the 9300 advice?

Softwares are supposedly up to date. Have removed the batteries and sim and restarted, but it has not helped.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been having problems with my blackberry curve 9300 for the past month, quite often now I get the timer come up on my screen and I cant do anything for sometimes hours, I have done a software update and I end all my apps every night but it still happens I've even wiped everything off my phone and still getting the same problem. This happened with my last blckberry as well but I sent that one off and your company didn't know what was wrong with it and it got sent back to be with even more problems than it did have. Is there a way of resolving this without sending it off?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI updated my brother phone to ics from 2 weeks ago and since then the phone got so laggy and slow the phone got 5-6 sec to open and it restart on its own alot. So I did a master rest and deleted everything on the phone or sd card. The phone got better and faster but again it did restart on its own even without doing heavy function on it. So I moved on and did a software repair from the pc companion .. but still the phone restart and just freeze on its own.

View 19 Replies View Relatedmy bold 9780 on telus has been freezing, and shutting down and everytime it starts back up it does the same thing and shuts down, and sometimes it doesn't even restart, the red LED light blinks 5 times on the black screen. I seriously love this phone but i hate how much trouble its been giving me. And when it is on it either says sim card error, SOS or searching for networks randomly.

It really is not.Consider that as I type this text from my n8, the browser has freezed twice, the phone has rebooted once. Sometimes it will restart itself completely. Sometimes it will turn itself off a few minutes after I unplug it in the morning. I've been getting 24 hour delays with incoming text messages* (yet I can still make calls and send texts, browse the web, etc). View 8 Replies View RelatedI had my phone outside with me while i was swimming. my phone didn't get wet at all and was never in the sun, and was covered by a towel. however, when i went to go pick it up, it was in the process of restarting. when it finally got to the tmobile screen, it vibrated, then turned off and restarted again. it's been doing this nonstop. i've tried taking the battery out, plugging the phone in, then putting the battery in. keeping it on the charger while it restarts. letting it die completely from it restarting so much. and leaving the battery out for a few hours before putting it back in. however, none of it has helped. I've looked at other forums and help sites, but it all says it has to do with a new os. i haven't downloaded anything on to my blackberry in months. i've seen things about using desktop manager, but my computer is broken right now, too. :/ for awhile, my memory card kept saying that it had an error and needed to fix it on desktop manager, but again, i haven't been able to use my computer.

Now it constantly reboots, stays on for 5 seconds and reboots again. I have tried removing the battery, sim etc, nothing works. Besides updating the OS, is there nothing else I can do, just to keep it on? I can't event keep it on long enough to upgrade the OS?
