my blackberry device was working fine until an app world updates appeared after that by one night it just got frozen so i restarted it and the bar was complete up to three quarters of it and just got frozen i left it for a while cause it sometime takes time but that was usless i tried even removing the battery for about a minute then put it back again but that didnt work andi dont know what todo now.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recenty cleared my phonne with the alt+lglg and cleared some other history stuff, and i seen a thing for memory cleaner and i enabled it and i figured that might save me some time, it prompted me before i closed it that memory cleaner would run when the phone had been rebooted and something else. but now my phone has been rebooted and it wont turn on it just keeps restarting over and over and over again. i left it over nihgt hoping it would be working in the morning and it still rebooted all night.

Today I pulled the battery after it restarted and when it started up again the battery life had come back, but it restarted itself again about 2 seconds later. Is my phone on its way out? View 8 Replies View RelatedI had my phone outside with me while i was swimming. my phone didn't get wet at all and was never in the sun, and was covered by a towel. however, when i went to go pick it up, it was in the process of restarting. when it finally got to the tmobile screen, it vibrated, then turned off and restarted again. it's been doing this nonstop. i've tried taking the battery out, plugging the phone in, then putting the battery in. keeping it on the charger while it restarts. letting it die completely from it restarting so much. and leaving the battery out for a few hours before putting it back in. however, none of it has helped. I've looked at other forums and help sites, but it all says it has to do with a new os. i haven't downloaded anything on to my blackberry in months. i've seen things about using desktop manager, but my computer is broken right now, too. :/ for awhile, my memory card kept saying that it had an error and needed to fix it on desktop manager, but again, i haven't been able to use my computer.

It does this ATLEAST 5 times a day. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried "reloading the OS" tried a sytstem wipe and fresh install but no luck.

Now it constantly reboots, stays on for 5 seconds and reboots again. I have tried removing the battery, sim etc, nothing works. Besides updating the OS, is there nothing else I can do, just to keep it on? I can't event keep it on long enough to upgrade the OS?

It is really starting to test my patients and it keeps restarting when I type to people. I've spent all day looking online and trying everything possible but nothing has worked. I've updated software, taken out the battery, left it on charge, left it off charge, taken out the memory card, wiped absolutely everything but nothing has worked. I can't make it to the o2 shop until Wednesday but would obviously prefer for it to be fixed before then.

I read to reload software using Desktop Manager, but ever since I tried doing it, it gets stuck when it's Loading Module "net_rim_cldc.cod" and right at the middle of this process the phone restarts. The phone does not unlock and restart. Instead, I have to manually unlock it and it prompts me to restart. Idk what to do. I want to have phone restarted when I don't need it. The only way to "fix" this is to take the battery out and put it back it. Two or three days later, it will freeze and I have to do it again. This process also drains my battery life. I don't have many applications installed and the ones I do have come only from Blackberry App World. I also receive an App Error 523 message. I have called my carrier and gone through the different steps they recommend to solve this problem. None work. I am very dissatisfied and have come to the conclusion that the 8520 and all Curves are garbage and I am seriously considering leaving Blackberry. This also happened to me and other friends owned 8300.

It automatically begins to back up but freezes at RMS databases 12 of 13 records. I ctrl, alt, del to end program then have to take my battery out of phone to get it to work again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop software but it just keeps freezzing. This is driving me insane as I am not technically minded.
