I deleted an app and restarted my phone like it said! then my phone booted back up and freezes and doesnt allow me to do everything! I have tried taking out the battery and restarting the phone and it will not let me do anything when it boots up!

my blackberry device was working fine until an app world updates appeared after that by one night it just got frozen so i restarted it and the bar was complete up to three quarters of it and just got frozen i left it for a while cause it sometime takes time but that was usless i tried even removing the battery for about a minute then put it back again but that didnt work andi dont know what todo now.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am on my third Blackberry 8520 and keep having the same problem. Every two or three days it freezes. The only way to "fix" this is to take the battery out and put it back it. Two or three days later, it will freeze and I have to do it again. This process also drains my battery life. I don't have many applications installed and the ones I do have come only from Blackberry App World. I also receive an App Error 523 message. I have called my carrier and gone through the different steps they recommend to solve this problem. None work. I am very dissatisfied and have come to the conclusion that the 8520 and all Curves are garbage and I am seriously considering leaving Blackberry. This also happened to me and other friends owned 8300.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've read through other posts and have tried everything - hope you can help. BBerry suddenly not allowing me to create SMS messages, and won't delete those that are there. I tried removing the battery, no luck. I tried the desktop manager, but it says the database for SMS is unavailable and confirgured for wireless config (etc) only. I really don't want to hand this to my IT department to fix (a couple of embarrassing texts on there!).Any clues how I can access and delete, or get it working again?

It automatically begins to back up but freezes at RMS databases 12 of 13 records. I ctrl, alt, del to end program then have to take my battery out of phone to get it to work again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop software but it just keeps freezzing. This is driving me insane as I am not technically minded.

I've tried this at least 10 times and leaving it for up to 3 hours but it still won't turn on. After some internet researched I've tried rebooting it though the blackberry desktop manager, though the app loader. Which will work up to the point where you select applications and they are all grayed out giving no other option but to cancel. I have tried this over 10 times too. I have also tried wiping and restarting though JL_CMder but that won;t work because my phone can't connect to my computer for longer than 3 seconds. Please can someone help me because I've ran out of ideas? The term for this problem around some forums seems to be that the phone in 'Nuked'

View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded YM last night, and when it was done downloading, I clicked on the YM icon, nothing happened. My BB just freezed, tried battery pull couple of time, nothing happened.
So, today I got a nerve to upgrade the OS from 4.6 to the latest released by my carrier 5.0.0.461. Upgrading was successful, but the YM was still not working, it just freezed my blackberry.
I even tried JMLcmdr to wipe al the whole thing on my BB and reinstalled the latest OS, still the YM problem persists.
What should I do now ? Was there something I did wrong while upgrading YM at the first place ?
It freezes after the blackberry screen with the line loading on it, it gets to the main screen then freezing a minute later and i have to reboot again taking the battery out... and again and again

If I enter a password no cursor appears and after a minute it says password incorrect. I have connected to device manager and the password is correct on the pc. I've noticed that the Aa symbol (caps locks) flashes on and off on when starting up. I have googled the problem with no success. I have tried a battery pull with and without sim card. Ctrl alt delete also failed. I have connected to device manager and deleted an app to see if frees phone up but no joy.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my Curve 9330 in Oct 2010, it started freezing about 4 months ago, once every few weeks, over time it has gotten worse, so now it freezes every few minutes. Some freezes are "screen shots" where the time is off by a few minutes like its been frozen about 7 or 8 min and the cursor won't move, and some are freezes with the timer like its waiting on something. It takes me about 30 min to do something (text, email, facebook, anything) that should be a quick 2-3 min check. I have taken the battery out and that works for about an hour, then it goes back to freezing. I have done shift+alt+del to reset and that works for about an hour. I updated my OS, it stopped for about 3 or 4 days then started back up. I have checked to Application free space, there's 158.6MB. I do use my phone a lot, mostly quick check of things throughout the day.
