after trying to reboot my Blackberry Curve 8520 it gets stuck on about 3/4 of the way though the loading bar. I've tried this at least 10 times and leaving it for up to 3 hours but it still won't turn on. After some internet researched I've tried rebooting it though the blackberry desktop manager, though the app loader. Which will work up to the point where you select applications and they are all grayed out giving no other option but to cancel. I have tried this over 10 times too. I have also tried wiping and restarting though JL_CMder but that won;t work because my phone can't connect to my computer for longer than 3 seconds. Please can someone help me because I've ran out of ideas? The term for this problem around some forums seems to be that the phone in 'Nuked'
This phone made an update on the Facebook Messenger and asked if i would reboot. After accepting the reboot the device freezes at the startup (The white bar reaches approx. 60% and freezes) i kept removing the battery but i keeps on freezing...
I downloaded my lookout virus scanner.Worked great.Did an upgrade from BBapp world and after reboot it starts and the application permission pops up and everything is frozen. My animated screensaver is moving in the background and if I press the alt or caps key the symbol comes on and off but nothing moves and I cant do anything. The phone signal never turns on and the time freezes to when it first starts. I have pulled the battery atleast 20 times and have done the alt caps del reset a bunch too. I email the company of the program and filed a help request but it being the weekend I think Im screwed with them. Can anyone help me out how to get around this I just wanna get my phone back this has been all afternoon.
Is there something wrong with my BB 9700 software? It freezes on the start up bar at about 55% of the bar and when I take the battery out it just does the same thing the next time. What can I do? Is it over for my phone?
My blackberry freezes at about 55%-65% of the startup bar for a long time, everytime I take out the battery and restart it, it; it freezes at the same spot.
I have an XPRT that I obtained from Sprint 30 days ago. Like phone but having issues with screen freezing up when phone turned on. I travel and must turn off phone when getting on plane. Once I get off, I turn on XPRT and it appears to boot up but then freezes or the screen goes blank. I pull the battery, re-insert battery, and power on. Same thing will happen again so I pull battery and go through same cycle. Usually after two cycles, the phone is fine but it can take 4 or more. I took the phone back to the Sprint store where it was purchase and it happened to the tech while he was trouble-shooting this problem. He did not have an answer and he looked at widgets and aps and saw nothing unusual. All apps or widgets are either from Android market or Motorola. Phone has been charged using Motorola supplied charger. Sprint store took back this phone and game me a new one. Seemed to work ok but just go back from trip and same issues. I turned the phone off last evening and turned it on this morning. It would boot up but took 4 cycles to quit either freezing or blank screen. This is getting to be a painful solution. I do have the latest software installed.
I have a Nokia 6303i.I was deleting my messages (more than 800) , and somewhere on the middle of the proccess it froze.I removed the battery and tried to turn it on again (with and without SIM), it just shows the home screen, works for 5 seconds (sometimes not) and it freezes. What do I need to do.Any way to hard reset or ...
I forgot to saywhen it turns on this message appears"Supportive file. Nothing to display."
I tried to reset it using *#7780#, but it freezes while reseting.
Whenever I try to reset my blackberry it will freeze at 75% and the screen will go off and it will do it all over again, when I connect my bb to desktop software it will come up with a message saying the device software needs updating during the update it says "reconnecting to JVM" and the desktop software will disconnect my blackberry is there anyway to stop this from happening.
I'm having problems with my daughters curve when trying to turn it on. When I turn it on it take 5 mins or more to load and then freezes when I get to password screen. If I enter a password no cursor appears and after a minute it says password incorrect. I have connected to device manager and the password is correct on the pc. I've noticed that the Aa symbol (caps locks) flashes on and off on when starting up. I have googled the problem with no success. I have tried a battery pull with and without sim card. Ctrl alt delete also failed. I have connected to device manager and deleted an app to see if frees phone up but no joy.
I have a Curve 8520. I installed a new theme today. It was the Beautiful Sunset in motion theme. Since then, when my phone reboots, the theme with its moving water appears, but nothing else works on the phone. None of the keys work and the screen display, other than the moving water, is frozen too. I have tried taking out the battery, waiting and then rebooting. All that happens is that the theme returns, and is stuck again. I have attached it to my laptop, but the Blackberry Desktop Software can't connect with the phone. I tried the "Start Run" App Loader, but got a message telling me the "Location is not available".
blackberry curve 8250 on orange uk.it was working fine, until a few days ago it just showed SOS where the reception should be.the phone was an upgrade from orange.
i was told to get it unlocked so i purchased an unlock code but for some odd reason everytime i insert the code it freezes the handset.i have tried so many time but nothing, i still have 10 tries left.
Earlier today after I woke up, I was just gonna check something on my phone, when I was met with several errors saying that this and that programmed had stopped working. I chose the option "ok" on all of them because the other option report would not really get me anywhere. The thing was these errors kept coming repeating themselves (same apps getting errors repeatedly).
So after 10 min of just pressing ok on these errors I decided to reboot my phone, but when I came to the startup it stops/freezes on the SONY EXPERIA display. I can't trun it off with the on/off button, so I searched everywhere on the internet about this issue but none of the classic hold volume down + volume up + on/off button to turn it off gets me past the freeze after it goes off.
my new BB got hanged everytime i on it. it stuck at the startup and the loading aint moving. i just bought it but i cant return it back to the stupid shop. i was told that it maybe the software problem which i need to reinstall back. but i tried three times and it still not working.
I am having problems switching my BB on.. I have had it charging on the computer and mains and it doesn't switch on.When it is connected to the computer it will make the USB connection noise then switch off.I have had a solid red light come up and switch off as well as the battery dead and battery charging however nothing is working!I have connected it to the desk top divice manager again nothing! i really don't want to lose all my files!
I was using my blackberry on low battery, listening to voice notes on blackberry messenger (another user was sending some series of voice messages, one after another), when my other phone rang I've pressed the pause button to answer my other device. When I came back to my device, I noticed it was totally dead. I assumed it ran out of battery, but after 3 hours plugged to the wall charger, I still have no sign of life from the phone, not even the led light turned on.So I unplugged it and try to connect via USB to the notebook, no answer either.
i have a blackberry curve 9360 after running a software update my phone wont turn on .I have tried removing and replacing the battery the red led lights up for about 5 secs but screen stays black and wont turn on.
My bb frozen up this morning so I turned it off and took out the battery, now when ever I put the battery back the little red light just comes on and the startup screen keeps reloading and that's about it.
On initial bootup, after unintalling some apps, I now have 22 MB. Is this a reasonable amount to have a Curve 8330 running 5.0.0.438? I have been told OS 5.0 is really too much for the Curve to handle, so want to make it more manageable, as I don't want to go back to 4.5.According to BlackBerry.com, the 8330 has 96 MB RAM. If I'm coming up with 22 MB at initial bootup, that means 5.0 is using 74 MB. Is that normal?
Does anyone know when the OFFICIAL 5.0 update for tmobile comes out, i see the leaked versions online but I don't want to risk it. Right now I'm running. 4.6.1.259.
If anyone out there could lend me a helping hand with this. Well, im not a very heavy BB user but ive never had my batt go dead on me but it happened! i totally couldnt turn my phone on until i put in my charger. Then it happens randomly whereby my phone will heat up and the battery drops 5% every 10mins or so! until it shuts off!! It happened once right after i fully charged my phone and it shut off within the next hour.Anyone knows whats happening?? i suspected whether it was any of my installed apps that are draining my batt, so i shut off everything! i mean no msn no foursquare no twitter only emails are on but yet it still happens!!Help please? i hope its just the batt thats screwed not my phone.
