Jul 6, 2012I upgraded the software on my 9360 last night and now it won't start up. It keeps sticking at loading java.I can't even start it up in safe mode!

Jun 8, 2012i have a blackberry curve 9360 after running a software update my phone wont turn on .I have tried removing and replacing the battery the red led lights up for about 5 secs but screen stays black and wont turn on.

Feb 21, 2012I bought my BB Curve 9360 last Friday. Today, I installed an app, which turned out to be not-working, so I deleted it right away. Then, the device asked for a reboot - until now it is rebooting.What I see is the Blackberry logo, and the loading bar, accompanied by the red LED in the right upper corner flickering. There is no getting past that screen - once it loads completely, the screen goes dark, and it starts all over again.So inspired by similar problems posted here&in other tech support websites, I decided to download the Desktop Manager and try to update the OS. This is where I got hit by a second time - although it is connected via USB cable,the desktop manager won't recognize the phone as connected, the phone won't show up a selection screen as to what I want to do (storage/sync... etc.) Yet it asked for my device password, which I entered correctly, and could choose the Update option. But while downloading the update, it suddenly stops and tells me to either check my internet connection - which is UP - or try it again later.

May 12, 2010I've got a BB BOLD 9700 and I woke up today for it to have an all-white screen, so I turned it off via battery as it was unresponsive and now it won't load past 3/4 of the load-up screen... does anybody have any ideas of what I can do?I've looked around on other forums with advice on what to do with a 'nuked' BB, but they all say you've got to have a Windows PC and I've got a Mac!

Mar 27, 2010For a long time AT&T nee Cingular has locked me out of their MEdia (AT&T) Mall, and prevented me from running desirable apps by signing them with a "secret" certificate only available on their branded phones.Well, thanks to a2uploader and the recent acquisition of a locked AT&T phone I have been able to snag these Preferred and Trusted Java signing root certificates. As well as the entire AT&T customization package, which gives me a good template to play with my own if I so desire. (As an aside, I can also now download from the AT&T Mall using a Firefox add-on which allows me to spoof a particular supported phone's User-Agent string.)I digress. When I sent these certificates to my unlocked K850i it places them in the Trusted Cert store rather than the Java Cert store and the apps still have problems running and fail to install using the signed JAD. I have not tried it, but I assume my K790a will behave the same way.Now, the XML which defines the AT&T customizations references the certificates as well as the proper store location for them. Is this my only way to force a cert into the Java store? This also leads into how can I install client certificates?

Dec 16, 2011I was using my blackberry on low battery, listening to voice notes on blackberry messenger (another user was sending some series of voice messages, one after another), when my other phone rang I've pressed the pause button to answer my other device. When I came back to my device, I noticed it was totally dead. Apr 30, 2012after trying to reboot my Blackberry Curve 8520 it gets stuck on about 3/4 of the way though the loading bar. I've tried this at least 10 times and leaving it for up to 3 hours but it still won't turn on. After some internet researched I've tried rebooting it though the blackberry desktop manager, though the app loader. Which will work up to the point where you select applications and they are all grayed out giving no other option but to cancel. I have tried this over 10 times too. I have also tried wiping and restarting though JL_CMder but that won;t work because my phone can't connect to my computer for longer than 3 seconds. Please can someone help me because I've ran out of ideas? The term for this problem around some forums seems to be that the phone in 'Nuked'

May 24, 2012The button on the top right of iphone 4 is sticking. The phone was NOT dropped. It is in an otter box. Even after taking the protective cover off, the button is next to impossible to push in. Does this need to be serviced by an apple store? I always used that button after using my phone to try to shut the screen down to save the battery. Will it use up the battery faster now that I can't push it in?

BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Phone Frozen At Startup
Jun 18, 2010I downloaded my lookout virus scanner.Worked great.Did an upgrade from BBapp world and after reboot it starts and the application permission pops up and everything is frozen. My animated screensaver is moving in the background and if I press the alt or caps key the symbol comes on and off but nothing moves and I cant do anything. The phone signal never turns on and the time freezes to when it first starts. I have pulled the battery atleast 20 times and have done the alt caps del reset a bunch too. I email the company of the program and filed a help request but it being the weekend I think Im screwed with them. Can anyone help me out how to get around this I just wanna get my phone back this has been all afternoon.

Apr 3, 2011I have just updated my blackberry phone from the blackberry pearl series to the curve 9330 phone. On the pearl I was able to download the backberry shortcuts for the major league baseball teams that I follow. On the curve that is running the OS 6.0 system when I download the same shortcuts and try to run them I get the java.lang error for anything dealing with baseball. My carrier is verizon. If I type the name of the team in the browser in the long form e.g. raysbaseball.com I have no problem going to the team home page. I just get the error when I try to use the shortcut. Could someone tell me what to do. I have java script enabled in the browser.

Jun 7, 2011A couple of months ago the What's App application required an update. I updated it and ever since my phone has steadily had more and more issues. First, I kept getting this uncaught error message, shortly thereafter the 2 email accounts (both gmail) that I have linked to the account disappeared. The message icon shows that I have messages, but icons not there (I have tried the show all option). At one point the message icon started exponentially adding the number of messages until it got up to over 86,000. When I reboot the phone it goes back down and then steadily increases again. usually though it's more to 400 - 500 rather then tens of thousands. I have been trying to install updates and do a wipe of the BB so that I can start from scratch, unfortunately the application loader is unable to back up data. The desktop manager is unable to connect to the blackberry and indicates that an upgrade is required. I have tried doing the upgrade both directly from the phone and connected to the desktop manager, but nothing seems to work. If I try to upgrade the software directly from the BB, I get to the start download button and when I click, nothing happens. I have removed all applications except bberry app world and one game that I play, Pixelated Plus. Still nothing.

Feb 15, 2012It started with my message folder disappearing, or me deleting it without knowing. I couldnt find it and it ended up on my screen somehow. Now the problem is this message "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException", , and this when I go to the message folder. The message folder is empty and I can send messages, but not recieve them. I see the lille arrow in the corner, meaning im recieving something, but nothing happens... And when i send a text it doesnt show the text as send, the folder is just empty, so it doesnt save draft either.. Ive tried reeboting and changing the theme, nothing works. Should i wipe it? cause i dont think i can reinstall os then, bcause i dont have internet on my bbI read [URL], and guess that I what I am supposed to do? but I do not understand it all. I understand the words, but something like desktop manager and installing the device software, where to find this?! I dont have a USB either, is this really necessary?

Oct 7, 2011Even after removing and reinstalling the battery my return key doesn't work or menu key won't open up or phone turn off key doesn't disconnect phone call. This is happening frequently even after taking out the battery and reinstalling.
Sometimes those keys work easily and sometimes they don't work at all and I have to remove the battery and reinsert before it goes back to home or anywhere else.
