Is there something wrong with my BB 9700 software? It freezes on the start up bar at about 55% of the bar and when I take the battery out it just does the same thing the next time. What can I do? Is it over for my phone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThat's the problem basically. I've tried pulling battery out, connecting it through Desktop Charger. I get the solid red light, then it starts - loads up to about 10% and turns off again.
View 2 Replies View Relatedafter trying to reboot my Blackberry Curve 8520 it gets stuck on about 3/4 of the way though the loading bar. I've tried this at least 10 times and leaving it for up to 3 hours but it still won't turn on. After some internet researched I've tried rebooting it though the blackberry desktop manager, though the app loader. Which will work up to the point where you select applications and they are all grayed out giving no other option but to cancel. I have tried this over 10 times too. I have also tried wiping and restarting though JL_CMder but that won;t work because my phone can't connect to my computer for longer than 3 seconds. Please can someone help me because I've ran out of ideas? The term for this problem around some forums seems to be that the phone in 'Nuked'

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an XPRT that I obtained from Sprint 30 days ago. Like phone but having issues with screen freezing up when phone turned on. I travel and must turn off phone when getting on plane. Once I get off, I turn on XPRT and it appears to boot up but then freezes or the screen goes blank. I pull the battery, re-insert battery, and power on. Same thing will happen again so I pull battery and go through same cycle. Usually after two cycles, the phone is fine but it can take 4 or more. I took the phone back to the Sprint store where it was purchase and it happened to the tech while he was trouble-shooting this problem. He did not have an answer and he looked at widgets and aps and saw nothing unusual. All apps or widgets are either from Android market or Motorola. Phone has been charged using Motorola supplied charger. Sprint store took back this phone and game me a new one. Seemed to work ok but just go back from trip and same issues. I turned the phone off last evening and turned it on this morning. It would boot up but took 4 cycles to quit either freezing or blank screen. This is getting to be a painful solution. I do have the latest software installed.

I tried to reset it using *#7780#, but it freezes while reseting.
Earlier today after I woke up, I was just gonna check something on my phone, when I was met with several errors saying that this and that programmed had stopped working. I chose the option "ok" on all of them because the other option report would not really get me anywhere. The thing was these errors kept coming repeating themselves (same apps getting errors repeatedly).
So after 10 min of just pressing ok on these errors I decided to reboot my phone, but when I came to the startup it stops/freezes on the SONY EXPERIA display. I can't trun it off with the on/off button, so I searched everywhere on the internet about this issue but none of the classic hold volume down + volume up + on/off button to turn it off gets me past the freeze after it goes off.
Recently my battery gets to 40% and the phone switches off. Once plugged into the charger it re boots- the battery icon is then red and re charges. I've bought a new battery and this does exactly the same thing? I've got a Bold 9700 and not doing anything different than the last year! The battery has to be charged every day, but I do use apps a lot. Its the battery bar status that concerns me... Why does it suddenly go off at 40% with no warning and re charge at 0%?

I was receiving multiple texts and my phone froze with the indicator light still blinking. I pulled the battery, and now my phone loads up to 3/4 of the way and just freezes. I tried a soft reboot, and multiple battery pulls nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm a new bb user, which has patiently waited 3weeks to get my new 9700.- which arrived today BUT, when I turn it on the progress line goes all the way to the right, and then nothing else happens. It's just a black screen with the bb logo on it. Tried to downgrade the OP, but still the same thing happens.
Called the web-shop I bought it from, and they say I have to return it, and wait for them to have a look at it..usually 2-4 weeks.Is there anything I can do?

When I go to my contacts book - to "new contact" and click to add -- nothing happens - it's as if I didn't click it - or else it freezes up and I have to do a hard reboot. The USB connection worked perfectly 10 minutes ago before I upgraded to 6. View 2 Replies View RelatedRandomly, my BB will start sending/recieving data (the rx/tx arrows constantly changing back and forth) and the entire phone will lock up. None of the buttons work, it wont respond to anything for about 2-4 mins. Then everything returns to normal. I notice it most in the facebook app or Viigo, mostly because thats when im scrolling a lot. Occasionally, the last button pressed will register after it wakes up from its coma, ie, if i press the back button when its frozen, and nothing after that, when it wakes up, it will *sometimes* register the button. I never get any messages or anything when its doing this.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo yesterday my phone got cut off (forgot to make a payment. Sue me). I called ATT, made the payment and got the phone up and running. Problem was, my blackberry browser, ubertwitter and Facebook didn't work. But for some reason my opera mini did work. I called ATT and they did whatever it is they do and my phone worked again. This morning my phone froze. It stayed on the main screen and didn't do anything else. I did a battery pull and got the same thing. Now I can't even do a wipe because the phone stops responding when it gets to the main screen and my desktop manager doesn't recognize the phone when I plug it in. Can anyone help? I'm starting to wish I had just bought a damned iPhone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI did a forum search for my problem, and couldn't find an answer for my specific issue, which is this:My AT&T 9700 worked great until about a month ago, when it started to freeze while I was text messaging. Looking through the forums here, I noticed that it was happening when I had large numbers of saved texts, and I started deleting the threaded messages so that I was never over about 20-25 texts per person. That solved the problem for 2 weeks.Last week, I started deleting all text messages beyond 15 texts, total, and still I have the issue. I just had the phone freeze and refuse to allow me into the threaded portion of the text after just 3 texts (2 from my wife and 1 from me)!Does anyone else have this problem? I have done the following as well, in order:

I have a Bold 9700 upgraded to OS 6 about 1 year ago, in the last 2 - 3 months my phone seems to freeze constantly and the only way to stop it is to pull the battery. Another issue I'm having is that I get an "application memory low" message about twice to three times a day asking me to delete applications, I am now down to two applications on my phone....a banking app and a music app....and I'm still getting the message.

Every time my phone reaches around 10% it instantly drops to 3 or 4% then instantly after that to 1%... So basically I have to charge my phone before it gets to 10%. Not that big of a deal, but it is annoying not being able to do anything with it when it's at low battery and I'm away from a charger.
I'm trying to charge my phone before it gets that low from now on so I won't shorten my battery's lifespan so I can't comment on if the issue persist, but I will say that the calibration has made the battery to act less weird as far as dropping fast in certain areas but not others.
I forgot the password for my Iphone 4 and have managed to disable the phone. I now have a screen which tells me to connect to itunes. When I connect to itunes it tells me I need to restore the phone, during restore it gets to 99% then starts again. this happened twice and basically goes back to the start, gets to 99% then starts again. I have no idea what to do now, I have tried a phone repair shop and when he connected my phone to itunes he got 2 or 3 error messages popping up and wouldn't let him do anything. I am able to answer calls, but can't get into the phone to do anything. When I receive a call or a text it comes up on the home screen with the contact name. This leads me to believe that the restore has completely failed as I would have lost my contacts, is this right?

I just got iphone 3gs from a friend. Changed the battery at a authorized workshop but have a problem. My iphone dies always then it reaches 73%. Claims battery suddenly empty. Running 5.1. Is this a known glitch or something?
