IPhone :: Restore Gets To 99 Percent And Then Starts Again

I forgot the password for my Iphone 4 and have managed to disable the phone. I now have a screen which tells me to connect to itunes. When I connect to itunes it tells me I need to restore the phone, during restore it gets to 99% then starts again. this happened twice and basically goes back to the start, gets to 99% then starts again. I have no idea what to do now, I have tried a phone repair shop and when he connected my phone to itunes he got 2 or 3 error messages popping up and wouldn't let him do anything. I am able to answer calls, but can't get into the phone to do anything. When I receive a call or a text it comes up on the home screen with the contact name. This leads me to believe that the restore has completely failed as I would have lost my contacts, is this right?

I just got iphone 3gs from a friend. Changed the battery at a authorized workshop but have a problem. My iphone dies always then it reaches 73%. Claims battery suddenly empty. Running 5.1. Is this a known glitch or something?

My iPhone 4, since updating to the most recent software, had started crashing when it gets down to 50% and 50% on the dot every time. Now it seems to crash whenever it feels like it but never will it get below 50%. The only way the phone turns back on is when it is connected to a power source once again. I don't even get the dead battery signal when trying to re-boot or anything. Now it would sound like the issue is my battery but I booted up my 3GS with the latest update and same exact thing happens. The battery drains from 100%-90% @ regular speed and from 90%-70% the thing really starts moving quick and from 70%-50% it's just a guess as to when it will die in that region. The issue is such a deal that it's basically rendering my phone useless. If I wanted to leave a phone plugged into my wall I would still have a house phone.

I have a problem with my iPhone 3G It was working so well yesterday, however the past 4 days every time it gets down to 30ish% battery it turns itself off. Last night I put it on charge, looked at it after an hour and it was stuck on a black screen with a red low battery logo, i reset it and it went back to it over and over. I tried to put it into DFU mode and it worked, itunes then recognized it and I tried to restore it on my mac however half way through it said the iphone disconnected, I tried it again same thing. Is this the battery needing to be replaced?

iPhone 4s battery stuck at 100 percent. How do I get it back to normal? Ever since the update, I am having issues with the battery. Phone shuts down while it still shows 100 percent battery life. Normally not a big deal because I don't use it all the time but lately an issue when I'm working in Manhattan and it shuts down while in the middle of conversation or emailing. I can't go around charging it every hour wondering what my battery life really is.

Since updating my Iphone 4S to 5.1.1. I lose about 2% of battery every 5 minutes. Before I updated I could go the whole day without a charge. Now I must leave it plugged in at my desk all day. I double click the home button and close out apps when I'm done, so I have nothing running in the background.

My wife's 4S has been running down about 50% overnight in standby so I decided to investigate it. The basic problem is that it is showing a usage figure of almost the same as the standby figure while in standby indicating that something is running. After trying all sorts of things (including a restore), in desperation today I restored her backup to my 4S and my backup to her 4S. The problem remains with hers which is really strange indicating a hardware problem, but the fact it is showing too much usage would indicate software.

My iPhone battery looses 1% every 2 minutes so I'm wondering if that's normal? I've only used for 3 hours and 1 min and I'm at 44%. Is this normal? And if not how do I fix it to improve battery life. I only users my phone to txt and go Facebook that's about it.

I think I will need to bring this to an Apple store for investigations, but would anyone have any hints to what might be causing this issue? For about two days, when I shut down the phone, it immediately starts itself up. Ironically when its plugged into my MBP using the USB cable and I shut it down then, it will remain powered off. The minute I remove the USB cable phone starts up. I performed a full restore, including DFU mode and nothing. Secondly, the battery is draining at an incredible pace. i.e I charge it at night to 100%, than by morning (7 to 8 hours later), its at 70%. I have maybe 3 or 4 notifications running with Bluetooth off. I can't imagine this being a sudden issue especially where in the past the phone can be in standby for days.
To put it shortly, is it a deffective connector or battery? Either way I am in Warranty mode till Oct 2012, so hopefully can get a replacement if faulty hardware.

When using facetime on my iphone 4s the camera starts flashing on and off and then eventually goes black. The only way to get the picture back is to switch to the rear camera and then back to the front camera and then it starts working again and then after a while it starts flashing again!

For the past few days, in the middle of a phone call, iTunes will begin playing and drop my call. I will then have to stop the music and begin my call again. The iTunes app was not open any of the times this occurred. Â

I love to run and use my Iphone 4S for tracking and hearing podcasts during the run. But always after about 6 miles my Iphone drives me crazy. Voice control starts and interruptsthe podcast and asks me something. Then I have to stop running, turn it off and after some hundrets again voice control interrupts again. My solution now is to stop my podcast and I finish unhappy in the middle of my podcast.

When I turn my phone off it starts to play whatever song it feels like that I have installed. Like right when I turn my phone off it'll start to play. I have to have the volume all the way down so it doesnt start to play music anymore.If I pause it from the lockscreen it won't start back up which is good. its done this before and stopped but now it's gone on for a week or 2 and it's just really annoying.

I was texting a friend and suddenly the screen starts to fade black. I tried to turn it back on but it just stayed black. But when i want to put it on vibrate, it vibrates or when i want to charge it, it makes that sound effect when you plug it in. So it is still working but the screen isn't.
