View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my 8520 for about 18 months and it has worked fine. Recently, I downloaded an app from app world and then all strange things started to happen. (I am not sure if the problem is related). It would freeze with a white screen or just go black and if I try to reboot it will start up and then freeze again. at first It will only reboot properly if plugged into my desktop. I tried restoring the OS and that didnt help. Now, if it is plugged into the pc or wall charger it just keeps rebooting over and over. The phone works when it wants and sometimes it doesnt. It doesnt work for a whole day.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with my daughters curve when trying to turn it on. When I turn it on it take 5 mins or more to load and then freezes when I get to password screen. If I enter a password no cursor appears and after a minute it says password incorrect. I have connected to device manager and the password is correct on the pc. I've noticed that the Aa symbol (caps locks) flashes on and off on when starting up. I have googled the problem with no success. I have tried a battery pull with and without sim card. Ctrl alt delete also failed. I have connected to device manager and deleted an app to see if frees phone up but no joy.
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday evening I updated my blackberry curve 8520, it then needed re booting and since then it has frozen, the screen and the keys? Was working perfectly before with no problems. I have taken battery/sim card out but still nothing. I have also tried to use my blackberry desktop but it is still trying to connect.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Curve 9300 regularly reverts to a screen saying 'connecting to desktop'. The phone then 'freezes' on that screen and I cannot do anything and the only solution is to open the back, remove and replace the battery and wait for the phone to reboot. This seems to do the trick but it's happening quite frequently which is a major nuisance, particularly since the reboot process takes such an age. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy bb curve 8900 freezes with a permanent white screen No icons no indication nothing I have to take it off by removing the battery then when i put back the battery i must put the phone to charge or else the white screen will appear again while rebooting?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo a few weeks ago my blackberry stopped working. I was on it one day on bbm and it died so when I got home I charged it up then went to turn it on but after 2 seconds of the rebooting screen a battery with a red cross appeared giving me the indication my battery was low I let the rebooting process continue but at about three quarters of the way through it froze, so I pulled the battery out after leaving it too freeze for over an hour and carried on doing that. It didn't work a few weeks later I tried it again it worked but then today it ran out of charge and when I tried to turn it on it does the same thing even know I have 100% charge as my other blackberry (which can only use facebook for some reason) said I had 100% in the status option screen.
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy screen froze on my 1020. None of the "screen" buttons would work but the physical side buttons would. I rebooted a couple of times (depressing the power and volume down). It worked once but then froze up again. Taking out the sim and putting it back in seems to reboot the phone, which works, sometimes, but freezes up again as soon as the screen lock is activated.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI downloaded an ap-monitoring ap that sends an alarm when aps are operating over a selected percentage of CPU and "Contacts New Storage" is constantly alarming at sometimes over 70%. The main problem is when I am in the Text Messaging screen it completely freezes before I can open a conversation. Also, if I want to start a new text conversation the To: field won't let me copy from my contacts or even type in a number. the phone also freezes when I am trying to look up a number in the contacts to make a call and while I am on a call I can't hit end sometimes. There is also an over-all sluggishness to the phone but I think that is because of the low volume CPU. I am upgraded to 2.1. I have tried to reboot. And reset the phone completely. I wonder if there is a way I can turn off or delete motoblur and just use the android?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had this happen approximately 6 times now, and the last two times it happened, today and yesterday, I noticed that it does it just as I hit send on a text message. The screen just goes black and then the apple logo comes up 10 seconds later, like it just rebooted itself. Has anyone else experienced this? My wife has one too and said it hasn't happened to her, but maybe she just hasn't noticed it.

I Have been using 5s for 7 months now, Couple of months back my iphone rebooted quite frequently for 2 days with bluescreen and reboots stopped without any troubleshooting done. And suddenly a week back it again started rebooting , sometimes I was not even able to power ON using hard resets[power+home buttons]. After a while if I press power button,it gets ON. When I consulted Apple support, I was asked to restore the iphone. I did it and the phone was stable for 2 days. Today it rebooted again with following identifier.

The screen on the phone will go black. I do not know if its an application but I have talked to other EVO 3D users and this never happens to them. I already had exchanged my phone but it keeps happening. I do not know if it has to do with something I had downloaded from the market..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.1 on it. I encountered two problems after updating to iOS 8.0.Â
1. My screen freezes at Phone App which causes home button to stop working, luckily i can make calls on the phone app. Lock screen works but swipe screen and password gets disabled which directly opens phone app if I lock and unlock phone with lock button. Phone works after I switch it off and restart. I tried restoring phone couple of times but in vain. Same problem persists.Â
2. When I make or attend calls with my EarPods on and press lock button, phone automatically restarts.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Torch since early January, and there is no water or physical damage to it. Everything's been working spectacularly until today. This morning I changed the security settings for the AT&T Live TV app and the Pandora app. It then asked for a reboot, which I allowed. The phone turns off, back on to the reboot screen (with the BB logo and "BlackBerry") along with the reboot loading bar on the bottomThe thing is, the bar loads completely and that's it, it stays frozen there Nothing else loads. I took out the battery and retried. Several times. Now I am just letting it sit there, load bar completely loaded, having done nothing but be frozen for about an hour now.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have purchased my phone about 2 weeks back, did not face any problems at all. Untill today, I was just messaging with my phone, than decided to run to some other errands. When I got back it had been shut off. When I rebooted it, the red led turns on for a moment and the device starts up, the bar though just stops and freezes a quarter of the way though. Tryed rebooting a couple of times.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I bought my AT&T Bold 9700 last month when it first came out, and have had no troubles with it so far. I've tried searching for a thread like this but haven't found any.My 9700 just randomly "rebooted" this morning, where the screen goes black and the red led light turns on for a couple of seconds. This has happened to me before on my old 9000, where after it would then start up again. Nearing the time when I replaced it, it would do it quite frequently (and to think it just started getting really bad AFTER the 1 year warranty on it expired!). So back to the 9700, the progress bar that comes up when you're starting up the device would then come up, and sometimes load for about half an inch, sometimes only up to an eighth, before the whole thing would start again - the screen would turn black, the red led turns on, and the progress bar would come up again.I pulling the battery out for a few minutes and putting it back in but its still doing it. I then pulled it out for about an hour and its still doing it again.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI tried to hard reset my LG G3 device. Following the Volume Down + Power Button instructions, everything was looking well. I confirmed to reset the phone and since then, the phone's been rebooting itself automatically without moving further than the LG logo screen.
Turns on, LG Logo and turns off immediately after. I tried taking out the battery but once I turn the device back on, the process keeps happening.
