OK so basically my blackberry curve 8520 will turn on fine, but it keeps restarting itself at random times when I play music or if I am half way through writing a message to someone, if it restarts when I am playing music it makes a funny loud noise. It is really starting to test my patients and it keeps restarting when I type to people. Sometimes the blackberry will go onto a white screen before restarting, sometimes it will just freeze and go off, then sometimes it will just go off with a flashing red light. I don't know what is wrong with it and I cannot find another person with he same person
For the past three weeks my BlackBerry Curve 8520 has been restarting itself. I have noticed it only does this while I'm playing music or on the internet. For example when I try to change a song the loading clock will appear on my screen, and then my screen will go white, my phone will make a strange sound and then restart.
My phone (blackberry curve 8520) keeps on restarting...i just see the blackberry sign and the loading bar and then it restarts over and over again..i just got this phone and i need it to keep in touch with my wife abroad..i just got it 2 weeks ago..
i just got my 8520 last aug 23. it was all working fine, until last night i was supposed to charge it. it charged at first then it turned off. it didnt turned on for a while. i took off the charger then it restarted..everytime i tried to charge it, it just keeps on restarting. no error message at all.
I recenty cleared my phonne with the alt+lglg and cleared some other history stuff, and i seen a thing for memory cleaner and i enabled it and i figured that might save me some time, it prompted me before i closed it that memory cleaner would run when the phone had been rebooted and something else. but now my phone has been rebooted and it wont turn on it just keeps restarting over and over and over again. i left it over nihgt hoping it would be working in the morning and it still rebooted all night.
My device is pw protected. I schedule my quickpull to restart my phone and I gave it the pw so it can by pass that. However, it does not do that. The phone does not unlock and restart. Instead, I have to manually unlock it and it prompts me to restart. Idk what to do. I want to have phone restarted when I don't need it. As in when I wake up and hop in shower.
my curve randomly turned itself off this morning (battery at 90%) and will not turn back on. I have removed the battery and tried to charge it; nothing.
My wife has just started using a Curve 8520 and has had it for less than 1 month. In the past few days, they phone has started unlocking itself randomly. She's using the 'A' button to lock the keypad at which point the screen goes off (as I believe it should) and then after a minute or so, it unlocks itself and the screen comes back on.
I've recently just had to change handsets to the Curve 8520 model; mine is approximately 1 year old and previously used as a pay as you go phone but my SIM card is on contract. However, whenever I make or receive calls my voice will randomly cut out to the recipient for a few seconds and then return to normal but will reoccur shortly after even though I have full signal.
I have an iPhone 4s with IOS 7.1.2. Sometimes when I would send a text I would try typing the n or m button and instead it would put a space in. I thought that I was probably pressing the space button, but when I looked I was pressing the n button. In order for it to work I had to hold down the n button. Another thing is i would pull down my notification bar and it freezes for a couple of seconds then restarts with out me doing anything. I tried holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button to restart to see if that would work. But it is still doing it. What do I need to do?
Anyone else suffering from their curve 8520 os: 5.0.0.681 randomly crashing and only showing a white screen as well as it being unable to reboot unless it is plugged in? It often occurs when I'm playing media, using apps and maps. Had the same problem with my previous phone so it was sent in for repair and replaced but I'm still suffering from the same problem with the replacement handset!
For the past week my phone has been randomly restarting itself. It is updated to the current version. I've never had any problems with it before, and I would have ignored it but it seems to be happening at least once a day.
I have had my galaxy S5 since April (a couple weeks after it was released) My phone has worked flawlessly until mid august.. it has been having this bad habit of restarting it self when I am using it...
Things I have done > Factory Reset: I did a factory reset and while I was uploading contacts through kies it restarted.I have used another launcher: it still restarted while I was web browsing. ( did not download any apps for a couple days and problem still persisted randomly due to web browsing) Turned off Google Sync: It seemed to have solved the problem because it did not restart for like 2 days, but while using Pandora it lagged the music and it ended up restarting again.Cleared the cache/cookies: did nothing and still randomly restarted. Removed all facebook applications: problem still persist after a while of use.
This may be a coincidence but ever since I updated to Android 2.3.5 my phone will randomly re-start itself. It definitely didn't happen before. So for example the screen will be locked, nothing happening with the phone, good battery life, (e.g. overnight) and it will suddenly re-boot. It's doubly annoying because I have a PIN SIM so it's stuck at the PIN screen, without network coverage, until I discover it and log back in. My carrier is O2 (UK) but I don't think they're at fault, it's a 2 year old SIM without any previous problems.
Starting today my music player has been randomly stopping during songs. I checked my memory card in another phone to make sure it wasn't the problem, and it wasn't. It also happens on the stock Blackberry Music. It will play for a minute tops, and then stop playing. The music player doesn't close, it's just like if I had pressed pause. Normally pressing the play/pause button at the top of the phone a few times will do the trick, but this is quite annoying. If I wait long enough the music will resume again. I also checked my device memory and it's not low at all, and this will happen as soon as the phone is on with only the mandatory programs running. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas what could be causing it? I've done a few battery pulls but I'm still having the same problem.
Well a couple of months ago, on bbm, if I was to type a message it would delete what I was saying and randomly change to symbols instead of letters, and it would be stuck on alt. Recently, I have not had the charger for three days, as my brother took it, so my phone was dead for three days. When I got the charger back and charged it up, the keyboard wouldn't work, then it would go dead even though I am pushing the button that turns it on. And the only way it does turn on is when you charge it but it lasts for 5 seconds literally. The weirdest thing is the light is still flashing?
I have a Vodafone branded Desire S, and the main problem is that it's restarting every once in a while. Replaced the device, three times, and now I got my fourth desire and it still has the same issue, it randomly restarts, during a call, during web browsing, basically during everything ...
my screen randomly lining into pure white and becoming unresponsive. It requires a battery pull to correct the problem, and it doesn't seem to affect the way everything else is running. BlackBerry has had me do a 'clean install' on the device
I bought a Nokia 5230 in Jan 2010. There was no issue for the first few weeks... Now suddenly it started restarting at least 3 or 4 times in a day randomly. i install anti virus but no virus has been found. some time if it is restart it stuck up with welcome screen "NOKIA". also in that time no buttons are working, nothing will happen, Just full white screen with nokia logo and back light is on. then i i will remove the battery for few seconds, then only it will work?
When i update my software many small softwares was installed in tat time? like games API, helix engine, open C libssl, patch, PIPS installer, Platform services, Signal service, Symbian OS Studioserver, etc,. if i format my mobile i loose upgrade or not? What is the solution for this?
As of a few weeks ago I noticed my phone would randomly restart, I didn't think much of it until one day it shut off, restarted, and then it was locked and would not unlock no matter how long I held the side button down for, plugging it into the charger did nothing. I ended up having to let the phone just die and recharge it once it had died. I could deal with all of that, but today I noticed after it had some sluggish responses to me wanting to unlock the screen (it would stay locked and not respond to button presses until i waited around 2 or 3 minutes after hitting the button initially).
I tried to use several applications, the appstore, snapchat, youtube, and i got little to no activity from any of them. Never ending loading from just about all, or no activity whatsoever from the appstore, yet the net browser and facebook/ etc worked just fine. And to top it all off, I noticed my battery draining at an alarming rate, maybe 10% every 30 minutes even with nearly no applications running or open.
Anyone have any problems with there Atrix just randomly shutting down and restarting? It's happend 2 times so far once while I was in the middle of a call and another while useing the browser.
I have the EE variant of the G920F galaxy s6 in the UK. At least once a day the phone will reboot for no apparent reason what so ever. This has been since the 5.1.1 update, I have factory reset and cleared cache and it still happens. Thinking of flashing the international software to see if it happens with that.
my 8530 will suddenly, and for no apparent reason, decide to restart itself. I haven't noticed a pattern as to when it does this, and it doesn't seem to be a regular interval. I'll have it sitting next to me on the table, and suddenly it lights up, shuts down, and starts back up, and carries on as if nothing happened.
I have problem with Xperia mini pro (Black, sk17i). Phone have often restarts when the display going to turns off. I working without SIM card and with swiched on WiFi. The same thing I saw when I haven't signal from operator.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 and starting last night it just keeps restarting itself. I have tried taking the battery out and then replacing and hitting alt, right shift and delete continuously
