I've had issues with the trackpad freezing before but after a few hard resets it's always fine. 30 resets later, it still doesn't work, so I can't scroll or even press it to get to any of my applications.I've read the forum posts on finding the screw at the back, but this doesn't seem to be there for the 9300...can someone give some helpful and specific to the 9300 advice?
i have a curve 9300 and the stupid trackpad keeps freezing :'( im getting pretty frusterated cuz i cant do anything at all with my phone and its starting to really piss me off.
My trackpad keeps freezing, I have tried: taking the battery out leaving it for a night, turning in off for a day, turning it off and taking the battery out. I give up now, I have tried all sorts and this was a gift for my birthday a month ago, I'm quite disappointed as this was my first blackberry and I don't think I'll be buying another one.
I have a Blackberry curve 9300, and have had since january, and my track pad as stopped working, i havent dropped it or anything, i have tried taking the sim card out, and leaving out all night, its ever since i have got the new update, it has been like this, i have backed it all up?
I have a Curve 9300 with OS 6. I cannot return the device to the original retailer (out of warranty). This is kind of what happens.
1.)Trackpad stops scrolling after backlight switches back on. After waiting 10 seconds it works ok
2.) After an hour or so the trackpad stops scrolling entirely. The "push button" of trackpad still works though.
3.) I hard reset the device. Trackpad stops working entirely (doesnt scroll and pushing it as a button does not work either)
4.) I send phone in for repairs.
5.) If it works after "cleaning and reseating trackpad" my phone works fine for a few days. Then problem starts all over again.
6.)If cleaning does not work, they replace my trackpad. This usually works for a few weeks to a month. Then the problem starts all over again?I am getting sick of having the phone getting sent in for the trackpad to just be replaced again and again.
My blackberry curve's trackpad keeps freezing up, so I can't do anything with it. I can just about navigate through my messages as I can click on things with the trackpad & thank god for keyboard shortcuts ! I found a post saying that I had to tighten the TX screw or something of the sort but I'm worried I'll do something and then it'll no longer be under guarantee.
I have 2 month old Blackberry Curve 8520. Trackpad on it is constantly freezing. Have tried the battery pull out solution which worked the first few times. Now it has stopped working completely. It has also started to have blurry images on the screen when you try to switch it on and off.
ivehad my curve 8520 for a while now, and a couple months ago the trackpad froze for a couple minutes... I didn't think anything of it because it started working again... That's continued happening, getting more and more frequent and now sometimes I have to restart my phone two or three times for it to work... Everything else on my phone works even when the trackpad is frozen I just have to find another way to get to whatevr it is that I am trying to do. I can't scroll up or down or side to side but I have found out a way to munipulate my way through options and different menus and hotkeys..
I have a Curve 8520 and the trackpad is constantly freezing. It's happening at all different times and while in different programmes. I've had the phone for about a year and my provider is O2 (UK).
My phone is v4.6.1.314 if that makes a difference.
I just got my Blackberry a few days ago, and noticed that the trackpad is not working very well. It seems to either freeze intermittently, or not pick up the movement of my thumb. Either way, it's not working right. It's extremely frustrating when you just want to scroll over and choose an option but the thing won't work!Has anyone else had this happen to them with the new trackpad? Does anyone know of a solution, or should I return the phone for a new one?
Alright, so the trackpad isn't working, but at the same time it is. When I use it with my bare skin, it doesn't work, it takes many swips to do anything. But when I use it with say a piece of tape, or a cloth on the end of my fingers it works great and without a problem.
It's a used phone so swapping it is not an option, but is there some way to fix it?
My trackpad on my Blackberry 9300 is not working, I can not go; up, down, left or right and I can not click on anything. I have reset my phone countless times.
my blackberry curve 9300 track pad just stopped working. i tried removing the battery and sim card, several times, to reboot the phone but it didnt work. later on i tried to re-insert my sim card, the track pad is moving up and down, left to right, but when i try using for clicking and opening sms or email for example, it couldnt possibly work.also, my email started coming in, but sms does not, it keeps on popping a message that my sim card messaging memory is full, when i no longer have sms kept because i deleted them to save space.
i have done nothing to damage my phone. a few weeks ago, my trackpad would not work, but i plugged it into the charger and took the battery out again. about a week ago,the same thing happened and the same thing helped it. today though,it happened again, and plugging it into the charger and taking out the blackberry didnt help it. i cant get to much on my phone, as obviously i cant get to a lot as i cant use the trackpad.
I bought this curve 9300 in december ever since then it had little water damage. Nothing was wrong with the phone even with little water damage. Since last week my trackpad started disfunctioning. Whenever i scroll down it will automatically go up. Sometimes it happens alot, or sometimes a little. Im with Mobilicity since it has a little water damage problem, i dont think they will take my curve back.
I am using a blackberry curve 9300. My trackpad has stopped working, and I tried taking out the battery, and I need to take it out like 20 times and wait for the device to start working, and then maybe it works. Its stopped working again last night, and its not coming back.
I updated 4 apps on my blackberry curve last night and since then my trackpad will not scroll. I have removed the battery countless times and it still will not work.
basically my trackpad wont scroll down. I have had this problem even when the blackberry was new. I dropped my blackberry in water but there was no damage to it, but now when I explain it to my network provider they think it's because of the water damage. I haven't got a warranty on it, so water damage isn't covered. They said for me to do a software update. I tried it and still no luck.
My trackpad on my Blackberry Curve 9300 is not working. It won't scroll up or down and when I press it, it doesn't respond. I tried taking the battery out and restarting it, but it doesn't work.
I have a BlackBerry 9300, and my trackpad is not working at all. I have read many things telling me to pull the battery, and leave it out for over 2 minutes, and I have done this several times, and still my trackpad is not working period.
I have bought a new BB curve 9300 about 3 months and all of a sudden last night the trackpad started jumping around on screen. If I move it one place up it jumps down or to the right.
I am having major issues with my Blackberry Curve 9300.The trackpad constantly freezes for up to 15 hours at a time. During this time the device is useless. I cannot scroll left to right, but sometimes I can still select by pressing the trackpad. This still make it useless as I cannot scroll to what I want to select.Pulling the battery does not fix this. I have good app memory so that's not the issue.
i have a blackberry curve 9300 and i noticed that when i am reading an email and i use the trackpad left and right, instead of miving right and left within the line i am reading, it flips through e-mails (left gets the prefious mail and right gets the following mail) inlike when it is scrolled up and down, as it moves up and down the same mail.
is this notmal? can it be adjsuted from teh settings? this wasn't the case with my older curve 8520.
My BlackBerry Curve 9300 track pad frequently does not work. When this happens I remove and replace the battery to reboot the phone. I sometimes have to do this up to six times before the track button starts working again. Once the button is working, within 10 minutes to half an hour the track button becomes inoperable again and I have to go through the same procedure again.
On my blackberry 9300 the trackpad doesn't work it use to about two days ago on and off and i would have to type what i wanted to find in and click enter on the keyboard to select it i would like to know any ways of fixing this?
The trackpad on my BB Curve 9300 has stopped working. At first there were some glitches wherein the trackpad was unresponsive. After a few tries or after restarting the device, it began to work properly again. Just recently the trackpad stop to work altogether. I don't know if this is hardware related or if there's just a problem with software since I saw error messages regarding "java" or something. Also, I don't know if this is related but the problems started just after I added lock protection to my phone.
My trackpad has stopped working - I cannot click it or scroll. This is a huge irritation as I can no longer access anything on my phone unless I type in 'text messages' 'blackberry messenger' etc, and press the enter button. Before it stopped working it was very tempremental and would scroll rapidly up and down lists or messages without my control as I do not want to waste money at a phone shop and I don't want to go without my phone for a number of weeks.
