Occasionally when on a call, my phone will put the person on hold. I don't realise this until the person on the other end doesn't respond, and the solution is always to move the phone from my head, and take them off hold. It sometimes happens several times during the same call.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI started to transfer my pictures from my phone to my computer and realized that all of them didn't transfer, even though they show up in Gallery and Photos. When I started looking at the folder structure on my phone while I had it connected to my computer, I found pictures in other folders. How many different folders are used to store pictures and is there a way I can get them to save to the same place so I can transfer them more easily. The ones that seem to be in different folders are the ones I've saved from texts and emails. They're in 2 different folders. I'm worried that I'm going to miss others because I don't know where they are.

Recently when I got a new car and paired my phone up with it and switched to media it started playing all of these voice recordings that were stored in the music folder. That's how I found out that my phone was recording and saving things without me knowing it was happening. Some recordings are very short and some are close to 10 minutes long. So I have over 150 recordings in 5 months, what I am doing to make my phone record audio and save it. Is there a quick record button or something or a voice command?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have owned a galaxy s6 edge for three or four months now and for the last month or so, the location setting has been turning itself on. I have noticed that this only happens when I have some form of internet connection (4g or wifi).
I checked the location services menu and it says that no apps have recently requested my location so why this is turning on. I have also moved my location quick setting to the end of the scrollable quick settings so there is no possibility of turning it on accidentally.
I don't want it to know where I am (data protection and all that).

I can not get my galaxy s5 to automatically connect to 4G after being connected to wifi, the smart network switch is activated however it doesn't make any difference. the only way for me to reconnect to my network is to restart the device.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone will no longer automatically connect to saved WiFi networks. It knows they're there, because if I go to Settings -> WiFi, it shows up in the list as a "saved" one. Tapping on it and selecting "connect" does nothing. I have to turn off the WiFi and turn it back on, and it will then automatically connect.
Additionally, WiFi will not stay off. If I'm some place I don't want it to connect to WiFi, I turn it off so that I don't get messages that networks are available (specifically when I'm driving, it's really annoying to deal with that over Waze).
I've got a Sprint GS5, running stock (not rooted), on 5.0. No updates available for the phone. It does this on every WiFi network I have saved (home, school, and school apartment, among others). I've also tried turning Smart Switch off and on, it makes no difference for either issue.
Recently an application requested me to download "NBA game time" to use an additional feature. I opted out of downloading it. But I have noticed that since then 3 out of 5 times I unlock my phone it unlocks to the NBA game time app page in the play store. I now don't remember which app suggested this download. So I assume it was the sports center app but can't find anything that would keep triggering this issue. I even download the app and deleted to see if it would stop but to no success...

I called the *228 and it said it succesfully programed and the phone restarted but its says its roaming but its not. Make a call and it connects you to an operator wanting to assist you in making a collect call. I called verizon and manually programed it and still the same thing. After the restart, the phone number in network settings goes back to something that isnt even from around here. The home sid/nid goes back to diffrent values than what verizon gave me. Meid shows all zero's. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe proximity sensor on my iPhone 4 has been driving me crazy and I've been holding the phone to my left ear the same way as I've held every iPhone before with no problems. I thought what would happen if I moved it up a bit so the sensor was at the top part of my ear instead of at the hole part of the ear. So far, in the 3 calls I've made, it seems to have fixed it. Will have to see some more of the next couple days and it does require you to think and focus on how you are holding it but at least I can use the phone.

It's my first touchscreen phone, so I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.While I'm on a phone call, the following buttons automatically appear on the touchscreen: Mute, Hold, Speaker Phone, and Add Recipient. I have yet to complete a phone conversation without hitting one of these buttons with my cheek. Ok So i'm going to try and explain this and see if you guys can help me. When i'm on a phone call it automatically brings up the dial pad instead of going to the standard options like speaker phone and mute and all that. i often switch to speaker phone when on a phone call and i have to click twice when i could just click speaker phone.its just annoying i was wondering if there is a way to switch it to default to the speaker phone screen?
