View 3 Replies View RelatedSo, some French person has been calling me. I just got this number. I have no clue who it is. How can I block his number without asking my provider ? Are there some free apps ?
View 12 Replies View RelatedOccasionally when on a call, my phone will put the person on hold. I don't realise this until the person on the other end doesn't respond, and the solution is always to move the phone from my head, and take them off hold. It sometimes happens several times during the same call.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst time post and really hoping someone can help before I need to claim on insurance. My Blackberry Torch has worked great until all of a sudden this week I have been unable to hear people when they call me.They can hear me - but I simply hear no audio at all from the handset. The only way I can hear what callers are saying is if I put them on speaker phone or use headphones.I have tried hard reset, volume level checks, updating software to no avail.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI believe I downloaded a ringtone song into some type of answering/greeting to callers.. I'd like this removed so the caller hears a ring prompt rather than this music.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI received a BBM invite from some stranger. I can not decline, ignore or delete this unwanted BBM invite on the 9800 Torch. I t highlights the options, but when I select the options, nothing happens and the invite is still there.
Any other messages can be deleted or declined, but not this specific one. (It is sent from someone in Thailand)

View 2 Replies View Relatedthis morning i installed the latest desktop software which then installed the the latest os on my torch. it also installed twitter, facebook, myspace Internet, snap, three different im apps, and i don't know what all, without my permission. how do i prevent this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just transfured my details from my curve to my new blackerry torch 9860 but there is a load of apps that dont work on the new phone and is taking up a load of my app memory how do i delete them .
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen I send a SMS has a recipient was sent also to others! (sending X... et al.) I do not find settings?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI received my Torch due to my work, an evaluation unit given away by RIM in my region (finally a freebie after 11 years of covering the telecom sector!). I notice that the Documents to Go section has 100s of pdfs - about service level agreements and warranties in various countries. Some are as big as 5MB, so I want to delete them. (I'm guessing there are 200 - it takes 21 swipes of my finger to scroll down to the bottom of the list)
Trouble is.. when I connect to BBerry Desktop I can't find these files anywhere! Documents to Go shows up as empty.
On the device, when I click on Docs to Go this opens up as 'all files', with a folder icon saying Browse, and all these pdfs listed below that. 'Browse' leads to the folder groupings for camera, audiobooks, docs, music, etc. and the pdfs do not appear to be inside any of those.
So my only option is to delete each pdf one by one? On the handset is there some way to 'select' bunches of them and delete all at a time? I thought maybe I could do this using Windows Explorer, but whenever I click on the Flash Drive icon that represents the Torch memory I can't get in to see what's there (it says something like 'insert the disk you wish to view with this drive')
I have a Torch 9800 and the volume buttons on the right side of my phone don't seem to be working with any music program (Pandora, Slacker Radio, etc.) other than the normal Music program that comes with the phone. Is there something I need to do to configure the buttons for third-party music programs? It used to work just fine with these programs but no more!

Call the carrier support center but they said that one of my mailbox was hit by virus which is very unlikely since it only happen after i switch from 9780 to 9860. If it was from one of the mailbox, it should appear in the respective mailbox than in general message folder. Since talking with the support center is a waste of time, I just accepted their explanation and live with the problem. Now, I have to delete minimum 100 emails per day.I just want to shut it off. I can even read their business email. Attached are pictures for better understanding of my problem.
Ok so I read the webpage on how to root the Aria. I am still clueless to how to do it though. How do you get the one program on a sd card, where do I get that program? Can anyone help me out. View 3 Replies View RelatedSince I upgraded my 6603 to Lollipop I cannot reject calls with SMS messages anymore.
Reason is that when I received a call (and the phone is locked) the swipe up button for selecting the reject-message on the bottom of the screen is overlayed with the black soft-key bar showing home and back buttons.
Is this a bug or am I missing a setting?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe screen of my Blackberry Torch will not automatically turn off. It stays on all the time unless I press the lock button. I have the backlight brightness on the lowest setting and the 20 second time out.
Not that these matter, but I've also recently done the new Operating System update and have downloaded the applications AT&T 's Mark The Spot and Blackberry Maps. I do know they are why I've been losing battery power.
I lock the phone and then put it in my holster. But it automatically unlocks itself.
