I believe I downloaded a ringtone song into some type of answering/greeting to callers.. I'd like this removed so the caller hears a ring prompt rather than this music.

if my iphone is turned off, will callers still get my outgoing voice greeting?

I am having an intermittent problem where callers can't hear me for 6-10 seconds when they call. This is a t best embarrassing and frequently they hang up. As I say the problem is intermittent - sometimes the phone answers as usual. Interestingly, I can hear them talking (and usually saying 'hello? hello?) but they can't hear me and I just keep saying hello until they hang up or until the sound kicks in and we can converse.
I did a factory reset with no improvement, and have also downloaded the PC updater and updated the system with no improvement. Then, I spoke to a friend the other night who described an identical problem with his X10.
I just received my Blackberry curve 8330. All of a sudden my callers cannot hear me when I place or receive calls.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.

I can receive incoming calls and the person on the other end can hear me but i can't hear them unless i have them on speakerphone or have the headphones plugged in. it was working fine earlier but has stopped.

The caller can hear me on both modes. Have done the following but to no avail:- Wiped BB- Removed battery and rebooted- Removed 3rd party applications- Volume is up- Bluetooth is off- Plugged in earphones and can hear- Speakerphone works fine

View 3 Replies View RelatedA friend and I swapped Iphones and the voicemail greeting on my voicemail transferred to my old Iphone (friend's new Iphone). And everytime I go to check my voicemails, it tells me that I must set up my voicemail. I have done it at least 3 times now. I am also getting voicemails going both my friend and myself. I called my phone carrier, Verizon, and they said everything was successfully transferred, and are unaware as to why this is happening.

I have set up my voicemail, and if I hold the 1 button I can access and check voicemail.
I do not get notifications of new voicemail since the latest 2 software updates as when I touch voicemail button, It is stuck on the greeting screen, the only button that does anything is the one that takes you to the default or custom, whichever one you rouch and save results in "saving Greeting" which never actually ends and therefore I am never able to leave the greeting setup window and the voicemail never works!!

My iPhone 4 is on AT&T network, and the voicemail greeting will not change. I've saved it under Visual Voicemail, and it plays if I play it there, but when somebody calls, it plays my old one. I have tried setting it by calling my voicemail and changing it there, but that still doesn't work. If I play my voicemail message from calling my voicemail, it plays my new one. When people call, it still plays my old message!

I have an iPhone 4S and want to install the most recent software upgrade (7.1.2) but do not have enough space. I went to the music tab and unchecked sync music, I get a prompt asking if I want to remove all of my music. I clicked okay and the phone syncs, but the music is not removed from my phone.

I cant remove music from my iphone. I have tried de-selecting the sync all music from itunes and it removes all music except 27 songs that are not even songs I have put on my phone. They are from my wifes library. I assume they were added through the cloud. I have turned off all cloud options but still cant remove the 27 songs.

When I got the Droid 2.2, last November, I read over the setup instructions and was able to personalize the greeting on the opening screen. Now that I have changed a few things in my life, I would like to revise the opening greeting. I'm talking about the greeting that is on the unlock screen when you power up the droid. I have read extensively the setup instructions, the forums and such and cannot find the option I used to set it up originally. I thought it was in "settings/display" but the only settings there now are Brightness, Autorotate Screen, Animation, Screen Timeout, Wallpaper Settings and Roaming Banner.
Did an update wipeout my ability to change this greeting?
How do you remove pre-installed music that is on the phone as I don't won't it there. Tried deleting it with no success.
