I'm syncing my iPhone to iTunes and I'm ending up having music on my phone that, according to iTunes isn't on my phone. Or do i just reset the phone to factory settings thereby deleting all music? And doing that, what's preventing me from having the same issue again?

Have gone back into sync mode and it wont let me access the albums on phone to delete. Such ridiculous situation not to be able to delete by choice on phone. Sync only repeats the process. Not a happy iphone user. remove the albums. Also what to do when syncing to avoid happening again. When syncing, I dont seem to be able to access my iphone or chose what sync processes i want as the sync only happens as one process including the photos. Is this a fault?

I just updated to iOS 5.1.1 on my iPhone 4. Tried to put in ringtones or "tones" as I guess its now listed, and was given the message: "Are you sure you want to sync tones? All existing songs, movies and TV shows on the iPhone "HP_Owner's iPhone" will be removed."
I couldn't see any other way to get ringtones, so I tried it anyway. The message wasn't lying. I immediately gained a lot of capacity back on the capacity bar from songs, etc. I somehow got out of it and the capacity returned. Do I need to go through it all again and figure out how to install an older iOS?

My nephew 'tested' it for me for a week or two before my parents brought it to me here in India. When I plugged it into my Mac for the first time it asked me if I wanted to restore. I did so and all settings and address book have come across. But the music and apps are not syncing. I guess it's still associated with a previous owners' iTunes (probably my nephew's). How do I overcome this?

Recently I had my iphone replaced with a new on as the old one had a software fault. Now I have received the replacement and have restored it from my icloud it first downloaded everything but the next time I used it I had lost all my pictures so I restored it and tried again but still cant retrieve them and now it wont sync all my music to it. I have an iPhone 4, since the beginning I have had trouble getting all of my music to sync from iTunes. It seems that the music I imported from CD format are not syncing, though I can listen to them from my laptop. So for the past month or so, whenever i tried to sync my iPhone 5 to my iMac, my music would end up out of alphabetical order on my iPhone.
The majority of music would end up under '#' on my iPhone even though its perfectly organized on my Mac and i would have to resync my phone multiple times to get at least some of the music up the list alphabetically.
Although it did have some affect, the problem still persists with a '#' ending up under every couple letters.
Is there a way to resolve this or should i restore my iPhone?

Plugged in the phone and went to the home summary page and checked "sync only checked..." i've got multiple devices that were all synced to my school macbook, which is running snow
leopard 1.6.8 and itunes 10, but it was wiped and all the content on it was deleted.
