Jun 6, 2012I have a bold 9700, I selected sound profile loud with a standard tone, when I am called my device only rings once, any idea how to get to rimg more often??

BB Bold 9700 :: Reboots Itself Number Of Times A Day
Jan 29, 2010I've had my bb bold 9700 for about a wk now & I can't help but to get irritated at the number of times a day it reboots itself. I will say tho, that I'm mainly noticing the problem when I'm using a app such as Pandora. BUT sometimes in the middle of a text or something it'll just reboot WTH is that all about? Any solutions besides taking the phone back? Ps: I'm new to the blackberry world so plz forgive my ignorance if this is something common with all blackberries or if its something I'm doing wrong

BB Bold 9700 :: 9700 How To Extend Ringing Time For Ringtone
Apr 22, 2010I am sure that this issue has been raised before but it is the one aspect of the BB9700 that is driving me to distraction. What profile settings should i use just to get the darn thing to ring for 20 secs - both in and out of its holster? (I have tried the code to extend the time to 30 secs but it does not seem to work with Orange UK).
I just want the phone to ring like a phone without LEDS, vibration etc. At the moment, I need the hearing of a 5 year old and the strength of a 20 year old to get to my phone before it trips over to answerphone.I am on OS593 and I have tried battery pulls etc. I am also using a ringtune rather than Classic Ring.

Jan 8, 2010i love my bold to death but one thing is starting to annoy me. my bold keeps on resetting itself like 2-3 times a day. is this normal. ive had the phone since november and now it just starts resetting frequently. should i bring it back?

I pulled out the battery and that's when the flashing started I thought pulling the battery out again would work but it hasn't stopped it flashes several times stops and flashes again a min later. Aug 20, 2010Very often I lose my blacjberry connection (means that the blackberry symbol near 3G is missing) It occurs often when I use google maps, and now when I use bb app world 2.0 ..Seems like when the data amount is too high, connection is lost. I only can get it back by disabling 3G signal and enabling it again ..
I don't know why it does it, I had no problem with my bold 9000, but since I changed to 9700 I also changed my phone operator..Or maybe It's due to my faceplate change and I screwed myself not moving certain parts to the new faceplate..

- I go into the Phone App
- Bring up my address book, find persons name and select it
- If I have two numbers for that person it brings up a screen showing both numbers and I can select one if I want to ring it.
- But if I only have one number for a person, as soon as I select their name from the address book it starts ringing them
- Which is annoying if I'm just trying to find out what their number is so I can write it down...or dial it from a different phone.

Sep 5, 2010When setting a password, for the "Number of Password Attempts" (set to 10), can somebody absolutely confirm if it is 10 consecutive logins, or if it 10 total?
I'm assuming once you login correctly once that the number if incorrect attempts resets to 0, but I've seen statements in various articles that state or at least hint otherwise.

May 26, 2010I have reecently changed from the 8900 to the 9700. I transfered my contact list but now when a contact rings their name doesn't appear but the number only as all the numbers are prefixed with +61 (I am in Australia) whereas from the contact list the numbers all begin with a zero. (So the number dialling in doesn't match with any numbers stored in the contact list). I didn't have that problem with 8900.

I scrolled thru my contacts later and it doesn't do it anymore. I liked that option and would like to "turn it on" if possible. I've had my bold for about 3 mons and it has never done it b4 or again. Just once just today. I'm running os .714 on TMO if that matters or is important.

Jun 16, 2010After certain time in the phone all incoming calls show the same number in caller ID.The number that is shown will be the last call received before the problem starts.The call log shows the correct number but when call is received the same number is shown.This continues till the phone is reset. But it reverts back to the same issue after some time.I thought this was a problem with the phone and changed Handset and SIM card also, but still the problem came back after a couple of months. My service provider is not able to help me. I tried updating the software in the old phone but still the problem was there.This is driving me crazy since there are many calls I dont want to attend.
