I have the blackberry bold 9700 the LED light to alert you of messages etc. Will not stop flashing. I pulled out the battery and that's when the flashing started I thought pulling the battery out again would work but it hasn't stopped it flashes several times stops and flashes again a min later. I checked all apps and messages but cannot find any alerts. Its been over a week but the problem has not corrected itsel
View 4 RepliesSimilar posts out here and can't find an answer: I have a BB Bold that was working fine today. Since 5:30 ET, it has gone to a black screen. When plugged in, the led light blinks 4 times, pauses, blinks 4 times, pauses, and so on. This blinking pattern has continued for hours. I unplugged and removed thte battery, and then returned the battery to the phone and plugged it in again with no improvement. The phone will not turn on and continues to blink as described. There has been no drop or moisture damage to the unit. Any ideas as to what is going on?

Did a restore on my 9700 this morning backing it up with my save from Friday. Turned it back on after the restore, no issues, everything worked fine then about 15 mins later the screen went white and had no functionality. i did a battery pull and nothing happens. screen is now totally black, it wont reboot and the LED just flashes red once, pause, then three times? BBDM wont recognize the device when its connected?

when i receive messages or emails the led flashes red but only for a set amount of time! i didnt check my phone for a while because the LED wasnt flashing, which i thought meant i didnt have any messages or missed calls! i had a couple of missed calls and messages!is there any way of changing it so it flashed until the message is read?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had my Bold 9700 plugged into speakers and listening to Slacker like I have done in the past. Now when I try to make a call or receive a call the "Headset" icon flashes on and off as tho the headset is plugged in when nothing is plugged into the jack. This overrides speakerphone too. So basically I can receive and send a call but it cuts in and out quickly since it thinks the headset is taking over.
Not sure if this is a glitch or if something happened when listening to music. Nothing looks abnormal when I look into the headset port. I was thinking maybe I should update the software to see if its a software or bug.

i have may bold 9000 for awhile now but all of a sudden it does not turn on any more. screen blank and the LED light flashing four times. i cannot wipe the phone because i cannot access my bold via the USB port. i'm geting frustrated and i dont know what to do.

I have read about this and I thought I could reflash the phone to see if that fixes it. I have tried with XS++ and when I press 2 and 5 and connect the phone the program reacts but it stops at "Protocol Version 3.1" then nothing happens. The phone doesn't react when I put it in the charger so perhaps the battery is all drained too.

I will say tho, that I'm mainly noticing the problem when I'm using a app such as Pandora. BUT sometimes in the middle of a text or something it'll just reboot WTH is that all about? my BB restarts automatically with any setting done for rebooting atleast 2times a day.plz assist me for the same probelm n my contacts also get deleted automaticaly from my address book.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was on my way home on the train and running low on batteries, but thought i had enough to quickly browse the applications.I'd installed the free Time app earlier that day and checked it out, and it wasnt really to my taste, so I decided to delete the app. It warned me the blackberry would need to restart which was fine, only it turned off and didnt come back on.I thought it had just ran out of battery but now after four hours of charging, and plugging it to my PC the blackberry still wont start.
