I am a new Blackberry user and have been loving every minute of the 2 weeks i have spent with it up untill last Friday. I took the battery out for the first time and since putting it back in my BB now vibrates and the led light flashes yellow every 2minutes or so. Anyone that could help me rectify this will be helping a certain white BB Bold from being thrown off the balcony!

Turned it back on after the restore, no issues, everything worked fine then about 15 mins later the screen went white and had no functionality. i did a battery pull and nothing happens. screen is now totally black, it wont reboot and the LED just flashes red once, pause, then three times? BBDM wont recognize the device when its connected?

I pulled out the battery and that's when the flashing started I thought pulling the battery out again would work but it hasn't stopped it flashes several times stops and flashes again a min later. As the title says, while my phone is on silent (and even on "All Alerts Off"), my phone somehow seems to vibrate when a phone call comes in. It works perfectly fine on SMS and everything else; it's only a problem for phone calls. I have went into the profile settings and it is set to silent and vibrate off. I even have done a master reset of the phone. So I don't know what the deal is.

Till 2 weeks ago it worked perfectly, 2 weeks ago while I was sleeping my phone ranged, then I pressed a button(I am not sure but should be the mute button) and suddenly it started to ring only once(then it starts the vibration) while in holster. I looked every setting of it but could not find anything wrong.

I don't have any new messages, and I can't figure out what it is. How do I remove it? I have a bold 9700 with att.I"ve been researching the icon all night with no luck as to what it is.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI had my Bold 9700 plugged into speakers and listening to Slacker like I have done in the past. Now when I try to make a call or receive a call the "Headset" icon flashes on and off as tho the headset is plugged in when nothing is plugged into the jack. This overrides speakerphone too. So basically I can receive and send a call but it cuts in and out quickly since it thinks the headset is taking over.
Not sure if this is a glitch or if something happened when listening to music. Nothing looks abnormal when I look into the headset port. I was thinking maybe I should update the software to see if its a software or bug.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is pretty frustrating - anytime I get an incoming phone call when my 9700 is set to Silent, it still vibrates. I've gone through the profile settings and alerts menus, and they all have vibrate set to OFF under the Silent profile. Battery pull has no effect. Anything else I should try?

The effect of this is that the phone remains linked to the car until the car system eventually shuts down.If I receive a call to my mobile during this period, the phone rings but I am not able to hear anything through the phone earpiece. How can I disconnect from the car bluetooth in order to receive any incoming calls that coincide with the above period. This has caused some embarassment on a number of occasions.

Now, I am getting them but there's allot of lag time. My PC inbox gets them right away but it takes my blackberry 20 minutes after it's sent to get sometimes. I tried multiple e-mails and same thing so I know the problem is not the email server and I also have no problems with my BIS and when I send emails with my BB they're sent to the inbox immediately.

When plugged in, the led light blinks 4 times, pauses, blinks 4 times, pauses, and so on. This blinking pattern has continued for hours. I unplugged and removed thte battery, and then returned the battery to the phone and plugged it in again with no improvement. The phone will not turn on and continues to blink as described. There has been no drop or moisture damage to the unit. Any ideas as to what is going on?
