Yesterday my bb rebooted and when it turned back on I had a new icon under my personal email envelope icon. The icon is a yellow envelope, with a swoosh under it. I don't have any new messages, and I can't figure out what it is. How do I remove it? I have a bold 9700 with att.I"ve been researching the icon all night with no luck as to what it is.
View 14 RepliesI just got the bold 9700 ver. 2 from ATT and don't have the phone icon. It is not hidden, I looked, and not in any other folder. All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?

I took the battery out for the first time and since putting it back in my BB now vibrates and the led light flashes yellow every 2minutes or so. 1. how to set up hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail accounts along with official company mails which is already set up. important is to received online mails the i am receiving official mails on company account, means it rings when a mail hits inbox, i want the same for hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail?
2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.
I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I woke this morning to see my Yahoo email icon back on my home screen. Has anyone else gotten it back? And lastly, how do I change it back to a stock BB icon?

In the notification area (between the Profile icon and serach icon) where it shows the number of text messages, emails, missed calls etc, a symbol has appear that looks like the WiFi symbol but in yellow. Does any know what this notification icon means or where there is a complete list of icons on the web?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I get a new SMS, it is the same as a new e-mail icon. However, this is not supposed to be so... SMS's are supposed to be a slanted envelop. I never had this problem with my old curve 8320. I've also had this icon issue since I got my phone several months ago. The icons remain the same no matter which OS version I use. I am on T-mobile.

I turned it on and off and rebooted, but it is still there, showing 1 e-mail, but there are none. Is there a hidden e-mail somewhere I am missing. Also had a few random reboots. I am new to the blackberry and for the life of me I can't see how to setup POP mail or internet access thru my 3G Connection. all my other phones I had in the past, when I incerted my SIN Card, I would get 3 text messages and all I had to do was save them and my internet was set up. but my Blackberry never got those messeges. is there a way to set up my 3G Internet access and my POP mail ? all I can find is an option to setup a enterprise server, and I do not have the other option that all the books say I should have ?

I know it was there earlier today since I went in to see if there were any BIS 3.0 changes (I didn't see any).Now it's gone.I still have all my e-mail accounts set up and they appear to be working fine, but the setup icon is gone.Has anyone else noticed this issue?Is there something going on with BIS? On the old thread it sounded like I have no choice, but that was re: a different type of BB. If anyone knows how to even get into my options to look I'd appreciate it. I've read how other people are getting there - going from the main menu to email settings/options/advanced settings, etc, but I can't find all the "options" I need.
