There was wondering if any1 could help me, I have recently had a orange envelope appear with a yellow swoosh through it on my home screen where my email envelope icon with the globe on it should be, I don't know what it is and have tried everythin to get rid of it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had to transfer my info to a new phone, now none of the calendar entries are showing on the home screen. i've got 2 new calendars that i've never seen before, device default and unknown. those are in addition to my email calendar. DD = green, my email = blue, and unknown = yellow. the original entires are all green and DO NOT show up on the homescreen. any new ones i enter are yellow and DO show on home screen. any ideas why this is happening? i have a lot of future entires that i dont want to re-enter.

From yesterday an 'icon' appeared on my front screen - it is similar in appearance to the twitter icon but blurred, facing the opposite way and has a 1 by the side of it constantly. I have read all my twitter messages, I have carried out the security measures I can think of but that's not to say I have done everything! On my travels through the phone it would appear I did not have encryption enabled or other such settings. I've tried a battery pull which hasn't worked. The Apps I've got loaded are Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps, Bejeweled & Accuweather.

My daughter just used her old sim from her old tmobile phone. I pay £15 per month for her to have 600 minutes and unlimited texts.But since using her sim in the BB, there have been strange charges appearing on her statement. She doesn't use any apps on there, and hasn't seen anything happening on the phone so we're at a loss as to what these charges are.They are only a few pence, but last month it came to over £7 and this month in just 3 days the total is already £2.She popped into our local tmobile store and was told that BB's are not supposed to be used without a data package, whatever that's supposed to mean.Tmobile do a booster for unlimited internet for just under £5 but I can't really afford to be paying that every month, i'd just rather get rid of these extra charges all together. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just finished configuring the email client on E75 (this may or may not have relevance)(Fw:211.12.01). Since then an unknown data connection keeps coming up. No application is running, but there is an active connection, shown by the icon and by the connection manager. If I disconnect it from the manager, it comes back again in a couple of minutes. The data rate is 5-10 kB/hour, so no large data traffic is made.
However, I do not like at all that the phone initiates 3G connection without my permission, or without being able to figure out exactly what application is doing it. Automatic updates, mail check, agps, etc. are all set to off.) Has anyone experienced this? Is there any utility to find what exactly is using the data connection? I will try a backup, reset, restore, but this won't make me any satisfied with this product.

It also has a red circle with a white star indicating there is a new message or something. When I click on the status bar it brings up all the other indicated messages or calls in the list but there is no list to correspond with this icon. It looks similar to the icon used for missed call or placed call except it has a curved arrow next to it. It is a gold phone receiver and the arrow is bent at a 45 degree angle. (kind of like a backwards check mark with an arrow head on the bottom). I have a suspicion that it has to do with call forwarding since I forwarded calls to a different phone # the other day, however, I cancelled that. I have checked my messages folder, rebooted, pulled battery, done an update, etc. Nothing works.
