BB Curve :: Enterprise Activation Icon Suddenly Appeared
Apr 25, 2012
i picked up my phone to find a enterprise activation icon had appeared on my menu, I hadnt performed a reset or even turned it off, when i select the icon it is a white screen that appears..what is this and how has it just appeared? my phone seems to working as normal just now, what should i do with it?
Just out of the box but I cannot seem to find the ICON or this option (Enterprise Activation) under advanced options. A coworker did do a few things and I think activated the Blackberry email but I need access to corporate email and have the password for the blackberry server.
Is there a way to make the Curve 3G 9330 work with a BES server? I've tried following the online instructions, but at the Enterprise Activation stage the option is missing and I can't activate the phone. I have older models that work just fine.
I have recently bought a Blackberry Curve 8520. The phone came set up for Vodacom (I live in South Africa) but I changed to Virgin. Now I am having problems getting the Enterprise Activation Password. I have read previous advice and 'pulled' the battery - nothing. Please whoever replies.....you are dealing with an **bleep** and instructions must be very easy to follow
We have 2 x Curve 8520 which no longer work. One is with O2 the other with Orange.
We are using BES and activated the blackberrys as normal, we got to the following point in the activation
Activating user.name@company.co.uk Verifying Encryption Encryption verified Waiting for services...
All of a sudden the screen locked with a message saying that memory cleaning was in progress and would take a few minutes. (apologies dont have the exact wording for this)
The device rebooted the white screen came up with the loading clock icon and thats as far as it goes. it reboots after a few mins then does the same and is now stuck in this endless loop.
We've tried the battery pull, tried re-installing OS via Desktop Manager. but still the same.
I had an old BB curve 8900, am I had some problems with it and I decided to buy another one. On my old BB 8900I had Enterprise activation account. I received a new password and ALL the things I had on my old phone were synchronized on my new one. And I don't want that. So I've wipe out my phone. But surprise when I entered my Enterprise activation account all the previous things that I wiped out were on my new wiped out BB curve 8900. I don't want that. I want a new fresh BB! How can I wipe out everything, activate this account and have a fresh start. I love this function, I love that all my contacts, mails etc., were there, but I just want to copy a part of them. (I'm doing this because a while ago I've changed the language of the phone and in the upper right corner is a mark with "EN" and I really hate it, and I want it gone, but every time I change the phone, wipe it out, it reappears)...
Blackberry 8530, email enterprise activation won't work. I've discussed the problem with both Sprint and our IT department at work without resolving the issue. Both say it should be working. Sprint's latest suggestion is to exchange the phone for a new one. (Which would be my third phone in a week since first getting the 8520) It retries, then occasionally the screen pops up to say the enterprise server hasn't responded with the options to continue or cancel. I'll be heading to the Sprint store this afternoon to either exchange the device or get something completely different.
I have Blackberry 8520 curve and in the upper left corner a Icon of a speaker with 3 white lines, yesterday a small red circle with 3 white lines showed up just to the right of the speaker or sound icon, what is it and how do I remove
A icon has appeared on my screen and I have no idea what it is or how to remove it its a blue S on black background with red star I will try and upload a screen shot of it.
i went into my text messages- and highlighted them all i accidently clicked mark unopened. then pressed delete (as originally intended) now i have icon saying i have 47 unread sms msgs but of course everything is gone so i cant bloody get rid of anything!
I've lost the original battery to my blackberry curve 9360. I ordered some replacements on Amazon and when I put them in, an battery with a X just appears on the screen. I'm in desperate need of my curve and need to know where to get the correct ones.
I'm trying to set up "email accounts" in setup and i think when i first opened this a few hours ago i selected "enterprise" instead of "personal emails" ....any ideas how i clear this selection, so i can try to go ahead and set up a personal email account rather than a business one....here's hoping!
Today a random gold icon appeared on my blackberry 8520 homescreen and I cant get rid of it, I went through my messages folder as friends suggested that to see if it was an app update but there are no messages there about it?
I have a symbol on my blackberry curve screen that won't disappear, it's on the top left part of the screen and it's a red triangle with 72 in the middle. I thought it had something to do with the amount of e-mails, but I deleted them but it won't disappear.
There was wondering if any1 could help me, I have recently had a orange envelope appear with a yellow swoosh through it on my home screen where my email envelope icon with the globe on it should be, I don't know what it is and have tried everythin to get rid of it.
I have a BB Curve 8520 v5 on Vodafone contract. From yesterday an 'icon' appeared on my front screen - it is similar in appearance to the twitter icon but blurred, facing the opposite way and has a 1 by the side of it constantly. I have read all my twitter messages, I have carried out the security measures I can think of but that's not to say I have done everything! On my travels through the phone it would appear I did not have encryption enabled or other such settings. I've tried a battery pull which hasn't worked. The Apps I've got loaded are Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps, Bejeweled & Accuweather.
I have a yellow star icon appeared on my home page, on the place where I usually receive notifications from Twitter, facebook Text emails etc. I click on it & nothing happens & I am unable to get rid of it.
I have changed from a Bold 9700 to a 9780, I cannot find the enterprise activation on the 9780, it was under advanced options on the 9700. I always end up on the set up e-mail account but although entering the password provided by my provider I have no success?
I bought my bold 9780 used and when i went to set up, email, i instantly got the enterprise activation screen, i just want to set up internet email but cannot exit this screen.
I've got the Blackberry Internet Service and the right information by my company for the activation. Now I want to activate the enterprise service but it failed. I've seen a video how to do this: [URL].
Setup-> Emails accounts: Video showing two options: normal Mail account and company mail account.
In my system there's not such a thing. I can choose between google & co. or type an own one. Doing this I fail! I think that the right option is missing. How can I activate the enterprise service?
How to get the option to activate the Enterprise Service on my BB9700 ? My company has the Enterprise Server App installed and working for most of there employees. My issue is that on my particular BB, if I go into Options/Advanced Options there is no menu item for activating the Enterprise app. Do you know if there is a download or something I need from my service providers (AT&T) to allow me to see/have this option on my phone?
