BB Curve :: 8900 - Enterprise Account Activation After Wipe Out
Jan 9, 2012
I had an old BB curve 8900, am I had some problems with it and I decided to buy another one. On my old BB 8900I had Enterprise activation account. I received a new password and ALL the things I had on my old phone were synchronized on my new one. And I don't want that. So I've wipe out my phone. But surprise when I entered my Enterprise activation account all the previous things that I wiped out were on my new wiped out BB curve 8900. I don't want that. I want a new fresh BB! How can I wipe out everything, activate this account and have a fresh start. I love this function, I love that all my contacts, mails etc., were there, but I just want to copy a part of them. (I'm doing this because a while ago I've changed the language of the phone and in the upper right corner is a mark with "EN" and I really hate it, and I want it gone, but every time I change the phone, wipe it out, it reappears)...
Is there a way to make the Curve 3G 9330 work with a BES server? I've tried following the online instructions, but at the Enterprise Activation stage the option is missing and I can't activate the phone. I have older models that work just fine.
I have recently bought a Blackberry Curve 8520. The phone came set up for Vodacom (I live in South Africa) but I changed to Virgin. Now I am having problems getting the Enterprise Activation Password. I have read previous advice and 'pulled' the battery - nothing. Please whoever replies.....you are dealing with an **bleep** and instructions must be very easy to follow
We have 2 x Curve 8520 which no longer work. One is with O2 the other with Orange.
We are using BES and activated the blackberrys as normal, we got to the following point in the activation
Activating user.name@company.co.uk Verifying Encryption Encryption verified Waiting for services...
All of a sudden the screen locked with a message saying that memory cleaning was in progress and would take a few minutes. (apologies dont have the exact wording for this)
The device rebooted the white screen came up with the loading clock icon and thats as far as it goes. it reboots after a few mins then does the same and is now stuck in this endless loop.
We've tried the battery pull, tried re-installing OS via Desktop Manager. but still the same.
i picked up my phone to find a enterprise activation icon had appeared on my menu, I hadnt performed a reset or even turned it off, when i select the icon it is a white screen that appears..what is this and how has it just appeared? my phone seems to working as normal just now, what should i do with it?
Blackberry 8530, email enterprise activation won't work. I've discussed the problem with both Sprint and our IT department at work without resolving the issue. Both say it should be working. Sprint's latest suggestion is to exchange the phone for a new one. (Which would be my third phone in a week since first getting the 8520) It retries, then occasionally the screen pops up to say the enterprise server hasn't responded with the options to continue or cancel. I'll be heading to the Sprint store this afternoon to either exchange the device or get something completely different.
I have a phone from my company that I no longer use. Seems like the enterprise server hijacked the phone. How can I get it to where it was before? Or unlock it.
I needed to complete a wipe device last night which i have done, didnt bother playing with the phone after, gone to make a call this morning to find out that it has deleted all my numbers from both my directory and my sim card directory. should this of happened?
When i go into the email setup it says i need to activate my enterprise account. it asks for my email and password provided by my system administrator. I can't seem to find where i obtain this password from and who is my system administrator??
I'm trying to set up "email accounts" in setup and i think when i first opened this a few hours ago i selected "enterprise" instead of "personal emails" ....any ideas how i clear this selection, so i can try to go ahead and set up a personal email account rather than a business one....here's hoping!
how to activate an email account. Whenever I click on the mail button, it shows: No accounts activated?Account activation To activate your enterprise account, enter details provided by your system administrator in the fields below I've read that it should first give you an option: Enterprise or the Personal account. In this case, it doesn't show any option.
I have jut received the blackberry 8520 from my mum who security wiped the phone just before I received it, now when I go to set up an email account only the enterprise server option is mad available and I am looking for the phone to be personal Internet aolution how do I change this.
I never worked but my enterprise has been activated. I checked the Advanced options and the service book if there is an enterprise activation phrase but there's none. How do I get rid of it so that I can use my normal e-mail?
I have changed from a Bold 9700 to a 9780, I cannot find the enterprise activation on the 9780, it was under advanced options on the 9700. I always end up on the set up e-mail account but although entering the password provided by my provider I have no success?
I bought my bold 9780 used and when i went to set up, email, i instantly got the enterprise activation screen, i just want to set up internet email but cannot exit this screen.
I've got the Blackberry Internet Service and the right information by my company for the activation. Now I want to activate the enterprise service but it failed. I've seen a video how to do this: [URL].
Setup-> Emails accounts: Video showing two options: normal Mail account and company mail account.
In my system there's not such a thing. I can choose between google & co. or type an own one. Doing this I fail! I think that the right option is missing. How can I activate the enterprise service?
How to get the option to activate the Enterprise Service on my BB9700 ? My company has the Enterprise Server App installed and working for most of there employees. My issue is that on my particular BB, if I go into Options/Advanced Options there is no menu item for activating the Enterprise app. Do you know if there is a download or something I need from my service providers (AT&T) to allow me to see/have this option on my phone?
Just out of the box but I cannot seem to find the ICON or this option (Enterprise Activation) under advanced options. A coworker did do a few things and I think activated the Blackberry email but I need access to corporate email and have the password for the blackberry server.
I just bought a Blackberry Torch but have been unable to set up my corporate email using Enterprise Activation. I have the password from my IT group and have also reset the device. I keep getting an error that the Blackberry is unable to connect the server.
