I have an unusual icon appeared on my homescreen for the first time, and I don't know how to clear it. My email icon, which is a transparent envelope, now has a small orange envelope inside it. I have no emails waiting, in fact I have cleared the inbox to be sure. I have consulted the icons PDF doc on the BB site but that doesn't list it. I have tried a re-boot.
View 4 RepliesThere is a golden pouch (maybe an envelope with a strap around the bottom) that appeared at the bottom of the email icon. Can't find it anywhere in the documentation and can't figure out what it is when I select the email envelope it does not indicate anything different.

I've checked other posts & not found this one described.It sits to the right of the yellow envelope showing incoming emails. View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to transfer my info to a new phone, now none of the calendar entries are showing on the home screen. i've got 2 new calendars that i've never seen before, device default and unknown. those are in addition to my email calendar. DD = green, my email = blue, and unknown = yellow. the original entires are all green and DO NOT show up on the homescreen. any new ones i enter are yellow and DO show on home screen. any ideas why this is happening? i have a lot of future entires that i dont want to re-enter.

It is a solid blue chat bubble (not the bbm chat bubble blue but a lighter one) I have no idea what this is, i have gone to my messages, my sms and deleted everything, this thing just popped up today. I have tried a battery pull among other things and have no idea what this is. Once again, it is a solid blue chat bubble (no white dots or red or anything near it) and the number is to the right of the blue icon.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 that keeps going to contacts no matter what icon I click on.I tried upgrading the OS and the phone worked fine for about an hour and then went straight back to only going to contacts. The same thing happens when I downgrade.I am unable to make calls or do anything from the contacts list. The phone is basically unusable.
I have tried the upgrade and battery pull and restore from back up.Does anyone have any suggestions of what this could be and how to fix it.

View 8 Replies View Relatedso after updated I have been having a few brain scratchers going on, and this is the latest.the little 4 square symbol next to 3G that is ALWAYS on for me, has now disappeared but i am still able to send emails and BBM (which I shouldnt be if the symbol is not there).how is this possible?? is anyone else noticing this?
im so confused and getting a bit irritated with the release...
So obviously my text message icon is gone, i tried "show all" and going into message options and changed email/sms to seperate. But it hasent done anything! Ive changed my themese changed between theme controlled and seperate, and still nothing, i did show all atleast 10 times and it still hasent shown up.

I need help setting up my email account and all of that stuff. When i try to set up a personal email address the only option I get is for setting up a Work email. I don't know if this has anything to do with the recent BIS 3.0 update, but my E-Mail Setup Icon disappeared. I know it was there earlier today since I went in to see if there were any BIS 3.0 changes (I didn't see any).Now it's gone.I still have all my e-mail accounts set up and they appear to be working fine, but the setup icon is gone.Has anyone else noticed this issue?Is there something going on with BIS? Perhaps an upgrade rollout?

We spent an hour on the phone to AT&T support with no help. The icon is gold round with gridlines as latitude and longitude. The number "1" is beside it. It is at the top to the right of the email icon. I have a screen capture of it.
