Jan 27, 2010On my bold 9790 OS 7.1.0 pack 2039, It appears that "unknown caller" are not logged on the regular call history., I find it annoying....This is true for missed and taken calls.

Sep 18, 2011I've checked other posts & not found this one described.It sits to the right of the yellow envelope showing incoming emails. It is slightly smaller than the yellow envelope, seems to be a grey envelope, with a black 'seal' and a tiny red circle on the top right corner which may have the number '1' in it - all very difficult to see.I've checked all my emails - all empty.No RIM messages either.No BlackBerry World updates.Removed battery & rebooted.

Jun 2, 2010Alright, I've had this 9700 since the first week it's came out and I have never seen this icon before. It is a solid blue chat bubble (not the bbm chat bubble blue but a lighter one) I have no idea what this is, i have gone to my messages, my sms and deleted everything, this thing just popped up today. I have tried a battery pull among other things and have no idea what this is. Once again, it is a solid blue chat bubble (no white dots or red or anything near it) and the number is to the right of the blue icon.

My email icon, which is a transparent envelope, now has a small orange envelope inside it. I have no emails waiting, in fact I have cleared the inbox to be sure. Dec 31, 2011The Icon for text messages is not showing them. When I point to it I get "setup". The ONLY way I've been able to find my text messages is to go to "search", type in "tex" (no more because it mis directs me) then the icon with all the messages is there. I tried the BB button and do NOT get an option to move the folder. The ONLY way I've been able to find it is to use the specific search method as stated above. I've been working on the problem for 2 hours now since a friend told me via Facebook that she had sent me a text.

Feb 2, 2010When I first got the phone, the little red notification did show up above the letter when I got a new email. But after A certain time frame, it would go away. I then found out that after I do a battery pull, it fixes the problem for a while, but then it goes back to not showing the little red notification again. I was wondering if their was a way to fix this? or if its just a permanent bug.

If someone calls me on a land line the caller id works great and name appears as in my contact list. If someone calls me on a cell phone I get unknown number. Jan 25, 2012an unknown icon that is in my status bar on my blackberry torch. It is light grey kinda looks looks like a mouse with a tail or a Bluetooth earbud. It also has a red circle with a white star indicating there is a new message or something. When I click on the status bar it brings up all the other indicated messages or calls in the list but there is no list to correspond with this icon.
