I am using a Bold 9700 on AT&T and when someone calls me with a blocked number, "uknown caller" does not show up on my call log. It wont show that I received that call and won't give me a call history.

On my bold 9790 OS 7.1.0 pack 2039, It appears that "unknown caller" are not logged on the regular call history., I find it annoying....This is true for missed and taken calls.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased an unlocked Telus Storm 2 - 9550. Currently using this phone on the Rogers network. Phone works great, but caller id does not fully work. If someone calls me on a land line the caller id works great and name appears as in my contact list. If someone calls me on a cell phone I get unknown number. I have tried battery pull and tried changing encryption or the smart dialing settings.

This is not the case when I receive and incoming call and during the call I receive another incoming call (call waiting) the caller id works just fine.
Already tried Hard and Soft Resets.
Recently I am facing this problem in my Xperia X10i. The recent caller photo gets recorded, and when the next call comes, I get the photo of last caller, though the caller number is the current one.

I bought a BB 9650 unlocked from Verizon, and i am using it in Canada with Fido, and when i get phone calls from people, it shows up as unknown number, but i realize i have these people numbers stored on my contact list super weird.
Having recently updated the device software to 7.1 bundle 2061(v7.1.0.714, platform 5.1.0.532) I have noticed that when receiving a voice call the contact name is not displayed just the number, unless you know the number then you can't be sure who is calling? However after the call has stopped the name is displayed in the call log, assuming of course that the person calling is in the contact list

BB is Bold 9900. When making a call I can't hear the caller. But when using headset or speaker I can hear it clearly. I tried deleting everything back to factory settings using Wipe Data but didn't help. Also trying to plugin and out the headset several times but doesn't help either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing 9700 on Vodafone UK - Software Version 5.0.0.423..This has happened a few times now. At first I thought it was just me not reading the screen properly. And it only happens now and again.
What happens is that sometimes when I get a call the screen shows the last callers details as if they were ringing again - but it is someone else.When I hang up the call or if I miss the call - the details then show the correct persons details - weird.
If I pull the battery out it all works fine then for a week or two and then starts happening again. It is not a big deal or anything - just a bit strange.
Just got Lumia 710 2 days ago, and upgraded it in Zune to the latest, and now I notice when I call from iphone 4s, it does not show the caller's number. However if I call from other cell phone or primus voip, it's fine.I have tried to swap the sim cards between Lumia 710 and iphone 4s, I still have the exact the same issue, so I am sure it's something to do with the phone not carrier.

My iPhone 4 which is appx 4 years old with latest iOS has developed this problem last week. After a hello on connecting a call with anyone, it just goes blank. Neither am I able to hear any voice from the other side nor the person on the other side is able to hear me. I hVe to disconnect the call and use SMS or whatsapp. Is there anything I can do to correct it?

As well as this, all my text messages have no contact names assigned to them, just their number. However in my call log, my contacts names come up... And when I click on view contact through the call log, the contact's details all come up!!! For example, one of my contacts, John, is saved on my call log and when I click on view contact through the call log, his address and number comes up, so it is saved. However when he calls, his name doesnt come up...So I'm assuming my contacts are saved on my phone somewhere, but they dont seem to come up on my contact list or text messages!! - Checked and searched forums / the web
- Did a battery pull
- Checked application memory, standing strong at 85 MB
- Memory card has 1.8GB As well
- Cleared browser history and other memory 'stuff' just for the sake of it
The problem is old Missed calls are showing, but the new ones aren't. I haven't got the slightest clue why really, and I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

Example let's say I am calling my doctors office. Their recorded message will say" press 1 for refill press 2 for nurse press 3 to schedule an appointment. Even if I just made a call, hang up and view the log, it shows the date as the next day. Example: Made a few calls last night (Mar 08), then had to report date and time; after all calls made, viewed call log to get times and showed calls made on Mar 09. However, if I go to Messages / View Folder / Phone Call Logs, the dates are showed correctly. Any idea why this is?

I went into settings, call settings, additional settings, caller ID, show number and finally hit home. I have turned phone off then on and still when I phone someone it is appearing No Caller ID.
