My email icon, which is a transparent envelope, now has a small orange envelope inside it. I have no emails waiting, in fact I have cleared the inbox to be sure. I have consulted the icons PDF doc on the BB site but that doesn't list it. I have tried a re-boot.

Jan 3, 2010I've found the Email Notification on the homescreen very useful but now there is only a little gap between the Search button and the Calendar events. Disabling or enabling this option doesn't change anything whatsoever. I like new features but I prefer having no option rather than being teased by a half-arsed setting.

Jan 6, 2010I just got the bold 9700 ver. 2 from ATT and don't have the phone icon. It is not hidden, I looked, and not in any other folder. All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?

Aug 24, 2011On my first Photon and my wife's Photon the email icon is a bright red icon looking like an envelope.
When I updated my Photon I now have a gray borig @ sign icon. Where is the other icon? That seems to come if you set up email with another provider (I was initially using comcast). I tried creating comcast account again but it did not change the icon.
Is there a way to get that notifiacation icon back? Obviusly it can be done without being root.

Jan 14, 2010I had to transfer my info to a new phone, now none of the calendar entries are showing on the home screen. i've got 2 new calendars that i've never seen before, device default and unknown. those are in addition to my email calendar. DD = green, my email = blue, and unknown = yellow. the original entires are all green and DO NOT show up on the homescreen. any new ones i enter are yellow and DO show on home screen. any ideas why this is happening? i have a lot of future entires that i dont want to re-enter.
