I have cleared my e-mail in box, but can not get the e-mail icon on the top bar of the main screen to go away. It is still showing 1 e-mail, but there are none in my box. I turned it on and off and rebooted, but it is still there, showing 1 e-mail, but there are none. Is there a hidden e-mail somewhere I am missing. Also had a few random reboots. Brand new 9650 from Verizon.

Ever since then I have had the notification icon displaying the number 2 with the bb icon on my front screen. So now when I have two new messages it shows 4 and after reading the two it continues to display the two messages that don't exist.

It's my understanding that the BB Browser has to be manually changed back and forth in order to use Wi-Fi.

I had a curve 8330, then 8350, then tour 9630 and all worked fine with all alerts incuding a VOICE MAIL ALERT...BUT THE Bold 9650 No such luck! what the heck...no more voice mail alerts? I have to look for that stupid smaller than small icon.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the bold 9700 ver. 2 from ATT and don't have the phone icon. It is not hidden, I looked, and not in any other folder. All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI deleted the camera icon because on my Blackberry tour, you could access the camera option by going to media, and then going to pictures. For whatever reason, in this newest version, you cannot.
So my accident, I did delete the icon. And now, i have no idea how to get it back. I tried a couple backup features on the desktop manager, and have tried to do a couple other things and to no avail.
I had my email icon turn green once with aol listed under it and enjoyed the color on my home screen. Now its missing. I would like for it to look like this again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an errant "unopened" mail icon, It was on my old BlackBerry (an 8830) and when I got my new BlackBerry 9650, all was good, until I completed my enterprise synchronization, and guess what came back? now heres the rub, it shows (and as it did before) That it is a "Optimum on Line" email, not the email that is pushed by my enterprise server. So neither tech support will own the problem.

I know it was there earlier today since I went in to see if there were any BIS 3.0 changes (I didn't see any).Now it's gone.I still have all my e-mail accounts set up and they appear to be working fine, but the setup icon is gone.Has anyone else noticed this issue?Is there something going on with BIS?
