This is pretty frustrating - anytime I get an incoming phone call when my 9700 is set to Silent, it still vibrates. I've gone through the profile settings and alerts menus, and they all have vibrate set to OFF under the Silent profile. Battery pull has no effect. Anything else I should try?
View 5 RepliesAs the title says, while my phone is on silent (and even on "All Alerts Off"), my phone somehow seems to vibrate when a phone call comes in. It works perfectly fine on SMS and everything else; it's only a problem for phone calls. I have went into the profile settings and it is set to silent and vibrate off. I even have done a master reset of the phone. So I don't know what the deal is.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have checked the side button and that's not the problem. I get no sounds with incomming calls or when i receive texts or emails. My phone does vibrate. There is sound when music is playing. I've check all of the settings in 'calls' and 'phone'.

I am a long term blackberry user but I am at a loss as to what I have done to my 9700.
The ring tone just will not work or at least when someone calls me its silent. I have gone through every profile and rebooted a thousand times, but it just wont work. Any ideas?
I have a Blackberry Bold 2 9700. Till 2 weeks ago it worked perfectly, 2 weeks ago while I was sleeping my phone ranged, then I pressed a button(I am not sure but should be the mute button) and suddenly it started to ring only once(then it starts the vibration) while in holster. I looked every setting of it but could not find anything wrong.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter certain time in the phone all incoming calls show the same number in caller ID.The number that is shown will be the last call received before the problem starts.The call log shows the correct number but when call is received the same number is shown.This continues till the phone is reset. But it reverts back to the same issue after some time.I thought this was a problem with the phone and changed Handset and SIM card also, but still the problem came back after a couple of months. My service provider is not able to help me. I tried updating the software in the old phone but still the problem was there.This is driving me crazy since there are many calls I dont want to attend.

What I have found, though, is that if I push in on the screen slightly, it will produce sound. Why is this? Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
It is my understanding there is an application that will allow a phone to be located by calling the phone. It is supposed to work when the phone is in silent or vibrate mode.

The issue I am getting is frequently mobile is getting silent automatically No ringtone is ringing, when I am getting incoming call only display is coming, when I am receiving call I cannot hear anything. So everytime I have to switch off mobile and remove battery and restart the phone again, for sometime everything is working fine but after some hours again getting silent.
I've had a 3GS iphone for about a year and a half and just last month it has started to randomly vibrate. Whenever I switch it to silent mode I will set my phone down and the bell symbol will continue to pop up as if I'm switching it on and off of silent mode. Every time the symbol pops up it vibrates. Sometimes it will do it five or six times in a row when it's just laying on a table. How I can make it stop?

I am a new Blackberry user and have been loving every minute of the 2 weeks i have spent with it up untill last Friday. I took the battery out for the first time and since putting it back in my BB now vibrates and the led light flashes yellow every 2minutes or so. I can't make or answer any phone calls with just the phone. My speakers work fine with music or other apps. The one thing I installed today was a program called GPS Track (http://widgety.biz/GPStrack/) for collecting the GPS info and uploading it to TrailGuru.com. The problem started shortly after I used the program the first time, so I suspect it has something to do with it.I deleted the application, but that didn't help. I've tried a battery pull several times, I downgraded the OS from 5.0.0.463 to 5.0.0.296. Nothing seems to help. Right now I'm upgrading the software to 5.0.0.645, but I don't have great hope. Anyone have an idea?

I am having a lot of problems trying to get my blackberry to function properly. Yesterday, I was going for a walk and decided to plug in my headphones into my blackberry and listen to some music. It worked really well until I pulled the headphone jack out and now when I make a phone call, the phone switches from headset to handset over and over again. I have tried resetting it, pulling the battery, etc. but nothing has worked. How can I get this to work properly?
