I was on my way home on the train and running low on batteries, but thought i had enough to quickly browse the applications.I'd installed the free Time app earlier that day and checked it out, and it wasnt really to my taste, so I decided to delete the app. It warned me the blackberry would need to restart which was fine, only it turned off and didnt come back on.I thought it had just ran out of battery but now after four hours of charging, and plugging it to my PC the blackberry still wont start. My laptop wont even recognise its plugged into anything and every button I press just gets the flashing red light.
I have an 8700g Blackberry phone and I mistakenly downloaded an application that is only supported by software version 4.0 or greater. ( my phone had software version 2.2? ) . I had to replace the battery today and when I put in the new battery, it tried to start up but the red light comes on and the hourglass flashes on and off but after two hours it will still not start up. What should I do?
my sons blackberry curve wont turn on but the red light flashes twice then waits a few seconds and it flashes ahain . he has only had the phone a few months , also when i plug it into the blackberry desktop manager it doesnt reconise the devise and neither will it charge up , i hve changed the battrie and its still the same

I changed the battery on my Z2, to which I knew was better, after that it doesn´t starts only flash red 3 times when I press the on button, put in the second battery that sat in the beginning the same phenomenon flashes 3 times refuses to start, the worked without problems before I changed battery.
If got a blackberry curve 8520 my phone does not want to startup the red lite comes on and after a minute the red light starts flashing and does not stop until I remove the battery my does not want to go on at all.
This only happens sometimes, but it causes me to pick up the phone when there is nothing new. does anyone know why it does this? (is there another reason it would flash besides new emails or txts or other messages) I have firmware 21.024.
I have the blackberry bold 9700 the LED light to alert you of messages etc. Will not stop flashing. I pulled out the battery and that's when the flashing started I thought pulling the battery out again would work but it hasn't stopped it flashes several times stops and flashes again a min later. I checked all apps and messages but cannot find any alerts. Its been over a week but the problem has not corrected itsel
Similar posts out here and can't find an answer: I have a BB Bold that was working fine today. Since 5:30 ET, it has gone to a black screen. When plugged in, the led light blinks 4 times, pauses, blinks 4 times, pauses, and so on. This blinking pattern has continued for hours. I unplugged and removed thte battery, and then returned the battery to the phone and plugged it in again with no improvement. The phone will not turn on and continues to blink as described. There has been no drop or moisture damage to the unit. Any ideas as to what is going on?
My sms messages are all messed up. They are in the wrong order, and the red light won't stop flashing, even after I've read and replied to an SMS. I've tried to back it up using the desktop software but it get stuck at the smart-card bit and wont go any further, so I have to unplug it. How can I reset my phone to make this go away?
Phone turned itself off. Tryed plugging it into a wall charger and laptop usb cable to charge, but each time the red time stay constant for about a minute and then it changes to flashing four times quickly then a short pause and then flashing four times again (and it just repeats this over and over again.)
Alright where can I start... 3,5 weeks ago my X10i gave an android.error and quit... didn't start again and I got the red light flashing. Called t-mobile and send my phone for repairing. Last tuesday I got my X10i back. "part replaced" was the message. It functioned again, acted a bit strange as usual but it functioned. Yesterday I went home from work and I put my X10i in my pocket. When I got home I took the phone out of my pocket and noticed it was turned off... nothing weird because almost everytime I put it in my pocket I have to enter my sim-code when I get it out............ or it is turned off.... But this time it wouldn't turn on.
My issue is that the notification light on my 6760 always flashes regardless of if I have a new text/email/missed call. To check this, I set it so that it notifies me, but then unticked all the boxes for notification, eg: unticked 'notify for text', and 'notify for missed call' etc. So that it shouldn't ever notify me. To combat this I usually just turn this feature off, but I'd really like to use it as lately i've been missing a few important messages that have sat there for hours unnoticed.
My mum has only had her Sony Ericsson Zylo phone for one month and is experiencing problems with it. The phones back light flashes on and off all the time, even when the phone hasn't been in use for a period of time. What does this happen?
Before I take this phone back to the store I want to find out if this maybe the way that RIM is actually making this phone now. When I get a new email or text etc., the led light flashes red like all the blackberries do but it only goes for a short time then stops. It starts again when there is more emails but again stops.
I looked in the settings and cant find what I would adjust for this. Either the phone is defective or this is the way the phone is.Any help would be appreciated as I will need to take it back within the next day or two.
I recently purchased a BH-503 Bluetooth Headset. It worked great for the first few hours. Then I put it to charge, and the red light came on constantly. After a while, it went off so I assumed it was done charging. After that it wouldn't turn on. When I tried plugging in the charger again, the indicator light started flashing red slowly. And now thats all that it does. If the charger is plugged in, the red light flashes slowly, and when I unplug it, nothing happens. I tried the reset (press and hold multifunction key and volume up key) but it doesn't work.
I am currently not able to find any LED light settings on my 9810. The thing is that it flashes with red light only (not counting Wifi green light or Bluetooth connection - blue) when I receive a message. But when I miss any call, there is no flash light reminding me that! Friend of mine has older 9800 and he is getting blue flash light when having missed call. Also the red light reminding me missed incoming message goes off after a while. I would need that to flash until I read the message.

Phone is set to ring volume set to high.Rings for the first few calls then stops ringing and just flashes led light until I restart phone. Then above scenarios occurred again. This has happened with the 3 different firmware I have flashed.
Nordic 690 UK 726 3UK 726 PC companion doesn't work. Never happened on KitKat and a factory reset doesn't work either.
I tried to charge my phone on my computer and it would not charge and I saw that the batteries light would flash three times when trying to open the unit?? I am wondering if I should go see my provider or if there is a fast fix for that?
I recently updated my email program on my E75. Everytime I receive an email my select button light starts to flash, just like when I receive a text or have missed a call.
I left my phone charging last night, and when I woke up I just saw the red LED blinking, but it doesn't turn on. THE DISPLAY DOESN'T TURN ON EITHER, so it's not the problem in which the phone reboots over and over. The LED just blinks and then a long blink and then a pause. My computer won't recognize my cellphone. I tried batter pull but it didn't work.
2 weeks ago i picked up a used BB 8310 off freecycle, the woman had upgraded and didnt need it so she wanted to give it away. Score!. I finally got around to ordering a new battery for it because she kept the one it came with, and the battery showed up saturday.I put the new battery in the phone turned it on and nothing. So i plugged it into the wall charger and all i got was the red LED for 2-5 seconds and then nothing. does the same thing when you plug it into the USB.Is this a bad battery or is the phone a total loss? im sad because i was so excited to use my new phone and i still cant.
