I frequently lose signal in my work place because of bad coverage. When this happens, my phone is unable to retrieve any signal until I reboot it.Â
I have tried activating and de-activating Airplane Mode to get the phone searching for a signal again, but this no longer works.Â

Got my bb about 2 months ago and everything's working fine until today i couldnt retrieve email on my bb. i tried to reboot (hard) and reformat my phone but each time when i tried to reset the email settings, a message "your device had a problem connecting to the server" will appear.i'm using a bb bold 9700 currently.

The handset cannot be recognized by the desktop manager when it is plugged in. The handset ceases all its functions till the OS is restored or retrieved. One option is to go to the authorized service centre. But that is hundreds of miles away for from where I stay. Is there any other way that I can personally work on retrieving it.

A few hours ago I noticed that I had no signal on my phone (which is strange because I usually have good signal at work), and on closer inspection I could see the NFC symbol appearing/disappearing constantly in quick succession. After a few mins my phone then rebooted itself, and since then its been booting up, the NFC symbol does its flashing on/off for a few mins, then the phone resets again and the cycle continues!

I have just started experiencing problems with the signal quality of my iPhone 4s.When the 3G is turned on I have no signal at all (NONE!!). However, when I turn the 3G off I have a cellular network capable of sending/recieving call & texts but pretty much useless for everything else. No amount of hard resets/network resets or airplane mode switching resolves the issue.p.s I have just recently upgraded the OS to 5.1.

I have unlocked not jailbroken IPhone 4. It is currently running IOs 5.1 on baseband 04.12.01. Two days ago i went and got myself a new vodafone UK sim card from the shop. (i got the phone from friend of mine who got it form Vodafone UK shop Pay as You go) I put the sim in the phone, the carrier on the top came: Vodafone Uk but i don't have any signal bars. Also the 3G on the phone is working normaly but i dont have any signal, i cant call anyone on text anyone its just the 3G working properly. I went different playces to see is the problem only where i lived, i went to the next town and the next one.....NO CHANGE. I restored the IPhone because i thought that is some bug with the phone and maybe this will clear it and help me...NO LUCK.

Although, now after backing it up from iCloud, I can't access my music ? and also it's constantly asking for my apple ID but when it does in the email box is my brothers email account and not mine.

I have an iphone4 32G, the problem is a complete black screen, I'm unable to reboot it doesn't get picked up by itunes Pc, direct wall socket charging nothing happens so it is got me beat?.. i have tried everything but no hope, Has anyone else had this problem? is there a solution, besides having to pay $199 for hardware replacemente.

I have a iPhone 4 that signed up to Sprint, and I've had this for 5 months and nothing happened. Now my iPhone is not sending text messages or sending calls. Even when my Sprint signal is high, it doesn't seem for the text messages to go through or heck not even the calling. Only when my iPhone is in Extended "Roaming" it could send texts and calls. Is there any suggestions into solving this issue? Or do I need to replace this iPhone? I tried turning it off and on (didn't work), and Restoring the iPhone (still didn't work).

I live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
I get an error message saying, "Could not retrieve message content. Try again later. I try again later and still no photo.

I noticed today that when I looked in my pictures, a lot of the ones I've 'deleted' actually showed up in the folder - or at least the thumbnail did. When I tried to open it properly I got the message 'unable to display file'. Is there any way I can get these pics back? Clearly they're in the phones system somewhere. I've done the media - explore - media card - pictures - show hidden etc but it still doesn't let me access them fully.

- Full restart cycle
- Disable my Mobile Network and use only wifi for internet access.
- Disable Wi-Fi and use only the Mobile Network.
- Restore my first device backup when I got it right out of the box.
- Use alternative Wi-Fi networks (Open)
It appears out of nowhere that I am unable to retrieve or send e-mails with my blackbery Torch when I am connected to the 3G network. Only when I connect to wifi am I able to do so. I called AT&T and was informed that there is a glitch in the blackberry OS that RIM is working on, but it appears that when you connect to wifi it creates an issue that makes it unable to get or send e-mail via 3G from now on.This is a terrible problem and I am seriously pissed off. For those of us that use our blackberry for e-mail and are not near a wifi spot, this is a terrible inconvenience.

I have spoken to Motorola Support, up to Level 2. Motorola told me that in order to fix the phone, they "have to perform a Master Reset." I asked if they could put a notification to the Repair Dept. to "not do a Master Reset?" I was again told by Motorola, they "have to do a Master Reset." If a Master Reset is done...I'll lose all my text messages! Which is why I need the phone repaired. I won't be using the phone, in the future. I also agreed to pay the cost for repairs. I can get my phone repaired, or whatever I have to do, so I can retrieve these text messages. The texts are from 1 person, they are locked and their are 379 texts. I NEED THESE TEXTS FOR A COURT CASE...The texts are evidence for myself, the Plaintiff.
View 8 Replies View Relatedi was updating my e63 yesterday to v400 and at about 2 min left, my software updater roze and the phone stuck at blank screen. i pressed green, 3 and * button as it was xplained in faq, and i was able to boot up my phone. now, few things are missing,ike tiger woods game, facebook, Internet applications. they have shortcuts but not on the phone, maybe something else, but this things are noticeable. i can live with it, but what i can't live is connecting this phone to pc and sync, and future updates. ftware updater won't recognize the phone anymore giving me error "unable to retrieve device information". i disconnected the battery, tried to reinstall ovi suite and software pdater, but nothing works. today i took my phone to work, and was trying to run ater on this computer with clean install (never had any nokia software on isachine). same error message "unable to retrieve device information". the updater suggest to install updater (done!), unplug the usb (done!), remove battery for 10 sec nothing seems to work. well, the phone still works, even though i lost wlan in one of the restarts, but overall the phone is functional. i made calls, sent messages, installed few applications, listening radio right now.

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently I discovered that when I navigate to a particular contact (it just happens to be the people I talk, email, text with most often) their information doesn't open up when I click on the trackpad.This only seems to be happening with specific contacts and not the majority of people in my address book.At this point I can only get my frequent contact's specific information (phone numbers, email addresses etc) by clicking the trackpad to find their contact name, clicking again on the menu key (I cannot click view either) and then selecting email, call, sms, mms etc and only then can I do the specific task.This is a new problem so I'm wondering if I've turned off some feature on my frequent contacts when I updated my FAcebook app on my phone.
