I have an iphone4 32G, the problem is a complete black screen, I'm unable to reboot it doesn't get picked up by itunes Pc, direct wall socket charging nothing happens so it is got me beat?.. i have tried everything but no hope, Has anyone else had this problem? is there a solution, besides having to pay $199 for hardware replacemente.

When i Switched off it .it went into Restore Mode then i Jailbreaked it using blackra1n ,After the Jailbreak Process My phone didn't Rebooted and .from that time its notresponding only black screen is observed ...lthough when i Connect it to PC i Hear a beep Sound.and a Message "iPhone Connected in restore Mode". i Pressed the Standby and Home Button For 30-40 secnds also But no Results.

Just got my 5.1.1 patch over air and next time I reboot the device, only Google and Android logos greet me, after that only black screen (but OS boots, because I can take screen shots of the black screen. Only option is to press power long and shut the device down. Cache wipe did not work.

A few days ago my phone froze (as usual) so l pulled out the battery so it would reboot and that'd fix the problem, right? BUT, after waiting almost 3 hours i got NOTHING. I have an iPhone 3 and just got a hand-me-down 4 from my nephew. I've got my AT&T number/account transferred to the iPhone4, and am trying to move everything from the 3 to the 4, and am having a problem getting all the data, apps, etc. backed up to my Mac iTunes so that I can "restore" them to the 4. Some stuff backs up (contacts and text messages, in particular), but none of my purchased apps. I've tried the following steps: Deleted all previous backups and manually started a new backup. This only results in about a two-minute backup, and same result (no purchased apps)Created a new user account and tried a new backup in iTunes. Same result.Erased all settings and data in my new iPhone 4 and tried a "new iPhone" restore from the iPhone 3 backup. Same result. In this case and the other "restores," I'm also getting duplicate contact entries!
Additionally, I went to the AT&T store to try to get the iPhone 3 "unlocked" so that I can pass it down the food chain to a relative who wants to use it on another carier, and found that most folks in AT&T and Apple customer service have yet to "get the memo" on unlocking AT&T iPhones that apparently came out last Friday (4/13!), and can't figure out how to get me the Apple unlock code for the phone. They say, "We're working on it!"

I got the iPhone 6 on launch day, setup Touch ID and it has been working flawlessly. Today, it wouldn't read any of my fingers. I went into settings and none of my fingerprints show up and when I touch any of the three "USE TOUCH ID FOR:" items (which currently are turned off (no green in the toggle) to try and turn it on for that service it goes to the Touch ID setup screen, but IMMEDIATELY goes to a second screen that says "Failed. Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again."Â

Currently the touch screen works but there is a problem. I am unable to answer calls as the screen goes black and does not turn on again until the person has hung up or until i reset the phone. Also when i try to call out the screen turns black as well and exhibits the same symptoms as listed above.
From people who have had experience with cracked Nexus 5 screens, do you think replacing the digitizer + lcd will fix this issue or did i screw up something big

Now it can´t turn it on if i try to turn it on it shows the regular boot (sony xperia shows up) and the the screen goes black.
Tried to repair it with pcc but on the stage that i should connect the usb cable to the phone and press the down button nothing happens. So what to do?
I have tried all possible solutions to get it to recover but have not been successful and now waiting on a replacement unit from Verizon. She cannot send emails at all. An error message pops up saying "Unable to complete command" and then exits composition mode when trying to create a new email. I have been in contact with the tech support guys at work who're in charge of the Exchange server, but this user's account is just like everyone else's. We have tried doing the *#7370# trick several times as well as even swapping units - the units work with other users. Just not her. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am helping out a friend who has a Nokia 6280. She claimed that it's infected by a virus because her problems started after using a Bluetooth headset. I don't quite believe this as I've heard it's more likely to be struck by lightning than to have this phone infected with a virus. Anyhow, the problem is the following: When you power on the phone, you get the Nokia handshake, then the phone loads. However, as soon as the phone loads, a bunch of black lines appear to streak across the screen rendering it black. That's not a huge issue because it goes away after a few seconds. Now I've read this could be an issue related to the ribbon that connects to the screen, but the screen turning black does not occur in any other instance other than right after when the main screen appears. I can play with the slider all day and nothing will happen, but like clockwork the problem appears after the phone loads.What gives? The phone works fine otherwise, so what could the problem be? If you need any more information I will be happy to provide. I've uploaded a video of this issue here (using my 5800 XpressMusic at night - the quality isn't that great sorry, but it does show the problem). Pardon the audio - my kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants so you might want to turn the audio all the way down! I guess my question is two-fold:
1) can this in fact be the result of a virus?
2) if this isn't due to a virus, what is it due to?

A few months ago, I dropped my phone (the day before my case came in the mail, of course) and the screen went fuzzy, much like an old box tv for several minutes, then rebooted several times before catching up to itself. I'm not sure what on earth happened because of this drop, but since then I have had a huge amount of issues.
First- I cannot complete certain updates on my phone, including some system updates such as for "extras+info" and "Lumia Camera". I get the error code 80070539 on these failed updates, but I do not believe that is the real reason these apps will not update. One method I used to fix this was to make sure I accepted updated terms and conditions for Microsoft, which completed some updates, but I still have several left waiting.
Second- Several apps and processes just do not work at all. Example: settings>applications>photos+camera the screen begins to flip over to the photos+camera menu, then abruptly stops before returning to the applications menu. This exact scenario happens to several other processes throughout the phone, including the calendar app, adding new emails and accounts, etc.
Third- I cannot backup my phone. This is a major problem as I have an abundance of files that I desperately need on my phone, but whenever I attempt to backup my phone, it may make it up to 97% maximum before it says the backup failed. This is the primary reason I haven't attempted a hard reset yet, and I would prefer to avoid doing a hard reset unless we can manage to fix at least the backup issue.
Fourth- My computer will not recognize my phone. I am running a laptop with Windows 8.1, all my drivers are up-to-date, I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, etc. but the computer doesn't even recognize that I plug the phone in, even though my phone still charges at a normal rate. I have also tried different computers and different cables. Nothing has proven useful. There is not a place in my computer that I can find a trace of detection of my phone, not under devices/drives/anything.
I will try just about anything that doesn't involve losing all of my data.
My phone screen went blank/black for no apparent reason. Calls come in butcannotsee anything on screen.
