I have an iPhone 3 and just got a hand-me-down 4 from my nephew. I've got my AT&T number/account transferred to the iPhone4, and am trying to move everything from the 3 to the 4, and am having a problem getting all the data, apps, etc. backed up to my Mac iTunes so that I can "restore" them to the 4. Some stuff backs up (contacts and text messages, in particular), but none of my purchased apps. I've tried the following steps: Deleted all previous backups and manually started a new backup. This only results in about a two-minute backup, and same result (no purchased apps)Created a new user account and tried a new backup in iTunes. Same result.Erased all settings and data in my new iPhone 4 and tried a "new iPhone" restore from the iPhone 3 backup. Same result. In this case and the other "restores," I'm also getting duplicate contact entries!
Additionally, I went to the AT&T store to try to get the iPhone 3 "unlocked" so that I can pass it down the food chain to a relative who wants to use it on another carier, and found that most folks in AT&T and Apple customer service have yet to "get the memo" on unlocking AT&T iPhones that apparently came out last Friday (4/13!), and can't figure out how to get me the Apple unlock code for the phone. They say, "We're working on it!"

I got the iPhone 6 on launch day, setup Touch ID and it has been working flawlessly. Today, it wouldn't read any of my fingers. I went into settings and none of my fingerprints show up and when I touch any of the three "USE TOUCH ID FOR:" items (which currently are turned off (no green in the toggle) to try and turn it on for that service it goes to the Touch ID setup screen, but IMMEDIATELY goes to a second screen that says "Failed. Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again."Â
I've tried restarting my iPhone a few times and still have this identical problem. How do I get Touch ID to start working again?
What it says is this.."Provisioning Status".."The network is configuring your device".then it says "Your device could not be registered with the wireless network. contact your wireless service provider",but i can call and receive sms!Any suggestions?

I followed the instructions on how to activate my new phone and the Nokia music store said that the phone was already registered. I have contacted Nokia who suggested creating a new account (which didn't work). i am currently waiting on Nokia to get back to me but this is a very slow process. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

It then gives me the options to go thro in order to register.easy so far.I follow the instructions and go to the host routing table, and click on the register option..also easy so far.By the time I've come out of the menu, I have received a message from blackberry saying my blackberry has been registered to a wireless network. Excellent.When I got back to the setup email options, it is telling me that my device is not registered.

But the other day I transferred a premium theme. I paid for to my roomates s2 from one of my backup folders and it works perfectly fine. Does this mean that we could just share any app between storms as long as they don't ask for a reg code? Or was this just a fluke and it shouldn't have worked?

I installed a program from app manager , I dont remember the name of te application...everthing was installed correctly...then later I uninstalled and restarted the device.....but now the device only shows me a lot of small letters and restarts again. when I try to flash the phone in a xp 32 bit computer the system shows me that the driver is corrupted....and dont let me do the flash proccess wiht the maemo flasher 3.5.
