I have nokia E6-00 with belle, my device was working fine but recently i bought a new sim card. I am having the issue since my friend was trying to send me an MMS and I got an error:Memory low, unable to retrieve multimedia message close some applications first .This error is now very frustrating, even i am getting mms messages normaly but whenever I restrart the phone this error comes,Even I have formated the phone with all data erased but I got the same error again and again.
My cell phone has always been a Nokia. The latest upgrade with AT&T, I got the red Nokia 6350. Phone works fine except that I am not able to send or receive multimedia message from my family and friends. Is there a feature on the phone that I did not turn on to make this work? MMS messages always received with a message read: :"Multimedia Message error, unknown network error".
I can't download mms attachments in the S6 message app. I always get the "failed to download attachment from multimedia message. Try again later" response. The attachments are pictures sent from my wife's iPhone 6s.
On my current SII (before the ics upgrade & after) whenever sending an SMS text message over a certain length, the message "converting to multimedia message" appears. This did not happen with with my previous SII. It is mildly annoying.
I am getting this error even after restarting the phone. I've got the BestTaskMan app which allows me to close all applications apart from the system critical ones but it still doesn't work.
When I try to forward a text message to more than 10 people by using the contacts menu to select the recipients, the message changes from text message to multimedia message.
Since, I do not have a subscription for multimedia messages with my service provider, the message remains in the outbox and never gets sent.
Can someone advice why the text message converts to multimedia message? How to prevent this from happening everytime I send/forward text message to more than 10 people from the contacts list?
I have a galaxy S 5 and i had a pop up as a notification it reads; Sign-in Failed for my email, I'm already logged in, does this mean some one else is trying to log in?
The multimedia key on my Nokia N79 is broken (nr 3 in the picture). My plan was to map the 'multimedia menu' functionality on the left selection key (nr 2). But the 'multimedia menu' doesn't appear in the list of possible mappings. It is also impossible to reach the 'multimedia menu' via the normal menu.
Conclusion: if the multimedia key is broken, it appears that it is impossible to use the 'multimedia menu'
Does anyone know a workaround? Or, if Nokia is reading this, can you add the 'multimedia menu' to the mapping-options for the selection keys?
I've been loving the 5.1.1 update but the messaging app has been a mixed bag, I've seen others complaining about the greyed out texts with timestamp and it's great group chats work now, but the problem I have been having is that the group chat messages don't come through about 80% of the time, I got a message of "you have a multimedia message ready to be downloaded" then when I try to download it I get a failure message.
I keep getting the unsupported multimedia file error message when some people send pics. Both are from Iphones, but yet I have received others from an Iphone!
My handset crashed due to loading 3rrd party applications. I get a message on the screen 'Reload Software:552' when I switch on the handset. The handset cannot be recognized by the desktop manager when it is plugged in. The handset ceases all its functions till the OS is restored or retrieved. One option is to go to the authorized service centre. But that is hundreds of miles away for from where I stay. Is there any other way that I can personally work on retrieving it.
While entering an SMS (text), when I reach a certain unknown number of written characters my N8 pops up message saying, 'Message type changed to multimedia msg.' There's-one-little-glitch: Where I live MMS service is - not - available! If I delete even one (1) character I get another pop up saying, 'Msg type changed to text msg.'
Nokia's solution: When the N8 tries to convert to mms go to Options > Sending Options > msg type > Text. Nokia's solution fails immediately after pressing 'Options' because there is NO 'Sending Options' option to select! How - can I disable/remove/get rid of this unwanted/forced MMS change over so I can write and send as many characters as I want/need in SMS (text).
Got my bb about 2 months ago and everything's working fine until today i couldnt retrieve email on my bb. i tried to reboot (hard) and reformat my phone but each time when i tried to reset the email settings, a message "your device had a problem connecting to the server" will appear.i'm using a bb bold 9700 currently.
I have Nokia 701 and every time I use the Facebook of the Social application to view photos it keep saying "Failed to retrieve album" this happened in the previous revision and keep happening in the recent 1.5 revision.
So I have a galaxy s5 made with Verizon that my mother bought for me unlocked and so I use at&t service and Sim card. I can send regular text messages fine but multimedia is an issue. I cannot send multimedia. I use the app that came on the phone that says Messaging instead of the Verizon messaging app. I'm not sure if I can use the Verizon one since I have at&t service. It is too expensive to switch everything to Verizon instead of the at&t stuff I bought. So... when I try to send a pic it takes forever and then says it failed everytime. If I try to select Download on any pic sent to me it takes forever then just doesn't ever do anything. I'm not sure why I'm having this issue and I've looked around for answers but haven't found anything that works. I've restarted the phone and my data is turned on. I have turned the WiFi on and off. What can I do to fix this and send and receive pics?
I backed up my iphone 4 to itunes (not icloud) yesterday, and today i went to the apple store to see if they could fix a broken lock button. They issued me a new phone, and assured me that i woult be able to retrieve my camera roll photos after restoring my phone from backup. Everything restored to my phone EXCEPT the photos. Some of them are very important to me and i would like to know if there is a way to retreive all of the photos through my computer, phone or itunes.
I know there are other software that may help to retrive the data but it doesn't work with encrypted backup. Now i have the password, i have the encrypted backup (failed to recover in itunes). What can i do? is it possible to remove the password from the encrypted backup provided that i have the password?
I just bought this phone a few days ago. I am very excited and start playing with the camera. after a few shots and a few mode change, the phone freeze and restart. then i open the camera app again it shows only black screen and a camera failed message
i tried using other camera app but it's no use. the phone has no warranty in my country so i could not have a replacement.
been to the samsung service center also but still no luck.
Every day I get this message at the top of the screen stating:
"CONTACTS BACKUP" - network connection failed.
When I click it to get rid, it appears again the next day ..... I've been into the Contacts Menu and looked at Import/Export and More/Settings but I don't really know what to cancel or untick.
I was on Verizon with a Droid 2 when you did the 2.3.3 test a couple of weeks ago. On 10/9/2011 I moved to Sprint and bought a Photon 4G. I just updated my HEX MEID in this forum profile. My phone did the initial reboot but came back with Update Failed.Update Motorola Software says. An Update is currently being downloaded. You will be notified when the download is complete. There is no indication anything is happening. It's been this way for close to an hour now.
My torch started to reboot itself very frequently today. I decided to do an update, only finding that during the process it failed. I cleared out the OS (Wipe) and tried to load a new one. But, during the process connecting to JVM, my phone always restarts failing the whole process. I am using desktop manager btw.
