Motorola Photon 4G :: Phone Turns Off When Set On Metal Surface?

If I set my phone on a metal service and let the screen turn off, it turns off EVERY time, without fail. The only way to turn it back on is by removing and replacing the battery. I've gotten pretty good at avoiding metal surfaces now, but occasionally I forget, and it's a major inconvenience.Is anyone else having this problem? Could this be related to the SoD problem? I have many apps installed, but this has happened with a fully loaded phone and a recently formatted phone, so that's not the issue. Any type of metal surface causes the phone to turn off. Some examples: inside my desk drawer, on a metal table at a restaurant, on top of a napkin dispenser.I reiterate: this has happened when the phone is brand new, untouched, and when the phone is fully loaded. It also ONLY happens on metal, and has never once turned off while sitting on any other surface.
