I am wondering, as I am trying to transfer pictures, and I am using both Adobe Bridge, Photoshop CS5, Camera RAW, and the Verizon application. None of these are able to pull the pictures from the phone, and it is station that the jpeg format is invalid? I did use the 8MP settingas this phone actually takes decent pictures(at least from the look on the screen) and I would like to use them?

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe other day, my wife accidently took a video rather than a simple still photo with our Droid X. All but the first few frames were not usable, but it was over 3 minutes before I realized what happened. Now I have this long video and I want to extract a still image from the first few seconds of the overall clip. How do I do this? I tried uploaded the file to my computer (running Windows XP SP3) but I don't have any s/w that will edit the file that was in .3gp format.
I guess there's no way to edit the clip on the camera? Assuming not, how to edit that format?
Just purchased the phone and I am unable to install any apps from the Google Play Store. They all come back with the Error. Package file is invalid message. Not sure why since this is a brand new phone with nothing added.

View 6 Replies View Relatedam trying to fully clean up my phone for the next potential owner by doing a cache wipe, wiping all data from the phone and doing an SD card format.I had no problems getting into the recovery console and doing the cache & data wipe, but every time I go into settings/storage (in the normal phone powered up mode), the option to format the SD card is greyed out? I was able to connect the DX in PC mode to my computer and manually delete the items on it, but I wanted to do a clean format.

What I am hoping to find out is that the picture I wanted the most is still showing on the Photo Gallery start page/ Desk Top, or what ever it is called on a phone. Where is this image coming from and can I save it back to my gallery?
Sometimes when I take pictures and/or videos with my phone, I can't see the picture or video on my phone. I take a photo. The phone acts like it took a photo. I see a thumbnail initially. When I try to view it again, there is just an icon and the photo is gone. It will say it isn't viewable or a video isn't playable. Can't view them if I transfer them to my computer either. I don't understand what the problem is because sometimes it works just fine. I can still see old photos or videos. The formats are exactly the same as the old photos. I didn't change the settings.

I think when I recieved the replacement phone, I forgot un unmount the SD card from the old phone.When I plug the phone into my computer, I see that photos are stored in the DCIM folder for both the E: drive Removable disk and in K: drive MOT. Why is this? Should I drag the photos from K: over to E: ?Also, I am using Quickpic as a gallery viewer so I can store the photos in folders.

With all the digital media in my life, I have automated a lot of processes to organize and make things consistent, so when I find something that makes the job harder, I really loathe it.
I am unable to utilize the quick upload (to FB) for my pictures. I have pulled the battery and contact Verizon Wireless support via phone with no luck. Anyone have suggestions or have also experienced the problem. I am able to share photos via text or from the FB app.
