I am unable to share my photos on my Milestone X with my computer. I just updated my drivers and my pc will not acknowledge that my phone is plugged in via the usb port, so I cannot load the my photos on my pc.
my sister has the last remaining pics of our father on her AT&T Razr just prior to his death in 2008. She no longer has phone service to this phone nor does it have a memory card. I went to RadioShack and was told that using this "Gigaware"~ 'USB-A Male to Mini USB-B Male retractable Cable'I wouldn't need to install a driver or program to download the photos. My PC recognized the Motorola but that's all it does. I have tried searching online for a program/driver to use but am hitting dead ends. Its all so ambiguous to me. I tried using Motorola's Media Link for Windows--a dead end.i have tried BitPim as well -another dead end.One more thing, I too have an old Razr through VERIZON (no longer in service) which is the one i have been using as a guinea pig. My sister had used AT&T on her Razr. Does that matter much in re to downloading? Is Verizon's phones more protected than others?
We bought a Xoom to use on vacation instead of taking a laptop. I want to download photos and videos taken with my Canon Camera into my Xoom. I have the adapter for the Canon that allow me to convert the SDHD to a Micro SD, so that I can pop in ito the Xoom. I can view the photos fronm the Canon card on the Xoom, but it won't let me download them into the device. I don't want to have to go thru a computer to do this. So is it possible to download from the SD card onto the Xoom.
Also, when we watch the videos that were recorded on the Canon with the Xoom, they are at a slowed down speed. Would seem that if they were actually downloaded to the Xoom, it would take care of this issue.
I do not want to use the Xoom to take these photos. My Canon camera is the device we will use to capture the photos for multiple reasons.
I need to export a few photos from my RAZR to my 2011 mac pro... The computer reconizes the phone but can't figure out how to export them. I thought i did as it was syncing but a message popped up saying the photos were not the right format or something like that... Phone is plugged in using USB?
My SD card recently fail so I lost all my photos and music. I only had a couple of pictures but there was 1 that I really wanted to keep. I just installed my new SD card.
What I am hoping to find out is that the picture I wanted the most is still showing on the Photo Gallery start page/ Desk Top, or what ever it is called on a phone. Where is this image coming from and can I save it back to my gallery?
Sometimes when I take pictures and/or videos with my phone, I can't see the picture or video on my phone. I take a photo. The phone acts like it took a photo. I see a thumbnail initially. When I try to view it again, there is just an icon and the photo is gone. It will say it isn't viewable or a video isn't playable. Can't view them if I transfer them to my computer either. I don't understand what the problem is because sometimes it works just fine. I can still see old photos or videos. The formats are exactly the same as the old photos. I didn't change the settings.
I am probably on the wrong section but, I have a Milestone X and I delted some important pictures and I was wondering is there anyway I can recover them?
I recently recieved a replacement DX2. I think when I recieved the replacement phone, I forgot un unmount the SD card from the old phone. When I plug the phone into my computer, I see that photos are stored in the DCIM folder for both the E: drive Removable disk and in K: drive MOT. Why is this? Should I drag the photos from K: over to E: ?Also, I am using Quickpic as a gallery viewer so I can store the photos in folders.
I just got several texts from a couple of my contacts and another one that I don't know. They said "New MMS message to download: size 1KB, expires on 3/21, 8:54 PM." If i click download, it attempts to download it but fails. I'm using Hangouts, I haven't given my phone number out recently, and if it matters I'm using a beta test version of Nova.
I have been waiting for this update for some time now, and I am sure there are plenty of other people that have been. I personally love my droid 2, but I am something of a IT guru, and have worked out all the bugs for myself and my friends... took me 3 SBF's to do it as I broke a feature or 2 my phone a few times in the process until I fully grasped exactly what kind of structure that android runs on... You should really consider allowing the tech junkies to download it with a big warning that things are still in process of being fixed. I am sure that anyone that goes digging this far for the update will understand the risks, and be glad to help give debugging and q/a support to the team. Android is an open source based system, and as such the community that uses it is on the whole a tad more savvy than that of other systems. Just open up a thread where we can all come and check in with issues, and workarounds and sticky it so everyone can find it easily.
I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with a hands-off system. My Droid Razr will pair with the system and will operate but wii not download the contacts list so that I can use the voice actuated dialing system. How do I get the phone to download the contacts?
Attempted to download Pandora. The Downloading bar is running constantly. When I click the "x" to stop the download, I get a message: "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." How can I stop this and how can I remove the orange diamond with an exclamation mark from appearing in my Status bar?
I have a Droid x that does not consistently download my email. I have an at&t acct. Don't get messages. My gmail acct gets them just fine. How can I sync the two accounts. The steps don't work anymore.
My camera died and I heard the Droid Turbo had a great camera so I killed two birds with one stone. I purchased a new phone and got a great camera at the same time. Now the problem. I must have date taken on my photos. I don't print photos, I send them to other people. How can I get date taken on my photos?
So, when using most camera apps, the EXIF data (specifically Date Taken) is not filled in for any picture taken with this phone. Is there a way to enable this field? I have tried at least 4 different apps and was hoping the ICS upgrade would do it, but no love. What is up with this major failure?
With all the digital media in my life, I have automated a lot of processes to organize and make things consistent, so when I find something that makes the job harder, I really loathe it.
I am unable to utilize the quick upload (to FB) for my pictures. I have pulled the battery and contact Verizon Wireless support via phone with no luck. Anyone have suggestions or have also experienced the problem. I am able to share photos via text or from the FB app.
Every time I take a photo in portrait mode and then upload to email, text or face book, the photo is automatically sent out in landscape format. How do I have the phone send the photo out the way I took it.
I have a blackberry and an iPod that both sync contact photos with my Exchange 2010 server.
I just got an android and everything works except my contacts do not have photos.
Is a new version of the OS going to fix that issue or is the only solution for the forseable future a 3rd part app to sync the contact photos? I'm not talking about gmail, facebook or a USB sync
I am talking about a wireless over the air contact sync's with my Outlook 2010 through an Exchange 2010 server.
I am wondering about the speed potential of the Razr. I am not to concerned about having 4g at this time, my primary use of my current Droid (D1) is so I can have my photo albums with me and organized the way i need them to be (that's why I will not get an Iphone) when I go to conventions as I need to be able to go through them with vendors. My current issue with the D1 is its slow response time when going through the albums and apps, how do you think the Razr is going to perform when dealing with photo albums and opening and closing pictures in a quick manor. The lagging is irritating when most of the vendors I deal with have Iphones and can go through the pictures a lot quicker then I can.
