I have a Droid x that does not consistently download my email. I have an at&t acct. Don't get messages. My gmail acct gets them just fine. How can I sync the two accounts. The steps don't work anymore.
View 3 RepliesMy phone doesn't consistently sync, even though I have push email enabled. Happens when I'm both connected to wifi and on 4G/3G. When it's not syncing, mail doesn't even sync when I open the app; I have to manually do it. Completely unacceptable, never had this problem on any other smartphone I've owned (which have all been HTCs). Maybe this is helpful, but the gmail widget and the email widget also do not consistently sync on my device. Maybe there's a trend here that points to a larger problem or solution. But I' m not worried about the widgets; I just want to be able to get my email onto my device, which should be happening with no issues.

The phone is set to check my emails every 15 minutes, and when the failure happens I get the yellow triangle and the message that the account name or password is incorrect. If I just wait for anything from one to six hours it starts updating again. All this time my aol accounts & gmail accounts sync fine. Does not matter if I am in one place for this time, or travelling and so passing through many different cells. The failure can happen any time of day or night. During these times my .me account is accessible via my laptop & ipod Touch.
View 5 Replies View RelatedOn my Droid Razr Maxx using Corporate Sync with the built-in email client attached to an Exchange 2010 server, when i receive an email that is digitally signed (but not encrypted) any and all attachments do not come with the email. (no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got several texts from a couple of my contacts and another one that I don't know. They said "New MMS message to download: size 1KB, expires on 3/21, 8:54 PM." If i click download, it attempts to download it but fails. I'm using Hangouts, I haven't given my phone number out recently, and if it matters I'm using a beta test version of Nova.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been waiting for this update for some time now, and I am sure there are plenty of other people that have been. I personally love my droid 2, but I am something of a IT guru, and have worked out all the bugs for myself and my friends... took me 3 SBF's to do it as I broke a feature or 2 my phone a few times in the process until I fully grasped exactly what kind of structure that android runs on... You should really consider allowing the tech junkies to download it with a big warning that things are still in process of being fixed. I am sure that anyone that goes digging this far for the update will understand the risks, and be glad to help give debugging and q/a support to the team. Android is an open source based system, and as such the community that uses it is on the whole a tad more savvy than that of other systems. Just open up a thread where we can all come and check in with issues, and workarounds and sticky it so everyone can find it easily.

Anyway, does anyone know the default download folder if you save a ringtone from a text sent from someone, like the Verizon site? I mounted the phone and it's no where on the SD Card. I also have a graphical interface app for the system folders and can't find it, but there are so many folders and no search feature. Anyone happen to know where a file would save by default? Reason being, it saved twice, so I have 2 copies on the list and I would also like to copy the file to another folder.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHave noticed that if I add a new widget from the market, the only way to get it to show up in the app tray is to power off/on the phone. I check the Apps Manager, and they are there, but not in the Apps/Widget tray until the power off/on sequence.
Do we need a refresh option in the tray or is this an isolated issue with my phone. Has anyone else experienced this.
I lost my data signal AGAIN while uploading a picture from Facebook. Now I have this orange triagle in the upper left corner of my screen and on the drop down menu is says "Download requires network" which I can not get rid of.

I tried to use WiFi and I can dl apps using WiFi.I called Verizon my internet is working, the browser is working but when I use my Data connetion I can go to the Market dl an apps a green arrow showed up and followed by a triangle with an exclaimation point. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a couple phones. Well, quite a few. It started when I could not download books to the Turbo. It just put an exclamation point in the title and says sorry, try again later. I try again later for several days, and nothing changes. On the other hand everything works fine on my other phones, and I can log into Amazon no problem. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kindle.
This is not a complete uninstall of course since Kindle is pre-installed and unless you root, you're stuck with it. But after I uninstalled the updates it still would not work. So I nuked from orbit by wiping the phone and reinstalling Kindle (well, updating the built-in version). Well, THAT changed it. Now it won't take the password. It allows me to CHANGE the password, and I did that. But even after changing it (successfully it said) and verifying that the new PW worked on another phone and on my laptop, it still won't take it. It says that username/password combination does not exist.
I've pulled the update 4 times, 3 times on wifi and once on the network. Every time the update finishes downloading, it verifies for a few minutes before saying it can't be verified and to try again. Does anyone know what I can do here?

I know there is GET HELP, Drivers, and a Motorola driver page for USB and Charging drivers. MotoCast is installed (and updated) and provided the necessary USB and Charging drivers. I know there is a Motorola program called MotoHelper 5.4.0. I have used these resources but they have not solved the problem with bluetooth peripheral device drivers. The message my Lenovo T61/Windows Vista computer gives me is: contact your device manufacturer for assistance getting this device installed.
