download on messages with pictures, i.e. 30kb in content, are extremely slow, takes over an hour, getting MMS configuration messages when attempting to send pictures. how to modify or re-set MMS speed or linkage?
View 1 RepliesI have a Samsung s4 active and all of a sudden the sound stopped working on my phone. Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a couple phones. Well, quite a few. It started when I could not download books to the Turbo. It just put an exclamation point in the title and says sorry, try again later. I try again later for several days, and nothing changes. On the other hand everything works fine on my other phones, and I can log into Amazon no problem. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kindle.
This is not a complete uninstall of course since Kindle is pre-installed and unless you root, you're stuck with it. But after I uninstalled the updates it still would not work. So I nuked from orbit by wiping the phone and reinstalling Kindle (well, updating the built-in version). Well, THAT changed it. Now it won't take the password. It allows me to CHANGE the password, and I did that. But even after changing it (successfully it said) and verifying that the new PW worked on another phone and on my laptop, it still won't take it. It says that username/password combination does not exist.
I used to use EVO 3D, and had touch screen problems. So I just changed the Photon. I got a problem with the 4G (wimax) connection speed. I used the speedtest app to test the speed and my speed kept falling in the 2xx range, while I have 2 or 3 bar signal. This even happened during the mid night. It is even slower than my 3G ev-do rev.A.By the way, how can I reset the radio? I used to be able to do it with ##3282# on the EVO 3D. However, I can't find it on the Photon.

When I open the message it has the option to download or reject. When I chose download, it doesn't happen. My old "non smart" phone never had this issue.

If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!

When I plug the Multimedia dock into the PC and dock my phone it does not.I moved from the Droid1 to the Droid4 and have a dock from my Droid1 that works as it should. The new Multimedia dock for my Droid 4 will not charge the phone while docked unless I plug it into the dedicated charging plug. Doing this, I lose the ability to transfer data back and forth via USB.

Every time I click on the 'home' button it goes to the home screen for the MultiMedia Base, and not the regular Droid home menu. This is a pain, because every time I want to use an app, I first have to press the 'X' on the MultiMedia home screen to get to the regular Droid menu.The worst thing about the Multimedia menu, is that on many phone calls I recieve while the phone is in the Multimedia base, when I 'X' out of the menu, it goes to the Droid menu and not to the Answer Phone window...by the time i get to the menu to answer the phone the caller is gone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid X which has the Gingerbread update received OTA. I do not know if this is a Gingerbread issue, I just know it started recently.
When I put my phone in the Motorola Multimedia Dock (SPN5612A) my phone rapidly cycles between charging and not charging. It constantly flashes the "Disconnected" message which advises that I unplug the power adaptor to save the Earth. Power cycling the phone does not change this behavior.
I have taken the plug from the back of the dock and plugged it directly into my phone and the phone charges normally, so I know it has something to do with the multimedia dock. I also use the Motorola Car Dock (don't know model #) and my phone charges fine there, as well as with several different power adaptors, including one from my old HTC Droid Eris.
I keep getting the unsupported multimedia file error message when some people send pics. Both are from Iphones, but yet I have received others from an Iphone!

I have the button unchecked for notification of full charge and I am on my second piece of hardware. Does anyone know how to stop the random notification sounds?

It is putting 2 or 3 characters in the message before I can lift my finger. Is this a hardware failure or is there a way to control the speed of this repeat like on a PC?This is a real PITA as I hate the on screen touch keyboard.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI felt like there was no difference with the speed of the ip4 than my 3gs. I gave my 3gs to my daughter and the other night she needed to me get her signed up for netflix. There is a significant difference. I thought she had did something to cause the speed to slow down so I restored her phone It was a little faster but not like my ip4. She doesn't have the jailbreak because for some reason I can't jailbreak her phone. I do have the jailbreak and even though I notice a slight lag it is still faster at opening apps than the 3gs. I knew there was a difference in the display but I didn't realize it was so big of a difference. I sometimes wonder did I just jump on board with buying the ip4 because besides the hardware it wasn't that big of a difference. But now I see there is a huge difference. The 3gs is a great phone but the ip4 is a much better phone. It is smoother and definitely faster and you can't beat the retina display. And by the way I never had any problems with the antenna because I immediately put my phone in a case for protection even before I heard about atennagate and I always use a bluetooth or headset for my phone so if I have the issue with the ps I never noticed.

I am not to concerned about having 4g at this time, my primary use of my current Droid (D1) is so I can have my photo albums with me and organized the way i need them to be (that's why I will not get an Iphone) when I go to conventions as I need to be able to go through them with vendors. My current issue with the D1 is its slow response time when going through the albums and apps, how do you think the Razr is going to perform when dealing with photo albums and opening and closing pictures in a quick manor. The lagging is irritating when most of the vendors I deal with have Iphones and can go through the pictures a lot quicker then I can.
