View 5 RepliesI imported my photos on my computer last night from my phone. Typically I do this by creating a folder on my desktop, copying and pasting from the DCIM folder on the phone. I then will open up Picasa where I edit my photos. All of these steps seemed to work as they normally do (status bar completed, etc) so I went ahead and deleted the pictures in the DCIM folder. When I went to edit the photos, I realized that only about 10 of them were there... not the over 100 I had saved.
Any ways to recover off some hidden spot on the phone? I tried a free app which located many of the photos that were deleted, however, none of the ones I actually needed, which were only taken hours before. I'm thinking they never had a chance to save wherever these recovered ones went?
How can I recover pictures that were saved on the phone and I deleted it by mistake?

I did not have any backup.Â
From what I have read, it is possible to recover the photos (ie, "don't use the iphone so the data is overwritten") but I have zero idea how to do that.Â

I opened the calendar shortcut from the circle time widget on the home screen of the droid turbo. While the calendar was opened, I hit the refresh button and now all of my events have disappeared! Everything-past,present,future gone. "Refresh" doesn't mean "delete" so I'm not sure what happened here but I had TONS of info in that calendar. How to recover the events?
View 12 Replies View RelatedMy Verizon Data App stopped letting me log in and after getting no response as to what might be wrong, I decided to just delete the app and then reinstall it on my homepage. After I deleted it, I went to all Apps and it's not there! So is there a way to Undo a delete or does anyone know how I can go about getting back the app that tells me how much of my data I've used?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI took over 30 photo's and 30 minutes of video today at my sons awards at school. I had sync turned off, all programs, Google, Dropbox, etc. I haven't rooted my HTC One M8 yet, so there's no other back up program running. I created a album in my gallery and copied the photos and video over to the album, the first option that pops up is to store them in "phone storage" I hit phone storage before I realized what I'd done. I didn't move them, I copied them. I went to Google photos and hit sync, then went back to the phones gallery, I had 2 copies of the photos and video, one set in the album I created and the other copy was on the camera. I was in a hurry when I did all of this. Normally when I create a album I move the pictures, not copy.
I went to Google photos and saw all the pics and video uploading, went back to the gallery and deleted the copy under the camera setting. The album I created is gone as well. Is there any way at all possible to retrieve them or are they completely deleted? I've sat here and repeated the exact same process with photos that are already backed up on Google and when I delete them from the camera they still appear in the album I created on the phone itself. I've created albums several times in the past and hit "copy" instead of "move", then go back and delete the copy under from the camera. I have Root Explorer installed and can't find them anywhere, I hooked my phone to my laptop and with no luck. if there's any way at all to get these photos back. it just made me sick to my stomach when I saw that I'd deleted the pics.
Hey so I accidently deleted photos from my camera roll just before and i plugged my iphone into the computer to restore it from the last back up but it just synced it instead.. Is there anyway I can restore my photos ?

I didn't back up anything on iCloud or iTunes, and I don't yet have iOS8, so I can't go to the recently deleted folder. I've googled it and downloaded three so-called recovery programs and they only recovered the photos I already had on my camera roll, so am I downloading the wrong programs? another way to recover these deleted photos.

I accidentally deleted a photo gallery on my sister's LG 4. I tried all the recovery programs available online. Most programs do not recognize the LG 4 for some reason I read but don't remember. I am also not techy enough to root the phone. It blows my mind that this smartphone doesn't have a recycle bin or a go-back feature where you can recover deleted items.

I've had my droid x for about a year and a half.I've downloaded pictures two or three times but not lately. The other day I downloaded 900 some pictures, mostly web pictures that I did not realize were in the phone, plus 100 or so of my photo's.I instructed the computer to delete the pictures in the phone. After the pictures were downloaded I was playing a game on the phone when Zap! the screen reverted to the screen that was on the phone when it was new, minus all the icons, apps and folders I had accumulated. The apps were still in the app folder, some were intact, some weren't, such as my audio books inside the book app weren't there. Also now when I talk on the phone I have to use the speaker. No audio what so ever comes out of the ear piece.Any suggestions oh how to recover my desktop(s)? and to get the ear piece speaker working?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWel, the subject line says it all - my Xoom just deleted every photo from the internal memory /mnt/sdcard/dcim/camera.
Using file manager HD I can see that the thumbnails folder is still there, with most of, but not all, of the thumbnails there - which would indicate that the photos are still on the internal memory, just not showing up.I can't use Wondershare Photo Recovery or any other type of recovery program because the Xoom uses MPT instead of mounting as a mass usb drive and therefore Windows won't allocate a drive letter.
Luckily I had most of the photos backed up on the sdcard (which was also wiped) and was able to recover them but I am still missing ones taken over the last few days.
Is there any way to recover these pictures / videos, or to have the Xoom mount as a mass usb device?
