Google Nexus 5 :: How To Recover Deleted Photos And Videos
Oct 15, 2014
my nexus 5 was having problems, I made sure to select the back up options and did a factory reset. I didn't back up my photos to my google+ page (which I didn't know at the time was a prerequisite) I only had them backed up to my gmail account. So I did the factory reset. Phone had saved contacts, google keeps but no photos or videos. Is their any hope for retrieval?
Today i was in a party. Way to home i move the videos and photos to a new album but after i deleted all images accidentally. I dont back up these in my pc.
Is there anyway to recover deleted photos that I lost while rooting the phone? Unfortunately, I had not activated the google photos backup at the time of root so I do not have them in the cloud.
Switching from a Google Nexus 5, where I used the Photos app (which i think has ties to Google+) solely. I liked because sync was in place and I could easily go on my photos.google.com and see the pictures there too (and share them).
Now it seems that with the Samsung Galaxy S6, the camera app writes to Gallery. I looked under the Application Settings for Photos and Gallery and neither one has Defaults setup, so I am not sure IF there is a way to force the Camera to use Photos, or force their "Messaging" (not Hangouts) to use Photos. It seems that when you use Messaging and identify a Photo manually from Photos, that it wont attach it, since it isnt ALSO in Gallery.
So I installed Google Messenger to test that vs the Samsung Messages. The Google Messenger, cant see the pics in Photos either! wild.
My phone had a real bad burning plastic smell. Once I noticed it, the phone just completely died, went black... My phone company is sending me a new one. But is there a way that I can get my photos/videos off of it? Even though it wont turn on? My charger fried as well.
I have accidentally deleted camera folder in quickpic app and lost all of mi important photos... How to retrieve those photos...I haven't added any backup options too....
I connected my iphone to my computer and manually deleted iphone photos via the computer File Manager.Â
I did not have any backup.Â
From what I have read, it is possible to recover the photos (ie, "don't use the iphone so the data is overwritten") but I have zero idea how to do that.Â
So I have a HTC One for VZ and I accidentally deleted the folder of the videos i have. I have tried umacsoft program, and some others but when i connect my phone it does not read it at all.
I took over 30 photo's and 30 minutes of video today at my sons awards at school. I had sync turned off, all programs, Google, Dropbox, etc. I haven't rooted my HTC One M8 yet, so there's no other back up program running. I created a album in my gallery and copied the photos and video over to the album, the first option that pops up is to store them in "phone storage" I hit phone storage before I realized what I'd done. I didn't move them, I copied them. I went to Google photos and hit sync, then went back to the phones gallery, I had 2 copies of the photos and video, one set in the album I created and the other copy was on the camera. I was in a hurry when I did all of this. Normally when I create a album I move the pictures, not copy.
I went to Google photos and saw all the pics and video uploading, went back to the gallery and deleted the copy under the camera setting. The album I created is gone as well. Is there any way at all possible to retrieve them or are they completely deleted? I've sat here and repeated the exact same process with photos that are already backed up on Google and when I delete them from the camera they still appear in the album I created on the phone itself. I've created albums several times in the past and hit "copy" instead of "move", then go back and delete the copy under from the camera. I have Root Explorer installed and can't find them anywhere, I hooked my phone to my laptop and with no luck. if there's any way at all to get these photos back. it just made me sick to my stomach when I saw that I'd deleted the pics.
Hey so I accidently deleted photos from my camera roll just before and i plugged my iphone into the computer to restore it from the last back up but it just synced it instead.. Is there anyway I can restore my photos ?
While trying to put photos in an album on my iPhone 4s, I inadvertently deleted the photos that I was trying to "move" into this album. can recover these photos?
i deleted my photos from my iphone4 accidentally and badly need them back. is there a recycle bin or equivalent on the iphone so that i can recover them?
I have had my G3 for about 2 years now, last week my phone screen went green then rebooted and when the phone turned back on it displayed a menu to either reboot or go into dload mode. If you choose to reboot the phone it would loop back to the same menu. I brought my phone to sprint and they said there was nothing they could do and that the phone had crashed. Now the phone turns on and goes to a blue screen and shuts off after the LG startup screen. I got a new phone but the issue i am having is that the phone has very important pictures and videos on it. Is there anyway to recover these?
I am probably on the wrong section but, I have a Milestone X and I delted some important pictures and I was wondering is there anyway I can recover them?
i have deleted some photos on my Aino 8Gb memory card, and as i don't have a card reader, i wanted to use a recovery program to recover them, as i did it once with my K800i. But when i get to the bit where i have to select the drive i want to scan, my phone doesn't show up. it is in 'My Computer', under "other", as U10i. is there any way i can select it?
I imported my photos on my computer last night from my phone. Typically I do this by creating a folder on my desktop, copying and pasting from the DCIM folder on the phone. I then will open up Picasa where I edit my photos. All of these steps seemed to work as they normally do (status bar completed, etc) so I went ahead and deleted the pictures in the DCIM folder. When I went to edit the photos, I realized that only about 10 of them were there... not the over 100 I had saved.
Any ways to recover off some hidden spot on the phone? I tried a free app which located many of the photos that were deleted, however, none of the ones I actually needed, which were only taken hours before. I'm thinking they never had a chance to save wherever these recovered ones went?
so I recently by mistake deleted a bunch of photos off my camera roll on my iPhone 5C. I didn't back up anything on iCloud or iTunes, and I don't yet have iOS8, so I can't go to the recently deleted folder. I've googled it and downloaded three so-called recovery programs and they only recovered the photos I already had on my camera roll, so am I downloading the wrong programs? another way to recover these deleted photos.
I read that if I remove my original pictures from my S6, all those pictures will be removed from my google photos as I am interacting with the cloud--instead of just my android phone. But I need to clear up some space on my 64gb phone.
