how to change my settings from png to jpeg format before the photo is taken as my laptop now wants me to get some software to convert this. Surely I can set this from my 4s to take photos in a particular format.

I am wondering, as I am trying to transfer pictures, and I am using both Adobe Bridge, Photoshop CS5, Camera RAW, and the Verizon application. None of these are able to pull the pictures from the phone, and it is station that the jpeg format is invalid? I did use the 8MP settingas this phone actually takes decent pictures(at least from the look on the screen) and I would like to use them?
