Any way to have it turn on without pushing the little button at the top? My old Crackberry would come alive as soon as I removed it from the pouch. Are there apps available or settings that will do something similar for the Atrix?

It was working fine until about 1:00 today. I have also noticed that double tapping the home key brings up voice commands. Is there any way to turn this off?

But when I tap on the arrow to reply to this message, I can type a reply but there is no send button. If I go to the actual message thread I can reply and send, no problem. Mine pushes in till the metal post stops but that leaves around 3/16th of an inch of the post exposed. This scares me that it will break off in the device. View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my Atrix since launch and it's been doing great, however just starting last night when I plugged it into both the wall, and then to the computer, it won't charge. It "sees" that the cable is plugged in because it lights up the screen, but it seems like the charging / usb port is dead for some reason. The battery is now totally dead and I have it plugged in, and all I get is a green light in the upper right hand corner, no display on the screen. I took out the battery and reseated it, no joy there.

After several failed attempts I noticed that the Bluetooth on the Atrix would not restart either from the Widget or settings menu. Turning the phone on and off repeatedly still would not get the Bluetooth to turn back on. Previous to this attempt at pairing with my PC the Bluetooth on my Atrix has been working just fine in my car.

I haven't been able to get it to turn back on. I've tried the hard restart (power and volumn buttons held down together) and I've tried connecting it to my computer but nothing works. Is there anything else I should try? Or do I need to just take it back to the AT&T store? I've only had the phone for a week and a half, so it's still within their 30 day thing.

View 4 Replies View RelatedLast Friday my D4 did a forced reboot out of nowhere, which resulted in the Data Manager somehow turning off the "Data Enabled" feature. It took me an hour of no internet/data connection to figure out what was going on.
Perhaps related, since then, Gmail no longer auto syncs or pushes messages to my phone. I have to manually refresh in Gmail for any new message to show up. This failure is highlighted when I am sitting there with my Xoom and my D4, and my Xoom gets mails all day long over 4G/LTE, but my phone is silent.
I have been all through my settings and can't figure out why Gmail won't autosync anymore.
Is there a way to link Facebook with Motoblur but Not sync contacts? On my Samsung Captivate you could turn off Facebook Sync.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter a weekend of operation I tried to turn WiFi on only to have it turn itself off after 15-30 sec. It happened 3 times before I powered down and back up, that fixed the problem. It may be a memory leak as the phone had been on for 3 days, or maybe it was related to the fact that it had gotten to a low battery state over the weekend and it turned off some services to save battery and didn't turn them back on after it was charged. I have very few apps loaded and dont think thats the problem, but I did use Googles navigator this weekend for the first time since I updated to GB.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am no longer able to turn on Bluetooth on on my Atrix. When I turn it on, it looks like it is turning on but then the widget and/or settings panel check box go back to the off state.
I've tried rebooting but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've seen other posts which recommend a factory reset but I would prefer to not do this as I only factory reset my phone about a week ago.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI loved how my old iPhone made it easy to click on phone numbers, email addresses, and links in emails, texts, web pages, etc. especially when I wanted to click on an address to show it on the map. My Atrix has never done that. Until recently I thought it was just something I had to put up with.
However, I got so frustrated I finally went looking for an answer. Now it seems that my Atrix is supposed to work the same way, so I'm wondering what the problem is with mine. It gets phone numbers and email addresses in emails, but doesn't recognize addresses.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or do I have a problem? I'm using the Gmail app for email.

This is getting very frustring to have it vibrate and it's not even discreet (it sounds like a loud buzzing noise on the other end). The person on the other line keeps asking what's that buzzing sound?This ISN'T a feature, in fact it's annoying to people I talk to on the phone and frustrating that I have to tell the other person everytime it's the phone vibrating. It does not make any difference in my life if it vibrates when I press the home, menu, return or search buttons.

When I'm using my bluetooth headset and hit the end button, I have no visual confirmation from my phone that the call has indeed ended.With the majority of the other phones I've owned, the screen will come on and a notification will pop up for certain things (call ending, incoming texts, bluetooth connected/disconnected, wifi available, etc). But on Android I can't find a way to do this.
