Motorola Atrix 2 :: Mute When First Receiving A Call?
Nov 7, 2011Had my Atrix 2 for a week and some times when I answer the phone no one is there.They can hear me perfectly well but my phone is dead quiet. Yes I've checked to make sure I haven't accidently hit the mute when answering. There is just no sound coming from the phone. Only a battery pull while powered on will restore the speaker function.Doesn't happen all the time, just enought to be annoying. Had taken back a SGS2 for this phone so I am stuck on this model and frankly I like it way better.AT&T didn't have any answers other than just hard reset it.

Jan 30, 2010I've noticed that when I receive a MMS message with sound, it default to mute and I am not able to hear it. On the old bold (9000), I was able to change the volume or make it mute right on the message. This doesn't give me an option to change the volume.I checked in my settings and there is nothing that looks wrong.

Aug 12, 2011have owner this phone for a monthe or so, i really enjoyed watching movies on it on breaks at work. in the last week it is not playing the sound on those movies. there all .avi files. i don't know if i have changed a setting or if the Internet app changed somethiing. i can still hear the sound on some files, but not on most. when i play the files that appear to have no sound, when i try turning up the volume the volume box that pops up says ringer volume.

If I plug in a headset it works, but while cooking in my kitchen at wired headset can lead to drops and damage. This issue only started a few days ago.

Jun 25, 2011For some reason, when I use the mediastation with my Atrix, I get an echoing sound. It's as if big room or concert hall is selected. The sound plays fine through the headset plug on the phone itselt, but all sound from the station sounds like it is in a tunnel or distant.I have tried sound settings for wired devices to no avail.

Oct 26, 2011If I send myself an email from my computer to my phone I get it in a minute, but without any notification other than the LED. No sound even though I have the notification sound on in settings and the volume up.
Sending an email is another story. The phone says it is sending it, but last night I ended up going to bed after a couple hours without having received two emails going from my phone to my computer, both with pics. This morning I had finally received the emails and the funny thing was, the sent time would have been correct, even though my computer did not actually receive them at that time. They must have been in At&t limbo for a couple hours???
This morning same thing. I took a pic, sent it to my computer, and upon opening Gmail it says it is sending (in red), but I'm simply not getting it. Is this a phone problem or an At&t problem? It's a bad problem, I'll tell you that. I can't be waiting a couple hours for someone to receive an email.
In the meantime, I'm going to send myself an email without a pic and see if that goes through right away.

Nov 5, 2011I record video using the camcorder app. I playback video and the audio has a high pitched whine / whistle or sound layered over the background audio. Sometimes the whine gets louder and sometimes lower but its aways there. Its very annoying sounding and seems like either feedback or interference or something. Anyone else experiencing this?I've tried various resolutions and zooming in and out, and lowering the volume all the way prior to entering the app (because you can't get any feedback on volume adjustment once in the app) and nothing i've tried seems to get rid of the sound. I have also tried the 3 "audio scenes" "Everyday" setting seems to be the worst, outdoors the best.

Jul 25, 2011I've had my Atrix since launch and it's been doing great, however just starting last night when I plugged it into both the wall, and then to the computer, it won't charge. It "sees" that the cable is plugged in because it lights up the screen, but it seems like the charging / usb port is dead for some reason. The battery is now totally dead and I have it plugged in, and all I get is a green light in the upper right hand corner, no display on the screen. I took out the battery and reseated it, no joy there.

After several failed attempts I noticed that the Bluetooth on the Atrix would not restart either from the Widget or settings menu. Turning the phone on and off repeatedly still would not get the Bluetooth to turn back on. Previous to this attempt at pairing with my PC the Bluetooth on my Atrix has been working just fine in my car.

Aug 30, 2012My phone was charged at 100% and was on the charger when this happened. Basically the phone froze for about 5-10 seconds and then the screen went black. I haven't been able to get it to turn back on. I've tried the hard restart (power and volumn buttons held down together) and I've tried connecting it to my computer but nothing works. Is there anything else I should try? Or do I need to just take it back to the AT&T store? I've only had the phone for a week and a half, so it's still within their 30 day thing.
