For some reason, when I use the mediastation with my Atrix, I get an echoing sound. It's as if big room or concert hall is selected. The sound plays fine through the headset plug on the phone itselt, but all sound from the station sounds like it is in a tunnel or distant.I have tried sound settings for wired devices to no avail.

I thought the cradle software was supposed to automatically mute those notification sounds, but there must be something I've not set right somewhere. Anyone know how to fix it?

The multimedia key on my Nokia N79 is broken (nr 3 in the picture). My plan was to map the 'multimedia menu' functionality on the left selection key (nr 2). But the 'multimedia menu' doesn't appear in the list of possible mappings. It is also impossible to reach the 'multimedia menu' via the normal menu.
Conclusion: if the multimedia key is broken, it appears that it is impossible to use the 'multimedia menu'
Does anyone know a workaround? Or, if Nokia is reading this, can you add the 'multimedia menu' to the mapping-options for the selection keys?
have owner this phone for a monthe or so, i really enjoyed watching movies on it on breaks at work. in the last week it is not playing the sound on those movies. there all .avi files. i don't know if i have changed a setting or if the Internet app changed somethiing. i can still hear the sound on some files, but not on most. when i play the files that appear to have no sound, when i try turning up the volume the volume box that pops up says ringer volume.

Sending an email is another story. The phone says it is sending it, but last night I ended up going to bed after a couple hours without having received two emails going from my phone to my computer, both with pics. This morning I had finally received the emails and the funny thing was, the sent time would have been correct, even though my computer did not actually receive them at that time. They must have been in At&t limbo for a couple hours???
This morning same thing. I took a pic, sent it to my computer, and upon opening Gmail it says it is sending (in red), but I'm simply not getting it. Is this a phone problem or an At&t problem? It's a bad problem, I'll tell you that. I can't be waiting a couple hours for someone to receive an email.
In the meantime, I'm going to send myself an email without a pic and see if that goes through right away.
In my motor blur account i have several email accounts but only one make a sound when it come in. Is there away to kill the sound for that email come in without turn off the sound on the phone it is yahoo.com email my other email donot make sound and only show in my notification when drop the screen.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI record video using the camcorder app. I playback video and the audio has a high pitched whine / whistle or sound layered over the background audio. Sometimes the whine gets louder and sometimes lower but its aways there. Its very annoying sounding and seems like either feedback or interference or something. Anyone else experiencing this?I've tried various resolutions and zooming in and out, and lowering the volume all the way prior to entering the app (because you can't get any feedback on volume adjustment once in the app) and nothing i've tried seems to get rid of the sound. The real limit is 1.5mm for case thickness. The motorola black leather, chrome, and gray/silver case is too thick despite the suggestion of one of the sprint reps (however it does come off easily as promised). Outbox also says its cases are too thick.

When docked, I can see everything on my HD TV that I see on the Bionic until I press PLAY. However, I type in the Dvorak keyboard layout which I would require for either of those two solutions to work. I know that Dvorak keyboards exist and those would likely work with the HD Station since no setting changes are required. However, in the case of the Lapdock if a setting somewhere on the software doesn't allow the layout to be changed I'll have to stick with my iPad and bluetooth keyboard

When I plug the Multimedia dock into the PC and dock my phone it does not.I moved from the Droid1 to the Droid4 and have a dock from my Droid1 that works as it should. The new Multimedia dock for my Droid 4 will not charge the phone while docked unless I plug it into the dedicated charging plug. Doing this, I lose the ability to transfer data back and forth via USB.

Every time I click on the 'home' button it goes to the home screen for the MultiMedia Base, and not the regular Droid home menu. This is a pain, because every time I want to use an app, I first have to press the 'X' on the MultiMedia home screen to get to the regular Droid menu.The worst thing about the Multimedia menu, is that on many phone calls I recieve while the phone is in the Multimedia base, when I 'X' out of the menu, it goes to the Droid menu and not to the Answer Phone window...by the time i get to the menu to answer the phone the caller is gone.
