Xoom - LTE (ICS). I have HD docking station and would like to know if there is an option to keep the display on. My Android 4 phone/docking station has options to show time/date. Does the Zoom (ICS) have options as well? If so, where can they be found?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe vehicle navigation dock and the HD station both feature a removable insert esigned to allow you to use them with your case still on. The real limit is 1.5mm for case thickness. The motorola black leather, chrome, and gray/silver case is too thick despite the suggestion of one of the sprint reps (however it does come off easily as promised). Outbox also says its cases are too thick.

My daughter has an iphone 4. She is trying to find a docking station so she can charge her iphone and play music thorugh it. We have tried at least 4 different models and none of them will work. When she plugs it in, the iphone reads "not compatible with this device" (or something like that) the weird part is that I have the same phone, same IOS 5.1.1 and my phone works just fine with all the docking stations she's tried.

i am to connect my iphone4 to the ipad docking station on my boze wave radio the radio (plays on my phone) but when I hit the aux on radio remote, no sound comes through radio..all ports and wires are connected...am i missing something?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to see if anyone else is having this issue. My Wifi Xoom will not stay powered off. I tell Android to shut down and it does, but then immediately powers back on. Has anyone seen this before? I have sent the device back to repair 2 times now and I get it back and it is fixed for a day or two and then starts rebooting itself again! (Note: I'm not talking about random reboots, just when I try to turn it off. I need to turn it all the way off so I can save battery, can't charge every day).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI ordered my Xoom from amazon.com, and exactly one day after their 30 day return period my tablet awakened showing only vertical lines. I am able to do a forced power-up (Volume up, power) but all you can see is the tablet going through the appropriately-colored start sequence, complete with the pulsating blue and purple honeycomb sequence - but with only somewhat compressed vertical lines. You can't really see where anything is on the screen, which has made it impossible to really acheive a factory reset start sequence. I've tried searching for this problem and haven't found it anywhere. I was wondering if anyone else had seen this.
Motorola suggested checking with place of purchase for return/exchange policy and/or returning the tablet to them. Mainly I'm curious if any others have experienced this and to let anyone who is know that they aren't the only one.
I love my Xoom, and after only 36hrs without it I am already missing it. Not looking forward to another couple of weeks.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced 5-10 thin blue lines/streaks in their display (red on a black background). I first noticed the issue when using my Kindle app a few months ago. Eventually they disappeared but now they've returned. It has been several days and like last time, don't go away with a device reboot or reset.

They show up fine in outlook and webmail, but on the Xoom they show up with tiny placeholders (boxes with green question marksressing on "show pictures" does not help. Emails with regular attacements can be viewed by clicking on attachements, and advertising pics are shown after clicking "show pictures" Only embedded or inserted pictures are not displayedI have seen posts about this on the android forum, but could not find any answers.Hopefully there is a solution, especially since the Xoom has the latest
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a XOOM WiFi I bought from Staples on launch day. A couple of days ago the screen started turning blue. If the device sits unused (such as overnight) the next morning it is fine for about a minute or two. Then it turns blue again. The blue corruption moves. If I try to scroll up on a list that is already scrolled as far as it can go a blue "halo" appears at the bottom of the screen for as long as I hold my finger on the screen. It disappears after a few seconds. I've already tried a soft reset. I haven't tried a factory wipe yet as I was hoping to avoid that.

It is using the 3.2 system and immediately when I turned it on I noticed that the boot up screen (blue honeycomb screen) was very blurry. Once it booted up I went on the browser and noticed that some of the ad boxes on the browser, dolphin and default were fuzzy and grainy. I also noticed that videos that opened and played from web pages were a little blurry. This is not the case with my friends aseus. We did a side by side. Is this normal for the xoom? This is very annoying so I muted my phone and this is fine until it time to wake up and the alerm doesnt sounds because I muted my phone. So my question is how to I stop the phone form playing the notificate every few minutes or how do I turn off the docking notification. I see nothing in the dock settings which is where it has been on every other android phone I have owned.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI finally received the docking station, keyboard, etc.. but when docking my only options are Photo gallery, Music, and Mirror -- no Webtop.If I manually launch the Webtop Connector application, I simply get two tabs: "Webtop Sessions" and "Webtop Bookmarks" -- and the Sessions tab says, "No webtop web pages to resume; an a link to "Learn more about Motorola webtop." -- which is just a video that trys to tell me what great capability I'll have once it actually works.When I check the running services and applications (under Manage Applications), there is a Webtop service, but it shows 0.00B - presuming that it means it is not running or taking up space; and a Webtop Connector application showing 28.00KB.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I have auto brightness enabled, I dock my phone, it goes into bedside mode, I pull it off the dock and auto-brightness no longer works. I need to tap the auto brightness icon on the power control widget for auto brightness to work again. The power control widget will say auto brightness is enabled the whole time, but it does not work until I tap it once after I pull my DROID3 off the dock.

The sound plays fine through the headset plug on the phone itselt, but all sound from the station sounds like it is in a tunnel or distant.I have tried sound settings for wired devices to no avail.

However the "navigation bar" at the bottom of the Xoom screen is not displayed on the tv. It would be handy to have this as part of the hdmi output so that I could navigate from across the room with my bluetooth mouse.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am unable to play HBO Go videos on my Bionic using the HBO Go app and the Bionic HD Station (dock). The videos display perfectly on my phone. When docked, I can see everything on my HD TV that I see on the Bionic until I press PLAY. The screen rotates to landscape on the TV then the following error message apperars: "Please unplug the HDMI or TV out connector and try to play the video again." I have done the following:
Powered off and removed the battery for 30 sec. as instructed by Motorola.Cleared the HBO Go app datUninstalled and reinstalled the HBO Go app Have talked with Tier 2 reps with Verizon and with Motorola. The latter says it's an HBO issue and that I should contact the developer. I haven't found an easy way to do that yet, but will keep trying. Until then
when i remove from dock wallpaper is reduced.. if i reboot all is fine again.. that is until i dock again..
